Daisy Storm is fine thanks seems to get better each day ,
He is ok with the decorator as he knows him , He is mine and DDs hairdressers husband and he does lots of jobs for DD as he is a qualified Electrician and handyman

The kitchen men are coming tomorrow to spray the surrounds on her kitchen units and her big unit around her range and to put doors on where they can ,
So Storm will be at ours as usual , he doesn't like strange men in the house .

Have you much dust ? I would be terrified of Eva falling from the landing , especially at night

Went to Dunelm as I wanted a Vase I seen online but it wasn't the colour I thought it was , they never look the same do they .

Hallo everyone, a lovely warm, sunny day again, I have been to get my hair cut etc, I am really pleased with the young lady that does it, I have been going since before the lockdown, so more than 2 years and I am still satisfied, I usually get bored after a while and want a change. She has her own salon at home and is very busy.

Plant, the lunch at the golf club sounds lovely, enjoy!

Gem, you have a busy day today.

Daisy, the glass will be nice when it is finished, be careful though, when DS2 was busy doing his upstairs and no rails for me to hold on to I was always very careful going up and down the stairs.

Oma, it is the same with a lot of things when you see photo's on line, I ordered a jumper not very long ago, it did look really nice, it arrived and went straight back, nothing like I had expected it to be.

I have found a grower in the next village for the olive trees, I will go and pick them up this week.

I am going for a ride later on, hardly any wind so lovely, it could be busy though.

My brother and wife have bought a bungalow and when they get the key I may book a week to go and help them, when I do not know.

Lizzie nice to find a grower are they the size you wanted ?
It is sunny at my end of the country but a chilly wind blowing ,
Just did the small pile of ironing from the washing I did this morning,

B busy making lasagna for tea so thought I would have a little time on my iPad before I do the upstairs mirrors ,
I have just realised the mirror on my landing is full length , when we do the panelling it will have to come down , I will buy a smaller one as I like a mirror there .

All this building and decorating work is making me feel tired.

I had a lovely lunch t the golf club, there were about 80/100 there, our NT group is very large and growing. Just called at the surgery to get my dressing changed then went to feed the ducks. It has been a lovely warm and sunny day here, not much wind.

Lizzie, I hope you had a lovely bike ride. I am sure your olive trees will enjoy your sunny balcony.

Daisy, we don’t have to book a slot at the tip, I am going there on Thursday, will load up tomorrow.

Oma, we had panelling half way on our stairs, dining room and bathroom in my previous house. I think we were a bit obsessed with it!

Take care of your hand when going to the tip Plant!

Beautiful Spring day here. Had to go into town and lots of people were taking off their jackets it was so warm. I kept mine on because I hate carrying jackets especially when you've got a bag too.

Went to see the solicitor to sign paperwork in readiness for exchange. He seems very up beat about it and he talked me through what w happen and when. Shut my eyes when I saw how much I'm spending!!!

Went into Lakeland and got a couple of bits I needed, resisted the urge to browse!!

I have some stuff ready to be picked up tomorrow by a group who deal in furniture etc for people on low incomes or who need furniture urgently. I managed to dismantle a bed and there's a coffee table and computer desk going too. I've offered them MiL's recliner chair so hopefully that'll go too. Nobody seems to want to buy recliners, there's loads on all the local selling sites. Even the free ones aren't going!

Henry seems to be settling Glamm and pleased that Storm is recovering too.

                Enjoy your evening ladies.xx

WG charities are getting very picky too .
Going into Lakeland is dangerous we always come out with things we didn’t go in for 😁

Plant do be careful you don’t catch your hand xx

Gem I have wanted the panels for a few years but kept putting off so now we are biting the bullet at last 😁

WG two recliner chairs were amongst the 10 'bulky items' we paid the council to take away from my mum's house.

It does sound as though things are moving along with your house sale

                                Good morning, welcome back Nanto.

DS2 just phoned, they have both tested positive for corona, DIL daughter and baby both have it as well, her partner started with it so it just spread. They are both fine, just headaches and sore throats. DS2 had to go for a test as he was going for X-rays for his lungs, that has been postponed.

I have been to the gym, I was talking to the trainer and he was saying about the weight loss, I have never looked at it in the way he explained, but, if you do 10,000 steps a day, with 30kg extra weight, that is 300,000 extra movements your knees etc have to make. The heart is the same, it has to pump at a much faster rate to get the blood pumped. I have to be 74 years old to discover that. Cheerful today.

One of the young men at the sport school, I like him, I get on well with him. He met a young lady about 3 years ago, I thought it all went a bit too fast but they bought a house together, a long way from here, near Amsterdam. She has 2 children and he has one daughter, she lives here in the village with her mother. He was saying this morning, it was a huge mistake but there is no way out. I feel sorry for him, he said he has to go all the housework etc when he gets home as she just sits watching TV all day long. He will have to sort it all out but he is certainly not very happy.
