    Hello again.

No Plant you haven't missed anything. I will update on the house sale tomorrow when I have more time.
Happy dog training Daisy and Eva

A good aqua session and we had coffee and chat after. I've had my shower and lunch, emailed the estate agent (more on that tomorrow) and when my hair has dried a bit more I will head off to see mum. DD has left key for me so I will have an hour or so there before I go back for the meeting, with a cuppa - and the loo, as we are still not allowed to use them in care homes!

A late posting today, no gym until they allow me in again on Friday. I went to pick my friend up, the road was closed and I don't really know that village, so, I saw most of the village then found the diversion and got there, we went to the garden centre, she seems to enjoy it, we had coffee and it all went well, I took her back in time for lunch and she said she would go down to wave to me, she thought it was a way to escape but I knew what she was doing and so did a nurse, she took her back to for her lunch. She never mentioned her house and I didn't. Her daughter has just phoned, she can't visit this week as her partner has tested positive. Driving home and thinking about it, it makes me sad!

Nanto, I hung my washing out before I went and it is all dry and tidied away now, a lovely sunny day but a cold wind, we won't complain though after what we have had lately.

Daisy, your OH is doing well being interested in the gardening, nice really as you can work together. I saw some lovely plants and bushes at the garden centre, I want 2 olive tree's for the pots I have emptied as it gets far too warm up here for most plants,

DS1 phoned this morning, GD2 is 13 tomorrow, she goes to football training to 6-45pm, he asked if I can be there before 6-30, DS2 and partner will be there, maybe another auntie as well, then it will be a surprise for her when she gets home.

Oma, I am not saying you spoil Storm, only, him having the lovely meal and you eating corned beef sandwiches!

Gem, I hope the meeting goes well for your mum and you have a safe drive back home.

lovely to see a bit of sunshine on what has turned out to be a dull day after this mornings brightness.

Oma - I did a double-take when I saw your daffodils. I have a vase exactly like that which I use for my daffs. At this time of year I buy a couple of bunches every week, but this week for the first time, I was very disappointed. They arrived half open (but within the display until date) and have died in 4 days. )

Lizzie - I hope your GD2 has had a wonderful birthday, and a lovely surprise seeing you and an aunt as well. I'm glad your friend enjoyed the trip to the garden centre.

Gem - what a busy day, but I hope you made the most of the hour or so at DD's and relaxed for a while. Fingers crossed about the house sale. I do hope the journey home in the dark wasn't too bad.

I managed to get a climbing rose pruned a bit and tidied up this morning - I would have done more but a friend called round unexpectedly, and then it was time for an early lunch and dog training. We were debating today whether our dogs would 'work' for other people, so we tried it. Eva got quite excited in her"what do you want me to do - is it this, or this, or this?" There's a beautiful Leonberger in the class and when she jumped on a piece of apparatus her nose was exactly level with my treat bag full of cooked liver! She was very happy! I commented it was like working with Cooper, only hairier. She was so lovely.

I got back to find OH had cut down the old apple trees!

            I love daffodils too.

The drive home was fine, luckily I was following 2 other cars so could focus on their headlights.
I arrived at DD's just as the family arrived back from their day out, so that went well too.

Gem - glad to hear you're home safely. It's far better to have a couple of cars in front of you than behind.

That was a stroke of luck Gem . Glad the drive home wasn’t too stressful xx

Daisy should we be calling J Percy Thrower now 😂
Bet Eva was so excited 😁 After his lunch Storm slept most of the day .

Josh and SIL turned up to collect him ,
SIL’s back is much better but he is taking it slowly ,

I glad to report GS’s 1970’s porn star moustache has been shaved off , I hated it , he did say he would because I didn’t like it 😁

                Much nicer .

Im debating if I should go to bed now or give it another hour think I might go up soon .

Oma, we love daffodils as well. They always look so bright and cheery.

Not feeling at my best, had a bit of bad news about the new baby.
I'll write up about it later.

Taking MIL shopping and for lunch today ,
We usually shop very early but you can't get MIL out till at least 11am ,
We will take her out for lunch first , B made chicken Casserole for tea last night so there is a big tub of it for her for her tea tonight .

Hope everyone is ok this morning , im tired but nothing unusual there on a couple hours sleep ,
My sister was the same last night , must have been something in the air or she came out in sympathy with me

The sun is out but we have had a few snow flurries , very cold .

                          Good morning everyone.

Nan2, sending love and hoping whatever is concerning you about the baby isnt as bad as you fear xxxx

Oma, I agree about your GS's moustache. He is a handsome lad, but I don't think they look right on such young men/boys. Did you get any more sleep?

I agree about the driving Daisy, my nightmare scenario (which happened regularly when I used to drive home in the dark from DD1's) is me leading a line of traffic, all dark ahead on my side, and headlights glaring coming the other way.

A free day today. I deserve it!
I need to go to the local post office, and will probably call into the Co Op next door. Apart from that no plans.
OH thought the course would be closed again as it rained heavily all night. We planned to go to the cinema to see Belfast. However, the course is open. As she is the person who organises the Thursday Roll Up, she has to go. Never mind we will catch it another time.

                          Have a good day ladies.

Good morning everyone. It's cold, dark and raining here. Dismal.

Nanto - I'm so sorry to hear there is bad news. Sending love and hugs, dear.

Oma - wrap up warm. It sounds as though you should be staying in and having a nana nap today. I hope MIL is ok and enjoys her outing.

It was a toss up whether I did housework or gardening today. The weather has made the decision for me - boo hoo!

Daisy, yes it is indoors today, although it has stopped raining atm.

Oma, I quite liked your GS’s moustache. I hope Mil is happy today for your shop and lunch. I don’t know how you function on so little sleep. I had a bad night too.

Nanto, I am sorry to hear the baby is causing some concern.

I am planning to pop in to see everyone at bowls today, perhaps I will make their tea. It is DD’s 60th next weekend and the family are all popping in. I was going to suggest to GD2 that I will buy some buffet food if she gave me a hand but Waitrose and M&S are not advertising party food apart from sandwiches etc. DD is always cooking, I thought it would be nice to give her a rest on her birthday. I have a fish kettle in the loft but can’t face that sort of cooking now.

I did go up to bed about 4.30 till 7 .

MIL better be good I’m not in the mood for her antics ,
Having said that she is feeling a bit sad this week as it will be 8 years on Saturday since FIL died , so I do feel for her , she misses him so much .

We thought getting her out would take her mind off it for a few hours .

Plant I’m sure the bowling lot will appreciate the tea making but if your right handed be careful picking a heavy tea pot up .

Maybe buy some stuff like Quiches and pizzas that sort of stuff that is easy to heat up for DD Birthday .
Oven chips tend to go down well with the men and youngsters on a buffer too xx

Gem a free day you won’t know what to do with yourself 😁
Yes I don’t like the moustache, don’t mind when he has a trimmed beard with one but he is too young to hide his lovely face , he just doesn’t look like him if you know what I mean 😁
