Good evening everyone.

It's been bright and very sunny here today, but bitterly cold. No snow, though! I feel really tired again, and I'm sure it's the cold weather - I've been out for most of the day, although a run with Eva and Cooper in the paddock didn't last long - Eva was very wound up and kept barking at Cooper so she got sent back to the car in disgrace! It's one of those 'two steps backwards' days for her.

I'm going to catch up on the chores tomorrow. Well, that's the plan!!

WG - I'm glad your back is less painful. Did you enjoy your curry?

I didn't realise there had been snow in places. Now, ladies, no arguments over who has built the biggest snowman!

Oma - putting a single bed in the spare room sounds sensible. I'm thinking of doing the same for my study/the GC's bedroom - only with stacking beds as we usually need two beds at a time!

Clover - I'd like to see Bohemian Rhapsody. It must have felt like a private viewing with only two other people there.

Gem - my OH is out tonight, but all I want to do this weather is curl up by the wood burner.

Day out was really good. Went to Cannon Hall Farm & had lunch & got a meat and potato pie from their farm shop for tomoro's lunch. Last of the big spenders🤣Didn't go into the farm tho today.

Will collect folic acid tabs tomoro as the surgery rang today to say my iron is low too so have sent a prescription through for that too. I have yet to find an iron tablet to suit me. No wonder I feel so very tired. Oma I hope they do give me a boost.

Docs tomoro to get a skin thing checked. Enfys I'm so pleased P did so well.

Daisy I was thinking of the two bed thing, the one that pulls out from below the other . That way there is always the option if needed

Nana a day out does you good , I love a farm shop they never cheap but have lovely stuff, sadly the nearest to us is almost 45 -60 mins away so have to plan when we are going and have lunch there when we do

Nice to hear both ladies were on form Gem must have been one of those days as my MIL was very chirpy today for a change no moans or complaints either .

Sitting hear with the heating on and a blanket over me its a very cold night still snow lying I think we are in for more ,

Good morning all. Haven’t seen what the weathers doing this morning although I’ve been up for ages. Going out for breakfast with DD and GD soon then on to do some shopping, a nice girlie morning.

It's cold here, but not as cold as forecast.
GS2 should be here in a while, then it is GD from school. Looking forward to seeing them both
Just a chicken and mushroom pasta bake for tea, which I will make this morning as it is a bit manic once we get in from school, and I want to spend time with GD, not cooking!

I hope Mimi is well, she seems to have been quiet recently.

Good morning early birds and those who come later.

Nanto - that pot of coffee looks very welcoming - just the thing for a frosty morning. It's quite cold here and the grass is white with frost. I didn't get up until 8 am and the birds were almost tapping on the windows asking for breakfast. That's the only trouble when you feed them - you ca't suddenly stop.

Cannon Hall sounds as though it's the 'in' place to go in your area, Nana and Nanto. I'm sure the outing did you good, Nana, and I hope the vit tabs make you feel better, although I suppose it takes some time for them to work.

Enfys - enjoy your morning with DD and GD - you will enjoy having GD back. Is she still a bit jet lagged? Has she got any plans for the future?

Gem - I bet GS2 and GD will enjoy that pasta bake. If GD is like our GDs she will be hungry after school.

Oma - did you sleep ok last night? I've started a thread about stacking beds.

A day at home for me today - so far! I really must get on with some chores.

Been very busy for the last two days so I feel today I must catch up with your news. I am going food shopping this afternoon, meeting up with GD1. We have a farm shop quite close, they sell some good stuff and pick your own fruit and veg.

Have a nice girlie time with your DD and GD Enfys. I expect your GD has a lot to tell you about her trip.

I hope the iron will act quickly Nana to give you some more energy.

I would love to see Bohemian Rhapsody, I was introduced to Queen by me son. Very sad

I went to see The Favourite yesterday, it won awards but not really my sort of film, very bawdy, but maybe that is how they behaved then. Olivia Coleman was very good playing Queen Mary. My friend/neighbour wanted to see it and as it was in town we went on the bus, I was frozen when we got back and found it very difficult to walk down our road in the dark, fortunately I had a torch in my bag. My walking in the dark is very bad, my body sort of freezes when I can't see ahead of me. I know the bus is free for us but I would rather of driven to the out of town cinema and we could have had lunch in John Lewis. I feel too that public transport is where you pick up colds.

Their house is always lovely and warm.
Dad used to be skinny with the heating,but we all nagged him,so now it's always warm.

Afternoon ladies I too have had a couple of busy days Plant I don’t know where time goes, but I am very nervous walking in a dark area , both for walking and anyone being in the dark
Catching up with news glad to hear how well Mr P is doing well done to him, and gives Enfys some time to relax and enjoy her family
Gem I can’t change the conservatory the glass is full length from top to bottoms with a glass roof , and we have a picture window from ceiling to floor in the dining room that looks into the conservatory , just too much work plus the drainage system
Nana we have said we wI’ll be going to Cannon Hall love the restaurant there and the farm shop
Its Baltic here but no snow as yet
Hope all is ok with everybody and that you have nap this afternoon 🙂
