Just reading the posts, I have had a busy day, made coffee for the coffee morning then been to the physio this afternoon, all my muscles were locked! Manual therapist and feeling much easier now.

We have the flying ants, huge ones as well this summer. I have just been for coffee next door, neighbour is 77 today. Did I tell you the neighbour that fell? off the balcony died last Wednesday? It is his cremation on Wednesday afternoon.

Roads are busy here as well Gem, especially here in the village, I don't know if it is with the people working from home then going out shopping. A lot have been working all the Covid months though.

I have just read that there were 130 positively tested cases of covid in the village and 15 deaths. That is from March to the present time.

WeeGranny - we had flying ants in the greenhouse a few days ago. A lot of them got caught up in cobwebs, and it was a dull, cool day, not the weather they usually swarm in. I do hope you DS gets home to you ok. I can imagine filling in those forms isn't easy, but perhaps it means your OH is finally going to get some attention and help.

Gem - I've been wondering why the traffic seems so busy again, too.

Oma - the mushroom stroganoff sounds wonderful. Gem - I'm sure your version is too, but I really don't like coconut. It seems these days so many recipes use it.

Lizzie - I'm sad to hear about your neighbour. His poor wife must be distraught. Glad to hear you're feeling better after your physio today - was it all that decorating and DIY you did?

Good morning, no Daisy, not the decorating, a movement in bed the physio thinks. I hope to go back to the gym on Friday, one of the men out of our group mailed me to ask where I was and tell me it is not busy at our usual time of 7am so I will try and get booked in for Friday morning.

WeeGranny, I love the boring wholemeal bread!

Rain forecast here later this morning. I went to the neighbours next door for coffee yesterday afternoon, it was his birthday, they are still planning on going to Spain on holiday in August with their youngest daughter and family, I don't think I would.

                  Lizzie,sad about your neighbour.

WG, bread looks lovely. Hubby would be cutting doorsteps off that.

Not a bad morning.its dry and bright.

Salad with scampi for dinner today.

Good morning all you early risers and those who call in later.

Nanto - I like that idea of a new morning being a new beginning. It's a reminder we can do and be whatever we want, although I think my chances of becoming an astrophysicist are quite slim.

It's dull here this morning, but quite warm, and it's rained overnight.

Lizzie - I'm glad the problems wasn't caused by the decorating - you've done such a good job and are such a versatile DIY-er it would be a pity if you end up suffering for using your skills. Good to hear you can get back to the gym safely now.

Oma - oooh, I could use sour cream then. I think I put mushrooms on my Sainsbury's order so I'll have to have a go. Would you share your recipe (or B's) with me please?

WeeGranny - wholemeal bread isn't boring - it's my favourite and that looks just perfect. I usually end up making 50/50 on a quick programme on the breadmaker, but a proper 100% slow-baked one is much better. As you say, a chunk of extra mature cheddar - bliss.

Let's hope everyone's flying ants have flown off to distant places. I think any insects swarming are a bit alarming, even if they don't bother you on a one-to-one basis.

Dinner tonight will be a surprise in the Daisy household. It will be whatever is the shortest dated item in today's order. What we eat and when is governed by Use by dates these days.

Our much-delayed parcel arrived today - it's a new umbrella for the garden. At the moment it's sitting in the hall, too heavy for me to help OH carry it through.

                      Good morning all.

Dry and bright here too Nan2.
Oma, OH didn't get wet on the golf course yesterday. She did last week though!
Lizzie, I wouldn't want to fly just yet either.

SIL is on his way to drop off GS1. We have another art project to do. DD will collect him later. Another golf day for OH.

I had better get on and have breakfast!

                        Morning ladies,
Nanto I could eat the salad but allergic to shell fish so couldn't have the Scampi

Lizzie take it slow at the gym or you will be back to square one xx

                        Overcast but very stuffy
Had very little sleep last night didn't know where to put myself , started in our bed then spare bed , came downstairs and read my book for couple hours eyes drooping so thought I would just sleep on sofa save going upstairs , as soon as I lay down I was wide awake again
Eventually went back to our bed at 5 then in spare bed at 6 dozed off till 7.30 .

I hate nights like that I don't know what it is but it makes me feel very uneasy

How are we all this morning ? I will pop by later xx

All this talk of food, makes me want to bake again. I have a bread machine but have only used it for banana bread/cake recently. I used to make a lot of pitta breads for No3 and No4 GC when I looked after them, might have another go.

Lizzie take care of that back.

Oma, another bad night for you, is your brain so active it will not switch off?

Wool arrived for my next knitting project, I am going to make a jumper for GGS, will get started on that today after I have dusted the bedroom and cleaned the bathroom. I have a sweeping job to do in the courtyard, that can wait.

                              Hello ladies.
I am just popping by to let you know that I haven't been posting for a while.
I am physically well but I am finding it hard to remain upbeat and chatty. Deamons are running through my mind and its taking all my energy to battle with them so please don't think I have forgotten all of you .

Enfys you are in my thoughts x

                              Oma how is B now

And for anyone else going through a difficult time you are all in my thoughts.

I will pop by but not necessarily post anything.

Love to all of you x
Bring me sunshine in your smile.
