l also bought a new laundry bin that I didn’t know I needed till I got in there 😜

Our local hospital has a nice cafe and there is also a WRVS coffee shop , you must have been freezing ,
I think you get colder just sitting in car than you do walking around ..

Gem hope your colour came out as it should , having said that I’m getting used to my colour 😁

Bowls this afternoon, can’t say I didn’t play well or I did play well. Nice crowd, lots of chat at teatime.

Gemini, I hope you are happy with your hair.

Daisy, that was a long time to have to sit in a cold car, definitely a blanket and a flask with a drop of spirit in it next time.

Oma, your poor B, you do put him through it. I bet that was a fright when the cat jumped at your window.

I left the purchases for GD1 outside the door, she was in bed, so was baby H, just her OH up, she face timed me later and she looked very flushed.

          Plant,hope GD feels better soon.

The so called experts have been saying for weeks, its not if we get the virus, its when.
          Something to look forward to.

Had another busy day.Got all the upstairs furniture into the garage.
Salvation army are coming on monday to see what they want to take.

Lizzie, i feel so sorry for your friend, but at least she is getting looked after.
          Glad her phone was found.

Plant - poor GD1. It is hard when you and a little one are poorly together. Sometime the social side of a sport is worth going for on its own. They sound a friendly group.

Gem - I thought about taking a blanket today, but told myself I was being a wimp. I also thought about a flask, but nobody is allowed in the Eye Unit except the patients, so I'd be desperately seeking a loo! The coffee shop at the hospital has been closed during the pandemic. I think it's open again now but it's right over the other side from where OH goes - a good 10 minute walk, and I never know how long he's going to be. Still, I've thawed out now - helped by a spicy chicken casserole and a glass of Guinness!

Nanto - you're making good progress with the house, but it must be hard work and very stressful. xx

Oma - the box frames sound nice, and I like B&W photos.

Good morning Nan2 and everyone else.

I hope you enjoy your quiet free morning Nan2. You will be glad when all the work at your FIL's house is done.

If its cold next time you have to wait in the car Daisy, I suggest a hot water bottle as well as a blanket It should be lot warmer by then let's hope. I hope your OH isn't too uncomfortable today, he does really suffer after his treatments

GS1 from school this afternoon. I'm not sure if we are going to martial arts. He can go to the same class on either Tuesday or Thursday each week, and if they want him to go on Tuesdays DD lets me know and drops off his stuff here.

Golf for OH , I want to go to Wilko this morning.

                Happy Tuesday everyone.

                    Good morning everyone.

Nanto - you were up and busy early today. I hope you put your feet up for a while when OH is out with his pal.

Gem - a hot water bottle is a good idea, but as you say, next time the weather should be much warmer. I've just put some gel in OH's eye and it looks very red and sore. I hope it's dry and not too cold for S's golf. Are you looking for something interesting in Wilco?

Plant - glad to hear you're ok, and hope the dentist isn't too painful either physically or financially. xx

No particular plans for me today except to take Eva for a long walk. I'll see how the day goes.

Good morning everyone, dull and quite cold here at the moment, I have just rinsed sand off my bike so it shines again.

Daisy, I hope DH's eye soon improves, it is painful for him? I have to keep on with my exercises for my head, and, avoid high steps. I always have a fleece blanket in the car, it is something we used to do when we went to the winter sport, always had blankets with us and something to drink.

We get the new rules later on today, already know what they are! Restaurants etc open to 10pm, children to 12 years don't have to be in quarantine if anyone in their class is infected. I will see what else they have to tell us.

Nanto, you did have an early start. I can only guess all the work you have to do at FIL's house, I called in at the friends house on my way home on Sunday, her DS and DIL were sorting, packing etc, they have almost finished the room then have to start on the bedrooms. Then, she still has boxes unpacked in the shed from when they moved back from Curacao.

Good morning all. The days are going too quickly, I keep meaning to post on here then another day is gone! SoI need to catch up yet again. Good luck at the dentist, Plant.

Not much going on here, I keep putting things off but really need to make a list and get things done. Another first for me yesterday, I ran Virgin and negotiated a better deal with them, saving £10 a month, So pleased as that is a job P would always do. Another tick ⭐️

I’m out to lunch twice this week! Tomorrow with friends then on Thursday with a group from our WI. Different places luckily, so should be nice.

I really don’t think we shall be seeing DS and his family this summer as planned.m the way things are over there could make it difficult, so I’m trying not to think about it 🙁.

I’m sorry if I’ve missed anything significant, but I’ll,see if I can catch up. Hope you all have a lovely day 🌞

                          Morning ladies ,
I have been to Asda early , wanted veg for tea and a few bits ,

Nanto sometimes if you cant sleep its a nice time to get some jobs done isn't it , i often do stuff that isn't noisy

Daisy poor J he must dread it knowing his eye is going to be sore for a few days bless him ,
How's the painting going any further on with the Hare ?

Gem its frosty but dry here S might be a bit cold but I bet she doesn't mind .

. Last night in the kitchen I opened a new bottle of Ribena , I only use it at night just to sip if I wake up thirsty ,
Anyway they have those ring pulls inside the cap .
Pulled it off and it sort of sprayed , went on the work tops and some on the floor , Got some kitchen paper and cleared it up , or so I thought

This morning in the cold light of day that little spray of Ribena was everywhere ,
Down the cupboard doors, the drawers, up the toaster ,on the tiles, the fridge door , Little purple spots literally all over ,
Luckily it hadn't hit the walls as it would have stained them and it would have been a re paint job .

I felt the spray force more than seen it but didn't think much had come out , How wrong was I , in future a towel will be placed over the ring pull when opening

Oma, that Ribera would make a mess, good thing it didn't spray onto the walls, I dropped a (small) pot of paint on Sunday, it sprayed on the wall, luckily it was the same colour and I managed to get it all removed, from the floor as well.

Enfys - it's surprising where the time goes sometimes. It's ok to put some things off - if they're not urgent/very important they can wait till you feel like doing them. Two lunches out this week sounds good. A big 'well done' on getting a better deal from Virgin. How disappointing that you probably won't see your DS this summer. It's so hard to plan anything relating to travel at the moment, but it doesn't make it any easier for you, does it. <<Hugs>>

Oma - I like Ribena as well and have had similar adventures with that wretched little ring pull. I try and remember to put a tea towel over it (or over me!) but you can guarantee that the time I forget is when it goes everywhere. Thank goodness you haven't got to redecorate, though!

Lizzie - you did well to clean up a pot of paint so thoroughly. Fingers crossed this is the end of your last lockdown - people must be very fed up. Yes, my OH's eye is painful and he can't put the soothing gel in himself, and can't bear me to touch around his eye, so it's quite difficult to squirt it in without holding his eyelids open!

Hi ladies good morning ,Enfys I am the same with letting things go over and forget to post as often as I should,if I go out and relax when I arrive home I am reluctant to move again or get caught up doing something else.

The discomfort in my back seems to have eased and I am coping with it thank goodness I hope everyone else is well Oma is B's eye OK now I go again on 31st for an eye injection hopefully it may be the last one.Does your B's sat nav have Ikea as its default destination ? I wish I felt confident enough to drive to our Ikea in Warrington I shall have to wait until DS1 can take me as I fancy some new kitchen bits & bobs.

I felt a terrible mum the other day when I was reminded it was DS2s 40th birthday on 5the Feb how bad is that I thought he was still in his 30's so have had to buy him a "special" present opposed to his usual man perfume I'm sure my memory is playing tricks on me,but where have 40 years gone I ask.

On Thursday my DS1 took me out for brunch with DGD she is so good sitting at a table and eating with utensils she has been taught well such good manners when out (until she gets home)

I must be off now as meeting my friend for coffee & cake and for a natter and put the world to rights once again.

                                Bye for now glamma x
