Hello all.
Enfys I feel the same about posting. “things” seem to get in the way and days race by.Congratulations on the phone transaction. I exactly know how you feel about doing things our OHs would . I still don’t feel confident about doing them.
It’s dull and dark here today. I had to have the lights on when I went to do “my lady’s” housework this morning.
I hope anyone with aches and pains gets some relief soon and everyone has a pleasant afternoon.
I have been cooking for the covid family, they are vegetarians so I have made some Quorn Shepherds Pies or cottage pies, take your pick. I have done some puréed ones for baby H. I have run out of ramekin pots now. Dentist went okay today, had a nice cup of coffee in an empty cafe.
Hi Enfys, dull and dark here too and very cold. I saw that some places are forecast snow for the weekend.
Daisy, poor J, he does suffer after that treatment on his eye, he must dread it. I haven’t had a chance to walk around the garden but there have been pansies flowering in the courtyard all winter.
Glamm, what a terrible mum you are! My DD will be 60 in March, I shall have to find a special present. Have a lovely catch up with your friend, nothing like a good girly chat.

Glamm and Plant - it's really shocking how our "children" can become so elderly while we are still in our prime! It's good to hear your back is feeling better. I'm sure you feel more like going out and meeting up with friends when you're not in pain.
Plant - I'm sure the covid family will appreciate the meals. Pansies are so cheerful in the winter, aren't they!
Clover - I'm sure your ladies are delighted you put the lights on and find all the little dust bunnies. The light on my GTech cleaner is cruel - it shows every speck, every cobweb and every dog hair!
I was very tempted to to take Eva out this afternoon - it was so cold and dreary. She was a little monkey - we saw lots of other dogs and every time she nearly yanked the lead out of my hand! She totally ignored all the ponies we passed, a group of about 10 people and a couple of others without dogs. Sometimes it feels like one step forward and ten backwards!

Oma, your Ribena incident reminds me of your coffee/tea on the ceiling story
Plant, you are good catering for the covid family!
Lovely to see Enfys, Clover and Glamma calling in
It had been sooooo cold today!
GSi was fine and happy to be back at school, very chatty on the way home. His teacher now has covid

Nan2, I hope you dont get too cold doing that job.
Daisy, how is your GD this morning? I hope she is much better.
Likewise the patients in your family Plant.
Aqua class for me this morning. It must be 5 years since I last did a class, since the pool I went to was closed. My friend T wants to come too but the class is full so she will book on Friday to get a place next week.
Library this afternoon, if I can still walk after the class!
Very cold and frosty morning here.
Take care everyone.

it’s bright but damp this morning ,
we have the Dog so won’t be going far apart from a little walk so I will get on with some jobs that need doing
Have a good day ladies xx
Good morning, a cold wind here, I went shopping after I had been to the gym, it was really cold!
Gem, enjoy the aqua, I love going.
I was talking to the man from the gym and he said it looked as though the gym was working for me, I told him how much I had lost so he took me to the weight bags and asked me to lift the one weighing what I have lost, it was heavy!
Daisy, I am hoping that "no news is good news" regarding your GD.xx
My head feels better today, I think it is from the tree pollen, it usually is at this time of the year.
Daisy, I hope your GD is feeling better and not giving cause for concern still. What a worry for you all.
Well done Lizzie, I wish I could feel the incentive to get some weight off.
Oma, enjoy your day with Storm. I hope you have found all the Ribena splashes.
Gemini, lovely to get back in the water, you shouldn’t feel stiff after Aquafit. It doesn’t look as if my classes will be back before March.
I really, really need to clean the bathrooms today, no other commitments except to pop in to see my GGD1 who will be next door today. I think I will change my doctors face to face appt. In two weeks for a telephone one, she might be able to find something out about my hand and the phoriosis isn’t any better, the 4 weeks of treatment is up now. It is really getting me down now. I suppose I could go down the private path.

Good morning everyone. What a pretty spring-like graphic, Nanto. It cheers up a drab day.
I've updated about GD1 on YEO.
Oma - have a lovely day with Storm. Will he find any stray Ribena splashes? We've got Cooper staying with us - one less thing for GD1's parents to have to think about. He slept on Eva's bed last night, and she slept on ours! They both think that's a good arrangement!!!
OH's eye is still very sore, and not sleeping last night probably hasn't helped.
Gem - enjoy your aqua class - I'm sure you will after all this time.
Plant - it sounds as though your GGS and GGD1 have escaped catching Covid from baby H, thank goodness. I'm sure psoriasis is made worse by worry or anxiety, so if they could treat your hand it might help with the skin problem as well. I'd definitely have a telephone consultation with your doctor if you can get that earlier than the face-to-face appointment.
Lizzie - it must have been quite a shock when the man at the gym got you to lift those weights. You've done incredibly well losing so much, and I'm sure you feel better for it, too.
Nanto - I hope it's dry for the outside work today. wrap up warm though, it's bitterly cold.
I've got dog training this afternoon, and OH says he'll look after Cooper (brave man!). Other than that, it's just a case of waiting for news.

A busy day here.
Aqua class this morning, which I enjoyed, good to be back after all this time.
Home for a shower, lunch and rest before I did my three hours at the library. I was very glad that most of it was seated this week
From there I went, rather late in the day, to drop our friend P's birthday card off. Luckily then were in between going out for lunch and then out again for tea later, so I stayed a for a cuppa and chat.
I just remembered I had few more items to add to tomorrow Sainsburys' order, so a big rush to get them on by 11pm (I managed it!)
Off to bed now, another early (by my standards) start tomorrow with a committee meeting at 9.30
Goodnight all. I hope tomorrow is a better day for Daisy, and anyone else who today hasn't been such a good one.
