Oma, hope Storm had a lovely birthday.
I sometimes get leg/foot cramps in the night as well.

Gem,good to hear Auntie is ok.

The gardening was done for about 11.30ish, before it got too warm.

just going to check on the weather,i need to put some washing in tomorrow.

Happy 5th birthday to Storm. It doesn't seem that long since he was a chewy young puppy eating the furniture and wearing the cat flap frame round his neck! I bet he got some special treats.

The only thing I find with having a rescue dog I is not knowing their birthday. We think Eva is just about 7, but we're not sure, and her "Gotcha" day (the day we adopted her) is too close to Christmas to celebrate properly. As I was typing this she came upstairs and sat by me - I'm sure she wants to wish Storm a wooferly birthday.

Gem - I do hope you can see your Mum soon. If there are no infections in the care home I would hope they can set up a safe outdoor meeting area. I'm glad you remembered your supermarket order. I try and finish mine a whole day before I have to, in case I forget something. It gives me chance to remember.

Plant - How lovely to see your GS2. Your DD must be delighted to be seeing so many of her family this week-end. I hope GS2 and his girlfriend have a lovely, and safe, time in Italy.

          Good morning all.
An accurate picture of the weather there Nan2.
The forecast is much better this afternoon. OH is not pleased as it is this morning she is on the golf course!
I plan to go over to my mums and check on things, no real plans apart from that. I will pick up some veg from somewhere while I am out.

          Have a good day everyone.

Good morning, everyone. We are lucky enough to have sunshine this morning. I hope it clear up for Nanto and Gem later.

Nanto - we're having lamb steaks today, but don't know what I'll do with them yet. I Should be taking Eva on a group dog walk tonight, but she's cut her paw and I'm not sure if she'll be able to go. She's not limping, but it must be sore, poor girl.

I might do a bit of housework. Just a bit!

Not sure what is on the cards today! I got fed up with weeding yesterday but not sure if I fancy doing it today. OH has questionnaires from the memory clinic to fill in,so do I, before he has an online appointment. Will need a dictionary to work out the NHS language!
Still waiting to hear if D'S will be back this weekend. The flights back here are being cancelled( thanks to Boris's air bridges) but he's hopeful he can come from Budapest or Vienna. Fingers etc crossed.
Hazy sunshine here! Enjoy your day ladies whatever you're up to!
ps Did anyone else have swarms of flying ants yesterday?

Oma, I would be so fat if I lived with your B, delicious food he produces.

Nanto sorry you have rain, hope it clears up later. Enjoy your lamb cutlets.

I must do a bit of housework today but the garden calls me when it is fine. If I get a move on I might be able to do both. Will pop back later.

No flying ants here, WG. I hope your son gets back.
I make mushroom stroganoff with coconut milk Oma and its delicious! I first cooked it years ago for SIL1 who is vegan, but we loved it and cook it for ourselves now.
Poor Eva . I hope her paw heals soon Daisy.
Leave the housework and enjoy the garden Plant.

Daisy,i just fried dry fried our lamb steaks. Very nice they were.

WeeGranny,we didn't have any flying ants, but heard about them on the news.
Apparantly, they were in the southern half of the country.

When I went to my mum's house earlier via Tesco , the traffic was at pre-lockdown busyness! All our family, all our friends apart from those in the NHS, are still working at home. How can it be so busy??!!

My DD when she bought her first house a old Victorian terrace house was plagued with flying Ants they were nesting under the front step , they had to have someone come take the step out and then a man came out dug out the nest and killed them off , they swarmed like bees so all the windows and door had to be kept closed for a few hours
