Lizzie did you freeze some of your lovely Blackberries ?
Our neighbour picked lots of them last year ,
where he works at a fishing farm they are surrounded by bushes so he brought us and another neighbour big tubs of them .

We gave them a really good wash , used some and froze the rest in batches took ages to do but they have seen us through the year ,

I had more energy this morning so I have dusted through and the bedrooms ,
and cleaned the bathroom after we both had a shower ,
B has kept the house clean but there are bits he doesn’t see bless him
The work tops needed a good going over .
Im tired again now but so much more myself today thank goodness .

Have a good Sunday ladies xxx

I am going to the local hospital this morning for someone to take a look (I think) at my psoriasis. I hope they will be able to magic it away, it has been with me since last summer. Part from that, nothing planned, might do some gardening. It is sunny but windy again.

Good morning, I thought I was feeling better than I am! I will take it easy today, cancelled my synergy for tomorrow.

Yes Oma, I have frozen the blackberries in to use in my quark etc, to be honest they are not as tasty as the ones that grow wild, we knew that though, my mum used to say that years ago. I envy you a freezer full of the tasty ones.

Plant, I hope all goes well at the hospital.

Good sunny Sunday morning, everyone. We had rain overnight, but it's lovely now and everywhere feels fresh and new.

Lizzie - the blackberries look lovely, but I agree, the ones you pick wild are the best. We get lots of them round here. I'm glad you're taking it easy. It's so tempting to overdo things when you're recovering, isn't it.

Oma - well done to B for keeping everything spick and span while you had Covid. You can't beat giving the worktops a good going over though! I was looking at ours this morning after yesterday, and they need a good scrub. I hope you're relaxing for the rest of the day, though.

We haven't heard of any of the family suffering from yesterday's food! Thank goodness. DS2 was 47 yesterday, and DS1 will be 50 in June. Of course, they're still my little boys even if I have stopped checking they've got clean ears! GS2, who is 17 is growing like a weed and it taller than my OH now, which GS2 thought was great!

Plant - I do hope the doctor can help with your psoriasis. You must be fed up with it.

Nanto - it's definitely a good day to get the washing out on the line - love the graphics!

We're going over to GS2's today to deliver his birthday presents - DIL got him an outdoor potting bench for his bonsai trees and it was too big to go in their car last night. After that I think we'll just have a lazy day - plenty of leftovers, so no cooking.

Gem - I hope you've landed safely and are on your way back from Manchester. Have a good sleep. x

WeeGranny - I know you're really busy getting ready to move, but I do hope you've got a minute or two to sit down with a drink and relax in the sun. Take care.

Daisy, so pleased the party went well. Good news about your GD.

Now Oma, don’t over do it, I am sure your body will tell you when to rest. so pleased B managed to avoid it.

Lizzie, you take care too, don’t push yourself. Have you got a garden you can sit in and relax?

We used to have blackberries as well as raspberries in the veg garden but the wild ones taste best especially if they grow near water.

I am just off, I hope I come back with satisfaction that they can do something to get rid of this annoying and itchy problem.

I saw a very nice lady doctor who had me more or less undress. I left with a list of more creams and instructions which I have to take to my surgery for them to write me a prescription. The doctor gave it a name which meant it was a form of psoriasis which is individual scaly spots. So here we go again, wish me luck. I called into my DS’s family for one of their delicious coffees on the way back.

Nanto that is the site I use for graphics but I will search it a bit harder.

Hi everyone, I am back on UK time!

Journey was fine, as fine as any overnight flight sitting up can be!
We have had 3 hours or so dozing sleep since we came home, had showers and taken in the Tesco shop. A couple of cups of tea too and we feel more human
We need to stay awake to try to adjust to UK time, but won't be late to bed tonight!

I'm too tired to respond to individual posts, but I will catch up tomorrow. My cold is improving a lot and I tested negative again today.

Gem - a very warm welcome back from us all! I'm so glad you tested negative. I'm still blaming the Air Con for your cold-like symptoms. Sleep well tonight. xx

It could be the air con I suppose, but I have coughed so much my ribs hurt and I had to ask everyone not to make me laugh!
