    Hello again,
A busy morning at the library but I did get to sit down for some of the time! I didn't take my stool this time Oma. I will next week.

It's still early days for you Glamma, I think it is normal to feel wobbly on certain anniversaries for many years. How lovely that your DS brought you flowers.

What lovely photo's Oma, do they know whether it is a boy or girl??

DS2 has just been for a shower! He was working in the village and now going to a friends in Rotterdam, something to do with music!

I have got a travel insurance for a year, I did have one but when all the covid happened I stopped it, I decided I need one, this one is not expensive and I can use special "module's" for the weeks I am away, I have to look into that yet.

I stood in the lift with the ex friend, the one that was out and about whilst he had covid, they have ignored me ever since, strange people.

Clare looks blooming Oma. Not long now.

I went to to see WG this morning, she is very happy with her new abode. Love her panelling in her lounge and her wooden floors. I could see my GS’s garden behind her house. Her house is a few doors down from the small village hall, I am sure there will be things going on there for her to join in.

Good morning. Raining heavily. Its a looooooooong time since we saw rain like this.
Looks like gardening is off the cards.

Plant, how nice that you and WG are living near each other.

                      Good morning everyone.

Nan2 it looks as though we have had that rain here during the night, but it's not raining at the moment.

Plant, it's lovely that you and WG have seen each other.

Aqua class for me this morning. Then on to see my mum this afternoon. I will attend her annual review whilst I am there ( feedback between manager and family) Last year's was by phone.

I hope someone somewhere is having nice weather!

Gemini, I envy you your Aqua class, if only I could get rid of this psoriasis. Just started new treatment, fingers crossed. Hope the review for your mother goes well.

We shall have to get WG to take a pic of the panelling in her sitting room Oma. B has nearly finished yours, what job have you got lined up for him next?

I don’t seem to be able to work up any enthusiasm to do some gardening, I always seem to find an excuse. The GGC will be next door today, so that is todays excuse and bowling tomorrow and hairdresser on Friday. The sun is out so no excuse.

Nanto, Sorry to hear you are having heavy rain, although our garden needs it.

Good morning everyone. I'm sorry I didn't make it back on to this thread yesterday, but I've caught up with you all. My goodness, everyone seems busy.

Glamm - sending you hugs. I hope getting all your summer dresses etc sorted out for your holiday will help you to look forward to it.

Gem - I hope the annual review with your Mum's care home goes well. The wether's not too bad here - no wind, bit of hazy sun. Certainly better than at Nanto's.

Oma - that dog is spoiled rotten. I'm impressed that he's got you so well-trained. It won't be long now until all your panelling is finished. I love the photos of Clare. She looks so well and very happy. I hope she relaxing and enjoying these last few weeks. What a stunning Baby Shower cake.

Lizzie - some folk just aren't worth bothering with! Your travel insurance sounds very flexible - you'll be off globe trotting for sure.

Plant - how lovely to be able to go and see WeeGranny. Her new home sounds perfect, and lovely that you're so near. It would a lovely if wG found an art group in the village hall - she's so talented and I love seeing her pictures.

Nanto - if the rain means no gardening, you will just have to sit down in a comfy chair and relax.

My aim this morning to to plant up the herb box OH has made. We've got an old concrete bench in the garden, which is broken, excruciatingly uncomfortable to sit on and (I think) a real eyesore. But OH for some reason loves it. It was left behind in a long-ago house, and has somehow followed us ever since! Anyway, after nearly 55 years of marriage you learn when to compromise and negotiate, so we've still got the bench, but it's now under the kitchen window at the side of the house and the herb box fits it perfectly. We're both happy!

The lawn is growing fast, so I'll get that cut as well. Then it's dog training this afternoon.

Hallo, I am that "someone, somewhere" with the lovely weather Gem! I have been on the bike to Zoetermeer and got tee shirts from C&A. Lovely and sunny.

Daisy, you will both be pleased with the concrete bench! Waste not, want not!

Glamm, you will be getting excited about the holiday now.

                              Oma, enjoy spoiling the dog!!!

Gem, I hope the visit to your mum goes well, do you ever get to see your sister?

I will know next week when GD2 has her musical at school so may have to change my sailing dates, I hope not but will have to wait.

I called in next door to see how she was yesterday afternoon, I do get on well with her, we sat chatting and when I got home I looked at the clock, 7pm, we had been chatting for more than 2 hours!

I didn't think we were going to be able to garden today. It was raining heavily early this morning.
However the sun came out and it was quite warm. Dried the garden.
Hubby wanted to get the tubs planted up, which he did get done.
After dinner i cut the grass.
                                Went the day well.

Gem, hope you had a lovely visit with your mum.
