Just been on the Lakeland site and ordered 2 new oven bottom liners.
Also ordered some fat trappers. I use them when i am grilling bacon,sausages and pork chops.

Oma - J will always remember the moment when he saw his first car! He's such a lovely lad. I bet he felt really proud filling it up today.

Plant - I do hope you are having the most wonderful evening. You certainly deserve it after the last couple of weeks or so.

Nanto - that's the trouble with having a go with the flow day - we tend to 'flow' towards shopping, and they are useful items, so don't count!

We have spent the whole day on the garden. It's been very windy and we had to keep chasing things like kneelers and empty pots round the garden. We've put the supports up for the new apple trees, and weeded that whole bed. There were great clumps of Lords and Ladies which I hate. Some of them were very deep and hard to get out, and I'm sure they'll keep coming back! We also made a small rockery in the front ready to plant up to hide the tree stumps we couldn't get out. OH was wearing trousers which you can zip the legs off to make shorts, and one of the zips on the leg broke! He looked very funny with one 'proper' leg and one short one!! We're shattered now, and I'm just off to get us some dinner. I think we deserve a glass of wine as well!

We will miss Call The Midwife. We have loved Sunday nights with Dancing on Ice followed by Midwife.

I have to pop to the card shop in the village this morning, otherwise I will be staying at home as GD and GS2 will arrive around midday until 5 or 6.

Went to our small Morrisons this morning , as we past on way home we called into Farm foods ,
If you have one it might be worth popping in .

All Flavours of Carte D'or ice cream is only 99p a tub , and a box 4 Magnum ice lollies all flavours £1.39

We had an amazing evening, fantastic box. It was lovely to meet all the GC and their partners there. Sil had ordered sandwiches and wine to be in the box. We had a fantastic view and lots of oohs and ahhs. The Albert Hall was packed, it is such a lovely building. After lot of hugs we all departed saying will see you in a fortnight when they will be here for DD’s actual birthday. On not such a pleasant note I am off to the hospital for them to re-dress my hand, I hope it is a smaller dressing.

Oma, your GS will still be on cloud nine.
