I spent a lovely hour or so on family chat with my brothers 6 children last night
I sent lots of old family Photo's of their Great Grand parents and Great Great Grandparents that they didn't know about
Also sent lots of pictures of my fathers brothers during WW2 and there GG grandfather in WW1

It wasn't till they were all sent we all realised my Brothers Youngest son who is in the Army is the double of one of my Fathers brother who was also in the same regiment during the war .
They all look alike my fathers Brothers but it was uncanny the resemblance of this one and my Nephew

      Good Monday morning,

Nanto. I hope your full day at home included plenty of rest.

Gem - have a lovely day with GS1. My GD2 quite likes Boss Baby on tv, and I've tried watching it with her, but just don't 'get' it! I hope the film is good.

Lizzie - when you find the perfect panniers you've just got to hang on to them! I'm glad yours found their way back to you eventually.

Plant - I'm so glad the Christening went well. It sounds as though GGD1 wasn't fazed by being the centre of attention, and didn't mind the water. My FIL (who was a vicar) always warmed the water for Christenings and he rarely had babies cry, but I can imagine a splash of cold water can startle a lot of little ones. Your blinis must be legendary within your family - I bet everyone looks forward to them.

Oma - I didn't have a great night either, despite being tired. I think my get up and go is having a lie-in this morning! I bet your brother's children were delighted with all those photos, and how fascinating to see the family resemblance through the different generations. It's fascinating.

WeeGranny - I hope there's good news today and your OH is moved back to the nursing home.

We had an early start this morning. We ordered new garden furniture a while ago. We had thought of waiting until Spring, but then thought there might be a shortage so we'll get it now. It arrived this morning and, of course, we've got nowhere to put it until the patio is done so we've unpacked it and stacked it up in the dining room. Just going to get a reviving coffee.

      I'll pop back later.

Plant, what a lovely day the Christening sounds. I'm sure GGD looked adorable.

Busy start Daisy. Now you can have picnics in the dining room 😄
Family chats like that are lovely aren't they Oma?
The table and chairs should be here mid December. In time for New Year's Eve 😊

We have decorated the house for Halloween this morning! 🎃
GS having some WWE YouTube time before we go out. We're going to Frankie and Benny's next to the cinema for lunch.

          Plant, the christening sounded lovely.

Oma, BIL isn't doing too badly. got to take things easy for a while.
FIL is doing ok. In fact he's been for a cuppa and biscuits today.
We're both glad he isn't sitting at home moping all the time.

I've had a good day. Got all my jobs inside done, while hubby went to the bungalow to help nephew.
After dinner i got the grass cut, hubby tidied a few things up in the garden.
So, i've just been in the shower and it's recharched my batteries.

Haha, Gem. A picnic is the last thing we can have in the dining room, unless it's an obstacle course. The furniture is flat packed and we've just taken it out of its boxes so we can spread it out round the room.

OH got two pumpkins today for the GDs to do tomorrow. That's about as far as we go. If we're in on Sunday evening we'll put a lantern out and have already got lots of goodies. GS1 must love 'granny' days - cinema and Frankie & Benny's!

Nanto - we posted together. I'm pleased to hear both FIL and BIL are doing well. It's great that FIL is getting out and visiting. Hopefully BIL will gain strength each day - he's been through a lot and it takes a bit of time to feel better, doesn't it.

Good morning Nanto and all who follow. My Goodness, you have been busy! Don't overdo it after such a hectic few weeks.

I'm off to collect the GDs in a few minutes - we've got pumpkins to do this morning, but no plans yet for this afternoon. Cooper's coming as well, so it will be interesting trying to keep the two dogs from running round the lawn and digging up all the tiny new bits of grass that are growing. They'll have to go out one at a time.

I hope everyone is ok. I'll pop back later - probably after the girls have gone home.

Like Nanto I have been up and all housework done although it was mainly dusting ,

DD came with Storm yesterday and he always leaves a few hairs here and there

Off to the Metro Centre this morning , I will go to M&S and The Cotton trader to look for cardigans ,
B said I am being too fussy but I know what I like , if I settle for second best it will waste money as I will end up not wearing them .

Off to a N T coffee morning, fun raising event this morning. Picking up a friend, hope we can park at the hall, I understand they are doing booster jabs at the surgery opposite and some people are using the village hall car park.

Have fun with the GD’s, pumpkin carving Daisy. You are going to be busy keeping the dogs off the grass.

Oma, hope you find your cardigan, is it the colour or the style you are having difficulty with.

I shall have to pop back later.

                            Good morning dear ladies.

Nan2, it's a good sign that FIL is getting out a bit like that. Don't overdo that cleaning!
I hope you enjoy the WI coffee morning Plant.
GDs, pumpkins and dogs, a busy day for you Daisy!
I hope you find cardigan Oma. OH would be jealous of you having a Cotton Traders. We have to order online.

GS enjoyed the film very much yesterday, and for child who is usually a chattering wriggle bottom, sat still in his seat and only very occasionally remarked quietly to me. Must be his new mature 9 year old side!
A nice day for me today.
Reflexology this morning, then off to my friend M's for coffee this afternoon. M usually comes to me when we meet now, as her DS who lives round the corner from her, works from her house. Not this week though!
OH off to the golf course this morning. It's a pity it wasn't yesterday, as that was a lovely day here.

Have a good day everyone. Stay safe, well and happy.

Good morning, dull here but warm.

Gem, GS1 did well sitting through the film, a neighbour had taken her GD to the film yesterday, she said she can't remember the last time she went to see a film.

Daisy, enjoy the pumpkin carving. It will be a busy day for you.

Oma, good luck with the cardigan, I have ordered another Regatta jacket, I will have to hide it though. I bought one a while ago, it is warm and waterproof with it, it wasn't expensive at all, I think the price lowers as the sizes sell out, I have kept my eye on them and ordered one yesterday, now I certainly have enough jackets.

Plant, I hope there is parking place at the hall, I went for my flu jab yesterday, in a sport hall, it was so busy, bikes everywhere and the car park was certainly packed.

Nanto, you are busy early mornings, I made banana bread early, I want to get it sliced now and put it in the freezer.

I met a man in the village, he was a jeweller here for years. I used to swim with his wife, he was telling me she is in a home with an aggressive form of alzeimers, she was always very , what can I say, quiet and different, I got on well with her, if we met in the village we would always stop for a chat. It is their golden wedding anniversary tomorrow.

Well im back no cardigans they all seem short in the body this year .

I did however get ANOTHER HANDBAG
A new tan cross body bag a little larger than the one I am using now .

B has gave up questioning if I really need another one he just rolls his eyes now and stays quiet

Oh and I bought 10 new tea towels and some cotton wool pads ,
So i didn't come home totally empty handed .

Lizzie its a horrible thing it takes people away from their family's as they don't know who their family are in the end , so sad .

Plant it seems to be the length of Cardigans this winter and the quality , I have someI wear around the house but I want some dressy ones to wear when I go out .
Enjoy NT this morning , hope you raise lots of money .

Gem you do have a lovely day planned hope your Reflexology leaves you feeling relaxed xx
