    Good morning Nan2, Minnie, Plant, Oma... and whoever is reading

    Glad to know bloods fine for B, Oma. Our kidneys do suffer from prescription drugs, and B has had to take a lot.
    Fish and chip night was great thank you . Both the food and the company!

    A lovely sunny day here, and forecast a nice weekend . OH is on the golf course, an 8.30 start today!
    No real plans for me. I must hoover but it will be a quick dash round, the day is too nice to spend on housework!

      Good morning one and all, including Miss Minnie Mouse in Nanto's cheery graphic. It's a beautiful sunny morning here, and already very warm.

      Oma - glad B's bloods ok, but do hope the other things can be sorted out. I hope you managed a reasonable night despite it being so warm. I woke up about 4 am and opened our bedroom window wider - it was so warm.

      Gem - glad you had a lovely evening. S is probably pleased she's playing golf early - it will be hot later! Don't do too much of that hoovering malarky - enjoy the sunshine.

      Plant - it sounds as though you're getting into bread making etc. What are you planting in the garden? I bet you're looking forward to seeing the little ones.

      Eva's paws still look sore with bits of dried skin attached. Oma - I've never used stinky stuff but everyone I know swears by it! Eva's not usually an itchy girl and I use Musher's Secret (wax) for her dry paw pads, so at the moment I'm putting a wound gel on the poorly bits and wax everywhere else!

      Nothing exciting happening in Daisy domain today - I'll do some painting if it isn't too hot in the summerhouse - or I might take it outside and paint in the garden.

          Gem - you can get booties for dogs! Sledge dogs like Storm often wear them for racing and you can use them for injuries. It's the first time Eva's ever had any trouble with her paws, so I'm hoping it's a one-off!

              Oma, good to hear B's bloods were ok,hope the other stuff can be sorted quickly.
              Yes we had fish and chips today.DS1 and GD2 joined us for dinner.

              Very warm today,we keep following the shade round the garden.

              2 mince and onion pies made and in the freezer. 1 pie will do us twice.

                It's been a beautiful day today, and our forecast for tomorrow is also good. Sunday looks a bit dodgy though.

                      Nan2, I know what your OH means, having just celebrated another birthday!

                      Very damp and overcast here, but I think the day is set to improve.

                              Morning all. I hope I find all well.

                              We haven't been very busy here the last few days . The garden is tidy , nothing much needs doing indoors so we've been rather lazy , we must make an effort today to get ourselves motivated. The butcher is arriving sometime this morning with my rather large order of chicken, beef, lamb etc . I haven't needed to buy any meat since lockdown so the freezer is looking empty at the moment. I rarely buy any meat from Tesco as the butcher gets most of his meat locally. I try to support local businesses when I can.

                              Its a dry and occasionally sunny here . OH has decided to cut the lawn and I have got some washing out on the line.

                              Looking forward to tomorrow. Its eldest GS's birthday, he will be 19, so DS DIL and GS are popping by . We haven't seen GS since lockdown.

                                Good morning ladies

                                A slow start for me another bad night , I went to bed at 5.30 and slept till 8.30
                                Had some toast then jumped in shower to waken myself up , did ironing as I didn't get it done yesterday ,
                                Haven't done much else apart from bed making

                                B sanding kitchen work tops down today doors closed but the dust still gets into sitting room so doing nothing till that's done .

                                I love my worktops but I wish I could afford to replace them for easier to maintain ones , B would have a heart attack if I suggest that these ones cost us a fortune so really couldn't change them yet

                                Gem photos were lovely

                                Daisy we have rain and cloud but warm , how's Eva's paws ? Is J due another eye jab ? Seems a while since his last one I was thinking about it during night xx

                                Mimi I wish we had a local butcher they are a rare breed up here

                                Nanto Birthdays come around a lot quicker these days .
