Hallo everyone, Nanto, I often have problems opening those "safety" caps.

WG, good luck with the move.

I have been to the market etc in Rotterdam on the light rail, it is so easy travelling on it. I went to DS1 for a birthday meal last night and GD2 was telling me she is going into town with her friend this afternoon, it is the first time on their own, GD1 said she and a friend are going as well, not with them, just to be there if needed!!! Sweet of her! Then I decided I needed to go for threads etc, I don't do much sewing but need to stock up, I also got some denim to make a skirt so I have plenty to do.
It was just getting busy as I left.

It is the first time in a long time that I have managed to walk round the town, the sole really helps with my arthritis.

Gem, a friend of mine from Hunmanby has just had a knee replacement, I expect she went to scarborough.

Oma, love both pairs of glasses and I do like your hair and love your top. All in all, you look great.

WG, I hope the weather is kind to you on Thurs. I shall be driving past your new house tomorrow on my way to the hospital. My DS is taking me as it is so difficult to part at Stoke Mandeville.

                Lovely as ever Oma
WG fingers crossed all goes well!
Nan2 I can never open bleach.
Lizzie, that's good that the sole is helping your walking.

GS1 feeling much better now. Eating normally and had been on a walk with his mum and seen baby lambs.
I washed the catsitters bedding and got it on the line and will do their towels tomorrow. I have watched some TV and fell asleep! I have been to the post office to return my malfunctioning Kindle to Amazon and popped into the Co Op next door for broccoli and fruit.

OH is back from golf, and managed fine.

It seems like a positive day for most of us.

Plant - glad seeing the doctor has eased your worry about your hand.

Lizzie - you do get about very well. The light rail sounds a good way to travel, and you must have been very pleased with the sole when you were walking round. How did your GD2's trip into town go?

Nanto - how frustrating that the bleach bottle wouldn't open. My sister-in-law has got a little gadget for opening Toilet Duck bottles!! I did say to her that I'd just change to a different brand.

Oma - both pairs of new glasses look great and suit you. I love your hair - in fact you look very smart. I do hope you and B have enjoyed your anniversary, although celebrating by having cavity wall insulation put in is 'different'!

Gem - good to hear that GS1 is feeling better, and OH enjoyed her golf today. You are catching up with the post-holiday washing etc. As you say, it's not just what is in the suitcase, it's also the cat sitters' bedding etc. Don't even think about the ironing.

Grauntie - so pleased to hear everything is going well. t looks as though it will be dry on Thursday, which is always a big blessing when you're moving.

We have the dog tomorrow I’m looking forward to that as we couldn’t have him last two weeks me being poorly 😁

I intend hosing down the windows and drive get rid of the brick dust from the holes drilled it blew everywhere ,
They were good and cleaned the bulk of it but as we had a bit of wind it did blow about a bit , the windows look dreadful,
The window cleaner is due so I want to get the frames clean before he comes ,

We went out for tea a treat for our Anniversary ,
B was going to do a lamb dinner but we will have one tomorrow there was just too much going on today to bother.

Oma, i know what you mean about the dust.It was the same when we had ours done a few years ago.
Enjoy your day with the dog.

                        Morning Nanto ,
                        I do love Parrots 😁

Its quite Dull here too but I have managed to sort of clean the window frames and door ,
Not the way I want them but I’m still feeling lethargic so they haven’t had a good scrub

They do however look better ,the bedroom windows were tricky I didn’t want to lean out so the window sill got a good clean and windows I stretched my arm out with a hand brush and swept away what I could for now ,

B Will get the pressure hose out maybe Friday or Saturday ,

Waiting for Storm to arrive haven’t seen him for two weeks ,

What are we all up too today then ?
I will pop back later and see xx

Oma, enjoy your day with Storm. We had cavity foam injected many years ago but I can still remember the dusty mess. I am pleased you are being very sensible and accepting that you are still feeling the after effects of having Covid. Enjoy your day with Storm.

As I have said before, I am off to the hospital this afternoon to see the plastic surgery team to check on my hand. I shall drive to my DS’s and leave my car there. I shall then be wizzed to Stoke Mandeville hospital. He drives too fast and is very impatient with other drivers, I have to keep my mouth closed. I would much rather go with my DD but she has her GD’s today. I have a parcel to collect from M&S Food Hall, I might do that this morning.

Morning Nanto, it is overcast here atm.

                          I will pop back later.

Good morning everyone, I find it quite chilly, that could be with me still not being as I should!

It is the Kings birthday today, huge celebrations, I had a walk round the free market in the village, mostly toys etc and already very busy. I did buy a crocheted throw for my bed from the wool shop, they were selling the samples, one was my colour so I bought it.

Oma, enjoy your day with Storm and forget the windows!

Plant, DS1 used to drive like that, in fact, it was like a fairground ride going with him in the car! Since he has the family he has (luckily) slowed down.

I met a young lady I know, she was in the surgery last week when I was there, she has the flu I had, she is still coughing from it, that is what I have as well, in fact I wanted some cough medicine but the shop wasn't open so I will go and have a another look later on.

Plant remember to ask for a copy of report so you can read at your own pace .
My DS drives like that , I have only been in the car a couple of times with him as he scares me .
