Just got on before the end of the day. Had to fit my dental app't in between house alarm & gas yearly check. I finally had the permanent crown put on, so let's hope it stays on.
Glad to hear your ankle is improving Oma. Clover I keep a list of tradesmen too. It does come in handy. Pleased you all seem to be ok. Enfys how are you....hope you're alright.
Busy tomoro. Blood test again as the one last week showed Hb is low. Our pooch is booked in for a cut & blow dry + a manicure 😉 Then I need to go into town for a gift for my GD's birthday. Wish me luck. Ha."Good friends help you to find important things when you have lost them....your smile, your hope, and your courage."

Daisy,well done to GD.
Nana, a busy day for you today.
Plumber coming this afternoon to put new downstairs loo in.
Hubby was going to do it, but for how much plumber is charging it wasn't worth it.
Slow cooker is on doing it's thing. Meat, potatoes and veg in.
Some will be served as stews with dumplings or Yorkshire puddings.
Some of it will be made into pies.Sometimes I forget to like posts, but that doesn't mean I don't like them.

Good morning ladies.
A busy day ahead for you Nana!
Things like loos are probably best left to plumbers Nan2, especially as you say he isn't charging much.
Golf day for OH, GS2 from school for me.
I will leave early to go for him, and call into the shopping park on the way. I have money from my mum for perfume for Christmas, which I haven't bought yet.
Have a good day everyone.“A grandchild fills a space in your heart that you never knew was empty.” – Unknown

Good morning, very cold here this morning.
The first of many hospital appointments today, the next 3 days will be backwards and forwards to the hospital. Luckily we don’t live far away and I must fit in a visit to the supermarket too. So no other plans for this week. Just forgot, haircut for me tomorrow too.
When I started my sock knitting journey I joined a FB group and some of us are meeting up at the local garden centre on Saturday morning, which should be good. Have a good day and keep warm."Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened." - Dr Seuss

Enfys have a lovely meet-up with your fellow knitters. Hope hospital visits go well for P.
Loo fitting is best left to the experts Nanto, hope it goes well
Not having to go out today so bathrooms are going to get a clean and I need to defrost the small freezer in the garage, the door must have been left slightly open and then shut again so now the moisture has frosted it up I can hardly pull out the drawers. Not looking forward to being in a cold garage defrosting a freezer. What is life if full of care we have no time to stand and stare

Oma, I'm not sure! I will go to the big branch of Boots and sniff a few out before deciding
Enfys, anything you can do for yourself like meeting your new knitting group friends, is so useful when appointments seem to be taking over. You and OH should be kind to yourselves too, treat yourselves to meals out or whatever makes you happy.(when I was going back and forth daily for radiotherapy for 3 weeks, a McDonalds takeway milk shake was one of our little cheer up pleasures )“A grandchild fills a space in your heart that you never knew was empty.” – Unknown

A quick hello from me, while Cooper is recovering from a good run in the paddock with Eva. I’ve stayed at their house today to give Eva a break after her busy Sunday plus yesterday.
Enfys, I hope everything goes as smoothly as possible for P, and I’m sure you will enjoy meeting up with fellow knitters.
Will catch up properly later! 😘"Joy is what happens to us when we allow ourselves to recognise how good things really are. "

Evening ladies.
Not a lot gone on today.
Work this morning. My “lady” is still feeling poorly after her fall. She thinks she might have cracked a rib. Her sister was going to take her to the doctors this afternoon.I had to apologise to them that I couldn’t “babysit” their disabled sister as I often do as it was a last minute appointment and I’d booked a Tesco delivery at the crucial time.Unfortunatly OH couldn’t really deal with ithe delivery on his own though he does help me with it.
I hope everyone’s day has gone smoothly.
Enfys I hope P’s appointments go well. It’s lucky you don’t live too far from the hospital.Hope you enjoyed the knitting group.

Thank you, Clover. Hope your lady hasn’t cracked a rib, that’s so painful. You are very kind to look after the other sister, I’m sure they appreciate it.
Appointment went ok-ish. When P went to check in they had no record of the appointment until she looked further and said it had been cancelled! She was very helpful and went off to check with the doctor in clinic. Came back and said he would see us, they had had a ‘no show’ so could fit us in. Glad they did, as P has been quite breathless lately and we didn’t know if it was the chemo meds or heart related. Doctor said, to be on the safe side, he would arrange a heart MRI to check that the stent was still ok and to See if the small clot P had had near the Heart was still there. Otherwise he felt all was OK, but I’m pleased he is taking no chances. Just something else to add to the list 😀
Just seen on the news the firm selling Brexit Boxes...£300!, Words fail me 😷

Clover, you can't be everywhere at once , I'm sure your ladies understand.
We had to come back here after school, which wasn't the plan, as I didn't have the right key for DD's house! They changed the lock at Christmas, and DD gave me the new key when we were out to lunch together one day. I put it in a zipped compartment of my bag, and promptly forgot about it.
It is now on my keyring“A grandchild fills a space in your heart that you never knew was empty.” – Unknown

Envy’s that was fortunate you could get fitted in at the hospital.I can’t understand people being a “no show”especially when sometimes you have to wait ages to get an appointment in the first place
Gem how annoying and frustrating about the key.I thought you were going to say it didn’t fit.
Nanto I’m glad you’re nearly a two loo house again
