Avo we have a Induction hob it's so easy as long as you have right size pan on each hob for example a small milk pan won't heat on the largest hob. Otherwise easiest and cleanest we have ever had. A doddle to clean too 😂

Good morning everyone.
Oh your poor knees Oma ☹️
I love jacket potatoes Nan2.
I hope the induction hob is a success Avo.
WG, have you found your slippers yet!?
Daisy I hope your OH's eye is less sore today.
Plant, your Dr sounds lovely.
Thinking of Nana today.
This morning is my monthly reflexology treatment. I hope it gives my immune system a kick. This is the 3rd if not 4th week now. DD1 is now fully recovered, so me soon hopefully!
This afternoon in the Dr for my mum's BP retake, due to it being high at her review. She approaches this with much dread I hope it's ok so we can put it behind us.
I will invite her here for tea afterwards. I'll do her shopping today too, giving me a nice free day tomorrow.
Have a good day everyone.

Oh Oma, your poor knees, hope they are feeling better today
Gem, enjoy your reflexology, do you take vitamin D, if not you might like to get some. My Dr jokingly said it should be put in the water supply, most of us need some Vit. D. I hope your mother's blood pressure is okay. Do they take it more than once, she might be suffering from white coat syndrome
No frost here today but very dull. WI for me this morning, speaker sounds good, we are having a Ploughmans lunch after prepared by the committeeWhat is life if full of care we have no time to stand and stare

Good morning everyone. What a lovely inspirational graphic, Nanto. Mmmm, jacket potatoes - if we weren't going out for lunch I'd be on my way round to yours.
Nana - good luck for today. I know your appointment isn't till later, but I hope things aren't too bad so far. xx
Oma - poor knees. You really do need some sleep as well.
WG - I hope you find your slippers. Cooper (DS2's dog) very kindly took my OH a pair of rather grubby socks yesterday - one at a time. He'd carefully removed them from OH's walking boots. Cooper obviously realised they needed a wash!
Gem - enjoy your reflexology - you really do need some relaxation at the moment. Hope your Mum's BP check goes smoothly.
OH's eye is still sore, but we're going out for coffee and lunch and giving friends a lift, so I'll drive. It means I'll have to go and tidy my car to make it less like a hairy dog-wagon, so I'll have to get a move on.
I hope everyone's day goes to plan. See you later.
EDIT
Plant - Vit. D advice is good, and knowledgeable ladies here suggested zinc to me some years ago when I was under the weather and it really helped - I still take it. Enjoy your WI and lunch. x"Joy is what happens to us when we allow ourselves to recognise how good things really are. "

Morning ladies , I got just under 3 hours this morning
Been out to our shopping mall did shopping for my Freezer and bumped into the world and his wife ,
Isnt it always the case when all you want to do is shop and get home , although I was thrilled to pop into some friends we haven't seen for quite a while since they retired they spend a lot of time in their static caravan ,
My knees were crying out for rest , its the cold weather im thinking about wearing woolen tights under my trousers when we go out in the cold now .
Daisy have a lovely lunch hope J's eye doesn't spoil it for him xx
Gem Vit D should be taken by everyone this time of year my Dr recommends from October to at least April , enjoy your reflexology I hope you feel renewed after xx
Plant what is the talk about today ?
Nanto I love Jacket potato with spicy beans on them mmm
Hope everyone and OH's are doing ok have a good day ladies xxxIm not fat just 6ft too small

Afternoon all .
My appointment at the well woman clinic was cancelled via text message first thing this morning . No reason was given just told to rebook another day. It will have to wait till after Christmas now as I have lot on for the next few weeks.
We went to town with the idea of doing some Christmas shopping . I went into Boots to get some No7 make up that was on offer from £50 to £25. OH asked was it for DD or DIL , neither I said its for me !
We then went to the Pandora shop to buy DIL a charm but the one we wanted was out of stock so I will have to get it from their online shop.
I did manage to get a book for OH whilst his back was turned .
Oma , I sympathise with you and your knees only with me its my fingers and toes , they were very painful when I was out doors we are obviously both suited to warmer conditions
I wonder how Nana is
Bring me sunshine in your smile.

Brrrr, it’s been freezing today. I had a busy morning then have been dogsitting at DDs. Just got home and the wind is icy.
Plant, that was a interesting talk for you. I would have enjoyed that. We have our WI Christmas lunch next week, should be good.
Oma, ouch for your knees. I have one dodgy one but it hasn’t been too bad recently.
We have the Macmillan nurse coming to talk to us tomorrow, not sure what to expect, hope it’s not all too depressing. DH is doing very well, he has been very busy and is generally feeling very well. What a difference no chemo makes.

Oma - thank you for passing on Nana's message. I'm sure she exhausted as well. I hope she can sleep well tonight.
Enfys - I think the Macmillan Nurse will be positive and helpful. I'm so glad P is doing well and enjoying being busy. We went to the Tyrrells Ford Hotel for lunch and it didn't feel too cold - until we came out about 2.30! Brrrr .......
Mimi - you're making we think I ought to be out shopping for That Event!
Plant - I would have found the talk interesting too.
After a lazy day today, I'm out for lunch again tomorrow. I don't know how I cope with this whirl of social activity!!! I'll manage somehow. Poor OH has a trip to a specialist dentist to sort out a gum problem. I hope it's not too painful, especially as he's still recovering from his eye injection.

Nana will need a good rest and to be kind to herself I'm sure Oma. Thanks for letting us know.
Annoying when appointments are cancelled at short notice Mimi. At least as it's something routine you can just leave it until after Christmas.
I don't think it will be depressing tomorrow Enfys, they will want to support you both .
Thank you for the vitamin D advice ladies. I will get some!
Well today was a bit stressful! DD2 messaged the family What's App group this morning to tell us that during the night GS2 was taken to A&E, then admitted, due to a severe nosebleed which wouldn't stop. I have written all about it on YEO so won't repeat. Very worrying and stressful for us all, but he is home now.
My mum was very anxious about her Dr's appointment to recheck her BP. Not helped by the fact the Dr was overrunning and we waited almost an hour to see him. Anyway it was all ok as he declared her BP perfect😊 She reacted as one would if diagnosed with a terminal illness then told you would live! She treated us all to celebratory fish and chips at our house!
