I may not be around till lunch-time tomorrow. OH has an early eye appointment, but he's also due for a scan etc, and that always takes longer.

Good morning, Oma, Lizzie is always awake early! I have been to the gym and I hope to go to the pool, my head still doesn't feel right, it did really until yesterday so I will see how it goes.
I went to visit the friend in the care home, she had a room full of flowers and a heavy perfume so that really kicked my allergy off. She seems fine at times and will be pleased to be back home again!!! She mentioned that a few times, I was chatting to her son when I got home and he said she always mentions it. We went out for a walk round the village, I have to get permission to take her out. She had lost her phone! I helped her to look for it, phoned a few times but no response, her son said the battery was empty, he can see that on his phone. I got a message last night that it had been found and was on the charger. It upset me though, seeing her like that and all the others on the same floor.
Daisy, good luck with DH at the hospital.
Gem, enjoy the relaxing day.

GD1 just phoned, she wants me to pick up some items missing from their order, she now has tested positive. I will pop in later after I have got her shopping, they are only down the hill to drop it off. I am hoping to go to bowls this afternoon. What is life if full of care we have no time to stand and stare

Hello, everyone. We're back home and I'm gradually thawing out.
Oma - OH has the scan first then the injections.
Today they were running late and I sat in the car for 2 hours. I got so cold my teeth were chattering, so I went for a walk so my feet didn't turn into blocks of ice. It was nearly 12 o'clock when OH came out. His eyelid looks very swollen and he can hardly open his eye. Some people seem to sail through these injections with no bother, but OH nearly always has a couple of days of looking as though he came off worst in a fight!
Lizzie - how sad to know your neighbour thinks she will be coming back to her flat, although as you say, it's a very common reaction. I hope the doctor can give you something to help with the dizzy spells.
Plant - I hope GD1 isn't poorly, even though she's positive. Take care - not the best day for a cuddle with baby H. xx Was it indoor bowls? It's pretty chilly outside.
Oma - I hope B enjoyed his trip to IKEA! Did you remember to get serviettes as well - or will you have to make another trip for those. (Sorry, B!) Did you find any nice photo frames?
I'm inclined to agree with Lizzie's hairdresser friend at her gym - it's a matter of when we get Covid not if!"Joy is what happens to us when we allow ourselves to recognise how good things really are. "

Daisy I hope you have warmed up now.
Maybe take a blanket and flask of hot tea or coffee next time?
Our hospital has a Costa just inside the entrance, so that would be a good place to wait if it were here.
I think it is very cold today.
I've just coloured my hair, which I have been meaning to do for a few days.“A grandchild fills a space in your heart that you never knew was empty.” – Unknown
