    Morning ladies ,

Gem how do you find the audio books ? I have often wondered about downloading one .

Daisy GD will be pleased she is home and having decent food .

Nanto I always get more done when B is out

Going to MILs this morning then to Morrisons and on way back I have several bin bags of clothes to drop into the Cancer charity shop ,

Matalan is next door so I may look in there , replenish what I have emptied out of wardrobe

I had a bad headache last night I think I had tensed myself up going to see the Dr , I was exhausted went to bed at 10 and didn’t wake till 6.30 , can’t even remember laying down just went out like a light

How are we all , I hope everyone is ok , I will pop back later xxx

Oma I'm not surprised you had a headache, worry and tension does that. I'm glad you slept well.
I borrow the audio books in CD form from the library. As I am there for several hours on Wednesdays I have time to peruse them I have borrowed a couple which didn't grab me and gave up on them. This one and the one I had before this are really good kept me entertained on all my journeys. With the two school runs and a visit to my mum I have over two hours each week alone in the car to listen. You do miss bits when doing something which requires a lot of attention though!
I know Plant enjoys books in audio form.

Good morning, very sunny here at the moment, I have managed to get the kitchen window etc cleaned after the decorators had finished. I had just finished and whether or not someone down in the park fell off their bike or had a heart attack I do not know, there were police, fire engine, 3 ambulances and the emergency helicopter. I will read what it was later on.

I may go to the market in Zoetermeer for cheese etc.

Gem, I could try an audio book, at the moment I can't concentrate to either watch TV of read a book!

I have been to the gym and I do enjoy that. It wasn't busy this morning.

Oma, I am sorting clothes (coats) out, got more space now in the wardrobe.

That long sleep will have done you a lot of good Oma, you must have been worried what would come of your visit to the doctors. I am sure your contribution to the charity shop will be appreciated.

Gemini, yes I do have audio books, I pay a monthly subscription to Audible. It is a very wide choice of books, I love the ones read by Anne Dover and I mainly play them in bed on my laptop with an ear mic in. National Trust talk this afternoon, not sure who the speaker is.

Well done Lizzie going to the gym early.

We have sunshine, late up as I didn’t sleep that well. The place on my hand was hurting. I have put a dressing on it to try to stop knocking it. I wonder if baby H is still testing positive, I expect DD will fetch her if she is.

Daisy.......I've accepted an offer for my house and had an offer accepted on the house I want to buy. I'm not saying any more because I don't want to jinx the process! The paperwork seems never ending.....I'm sure they didn't want to know that much last year! Thank goodness I bought a new packet of paper for all the photocopying I'm doing!

Off to deliver papers to the solicitor now. Easier, and less costly, to deliver them by hand rather than posting them!

Hope everyone is alright. Enjoy the rest of the day xx

WG, well done about the houses, hope everything goes smoothly.

Rang GD1 earlier. She has covid again. She had it before when it first appeared.
She got in touch with the midwife, who told her everything should (should being the operative word) be ok.
Midwife told her it's more serious from 28 weeks pregnant.
GD doesn't feel poorly, it's the cough and sore throat that is worse.
Midwife said if she thinks something's not right,to get in touch with her or the GP straight away.

WG - I'm not saying anything because of jinx fears, but I have got everything crossed for you. xx

Nanto - poor GD1. I hope she's soon better, and babies are very resilient and well-protected. Is she resting and being kind to herself?

Oma - how good to hear of you having a good night's sleep, even though you had a headache. Did you get all your errands done today?

Gem - talking about listening to your audio book in the car reminded me of both GDs loving the Paddington Bear stories and we always played them. I haven't got a CD player in this car and have never got organised with playing music through my phone!

Plant - sorry to hear you didn't sleep well. How is Baby H today?

Only plan for today is supermarket shopping.

Daisy, yesterday all GD did was watch tv and read magazines.
She's like me though, she can't sit and do nothing.
Her husband will be at home over the weekend so she will have a bit of company.

Good Saturday morning Nanto and all who pop in later. Enjoy your shopping. No coffee and cake out this morning, Nanto? I'm sure your GD's OH will keep an eye on her and make sure she doesn't overdo things.

It's wet here this morning. It was hoping it would be dry enough to go out and get some gardening done today. Perhaps later. I need to get the bed for the new tree prepared before it arrives on Tuesday or Wednesday. We still have Cooper with us.

I hope everyone is ok this morning. xx

                            Good morning everyone.

WG, fingers crossed for the house sale and buying! Yours is going fast like my DD3's.
Nan2, I am sorry to hear about your GD. I hope she doesn't feel too bad. Try not to worry about the baby, the midwife sounded reassuring.
Daisy, how is your GD now?
Plant, do you have an actual appointment to get your hand seen to?

No plans today apart from going out with friends tonight. To the Cantonese restaurant in the village. We haven't been since before the pandemic, I am looking forward to it.
                            Happy Saturday .

Gem - we posted together. What a sweet puppy in your graphic. Enjoy your evening out. We haven't heard how GD is today. I'll give them a ring a bit later - GD2 has swimming first thing so it's always a bit of a scramble on a Saturday morning.
