      Hello Mimi!

I'm not great at posting daily, but I do check in. This is such a fantastic site, that you know you can turn to the members for advice or just have arant or moan if you need to.

Keep safe and hopefully those demons will soon be chased far away x

Mimi, sorry you aren't in a good place at the moment.
I didn't think you had abandoned us. Just take care of yourself.

Mimi - I'm so sorry you're going through a tough time. You've been in my thoughts, and I was wondering if you are ok. I wish I could come and slay those thought-demons for you, but you know we're all here when you want to chat, rant or sob on our shoulders. Sending you love and hugs. xx

WeeGranny - that's a very nice thing to say about GRU, and we really appreciate it. We've got such an amazing bunch of members and there's always somebody around to cheer, comfort or entertain.

Oma - Many thanks for the recipe. B is, of course right - we do have brandy in the house! I hope you can get a better night's sleep tonight - I felt quite exhausted just reading about your restless night. x

Gem - I hope it stayed dry for S's golf. We had a really heavy downpour here just after lunch, then another shower around tea time. It went quite chilly too. Definitely not July weather - I suppose we used up our supply of summer in March. How did GS1's art project go?

Plant - I'm glad you've got another knitting project to start on. You seem very busy at the moment so it will give you a chance to sit down and relax. I mainly just make our everyday bread in our bread machine, but it tastes so much better than shop-bought, and there are no dubious chemicals in it.

            Enfys - sending hugs. xxx

                    Good morning ladies.

Nanto - I'd forgotten about St Swithin's Day! It doesn't look very hopeful here - there's rain in the air! I need to get some washing done but not if it's going to rain.

Oma - well done - 6 hours good sleep and you should be frolicking around like a spring lamb today. Tell B, thanks for the compliment - he obviously recognises my talent for flambe-ing!

I've been wondering about Aggie, too. I do hope she's ok. She's another of our talented artists, and I'd love to see more of her work.

No plans for us today. Eva's paw it still too sore to take her out, but she's obviously feeling a bit better because she was beating up her toys last night.

Have a good (dry) day ladies.

                      Good morning ladies.

No rain here yesterday, so OH stayed dry Daisy I hope Eva's paw is less sore today.
Good grief Nan2, are we in for 40 days rain then?? Wet here overnight, and rain forecast most of the morning.
Oma, that sleep will have done you good. When is your op scheduled for?

No plans today. We think we may go out out for a drive somewhere. There are plenty of places open now, but you have to prebook, so we don't want to do that and have to walk round in heavy rain or lose our money. We will see how the day goes.

                      Take care everyone.

Very late getting up, not dressed yet. I am finding the pattern on the jumper I am knitting difficult to get it started and as I thought it would, it kept me awake trying to puzzle out why.
I am going to visit Sil's mother today at 1pm and I shall pop into M&S on the way back to collect a parcel, I will wear a face mask of course. My late husbands birthday today.

Lovely to hear from you Mimi, so sorry you are finding things difficult at the moment. Hope you will be feeling better soon.

I hope Eva will be able to go for a walk soon, at least she feels like murdering her toys.

Oma, 6 hours sleep, that will set you up for the day. Did you do anything differently?

Enfys, thinking about you and P, sending love.
