    Sending love Nan2.
Try to keep your spirits up. So many babies have far less problems once they arrive than they have been diagnosed with before birth xx

Nanto -I know how worrying it is when a scan seems to show problems (it happened with my GD2). You feel sick with worry for the baby and mummy and daddy. Being delivered at 38 weeks sounds sensible and they will be all prepared for any immediate treatment that may be needed. But I hope and pray for you all that baby will arrive safely with no major problems.

Concerns were raised with both my GDs that they were underweight for dates. They were 6lbs 6oz and 6lbs 3oz at birth - far heavier than had been predicted.

It's awful feeling so helpless, but your love and support will make a huge difference to your GD and baby's Daddy. Sending hugs. xx

Gem - poor GS1. Do you thinks it's just a reaction to all the travelling, time differences and accumulated excitement? I hope he's stopped being sick and is ok by tomorrow. x

I hope you enjoyed your Chinese.

Oma - the bookcase is looking better than I expected. We'd left it out in the garden to dry, then it started to spatter with rain. The sky looked black, so I put it in the summerhouse. Then the rain stopped! I'm glad you're listening to your body telling you to rest when you feel tired. That and come and go for a while. xx

Nan, it will be a worry all round but as the other ladies have said, lets hope the worry was for nothing and that all is well with the baby.xx

Thank you for the kind comments about the baby.
It just seems like every time she goes for a scan, they find something else wrong.

Its chilly this morning, but its dry. Quite a while since we had rain.

            Daisy,the bookcase sounds very nice.

Good morning, Nanto. Bright but a bit chilly here.

Nanto - I do think the medical profession tend to give the worst-case scenarios. But they are keeping a close eye on everything. Stay positive. xx

I'm looking after GD1 this morning. She's still not well enough for school - long story and I'll write about it elsewhere when I've got a minute. Her mum and dad have both got to go to a meeting this morning so I'm "baby" sitting - and Cooper sitting, of course. Then I want to go to the garden centre and get some summer plants and some ground cover plants to try and keep the weeds at bay.

I hope everyone is ok. Chat later.

                    Good morning everyone.

Nan2, in many ways we were better off with no scans!! I know lives can be saved by detecting certain conditions, but I have lost count of the parents given months of needless worry.

Daisy, I hope GD is on the mend soon.

Cavity insulation Oma, what way to celebrate your anniversary!

I told the librarian I wouldn't be in today. Jet lag and recovering from this cold made me decide it's too soon for mornings! I had always said today would be a Maybe.
If GS1 is well enough for school today I will be picking him up and having him here.
Unpacking and starting to write my holiday report for GransRus are on the agenda too. Golf for OH, I hope she is not too tired!

A FB friend (more of an acquaintance although I have known her for many years) messaged me last night with some very helpful information about getting my knee sorted. Very kind of her and I will be acting of that today.

                    Have a good day ladies.

Gem too soon to be going and doing a shift at the library, plus you need to rest your knee ,
When you come back from a holiday it’s all the unpacking and laundry isn’t it ,
I have always tried to do laundry before we come home but it still has to be ironed ,

Was The cat pleased to see you 😁

Actually he was very pleased to see us Oma

We had the huge American washer and dryer in the laundry room at our villa, so kept on top of the washing, but as you say its all the ironing! Plus two sets of bedding from the cat sitters waiting for me! That I will wash today.

Oma, you will probably find that you really back to your old self for a while. Suddenly one day I realised I had my energy back, don’t push it.

Daisy, I hope your GD1 will be better soon. That bookcase colour sounds very nice, I like that colour.

Gemini, I think you are wise not to go to work in the library today, you need to rest those knees and get over the jet lag. Poor GS1, I wonder what has upset him, he wants his GM.

Nanto, very worrying for your GD1 and family, scans are very good for picking up on problems but very worrying for the expected couple and the family.

I called into the surgery with the list of treatment required for the psoriasis and asked her to check my notes, although I can access them myself. Apparently the lump was a basal cell carcinoma and I have to have a check up in two years. The receptionist said I should have had a letter from the hospital. Not too worried now.

It is a fine day today, I hope it is like this for WG’s move tomorrow.

Plant, there is obviously nothing to worry about so that's good. Just something to keep an eye on.
GS feeling much better today, appetite is back. He looked so tired and poorly on our chat yesterday. No school for 48 hours after sickness bugs though, which I had forgotten about.
