      Good morning everyone.

It feels milder here too Nan2.
I was imagining the cats at Center Parks then Oma
I hope you, and Eva, don't get too boggy Daisy.

Today we will deliver the newslettters, and visit my auntie. I may finish writing my Christmas cards too.

      Have a good Sunday everyone.

We live on quite high ground so not too much standing water but the leaves from the beech trees are like a carpet in our garden. I think I am going out to lunch with the family and sil's mother today, they were busy yesterday. I really need to get on with my Christmas card writing but with three birthdays coming up I need to get two cards and wrap their presents.

I thought the cats were at Center Parks too Gemini. Hope you get the newsletters delivered in the dry and I am sure Auntie will be very pleased to have a visit from you.

Hope Libras kitchen fitting goes well tomorrow.

Oma - I'm sure the cats would have loved Center Park!

I saw a photo on FB of Libra's kitchen all neatly boxed up. I do hope the fitting goes smoothly for her. Oma, do tell her we're thinking about her. xx

I think it's amazing that I've written some Christmas cards already - the ones that need to be air mailed, so not a lot!

Gem - good to get the deliveries done in the dry. I do hope your auntie is feeling a bit better.

Plant - I can imagine the beech leaves are quite a hazard when they're wet- do be careful walking on them. I've got two birthdays to think about - my GD2's 5th on the 27th and my Goddaughter's 30th on the 28th, but being after Christmas lulls me into a false sense of security!

The allotment was very wet, but has been worse. Most of it is covered in black sheeting. We spread the polytunnel cover out on the sheeting and weighed it down with pallets. There was a really good crop of curly kale just waiting to the harvested, but it was covered in white flies and I didn't want to bring it home without washing the leaves clean first, but I know I'd have got soaked as well! We then took Eva up to the paddock for a good run, and are glad to get back for a sit down and a sandwich. The lamb stew in the slow cooker smelled very appetising when we came in.

            Good afternoon ladies.
We have just finished moving most of our kitchen into the spare room, all we have now is the odd cup and plate. As for the fridge, freezer, washing machine and cooker.we aren't able to move those ourselves the kitchen fitters will move them for us. The only issues we had was getting the big table through the kitchen door frame. We had to take the table out through the back door, around the outside of the flat and bring it through the front door just so as we could get it into the spare room. I did feel a fool.
Libra I notice you are having a new kitchen also. Along with a new kitchen, we are having an electric update with strip lighting ( old-fashioned sort at the mo ). We are having an outside light put in. The old floor ( inherited from the previous lady who lived here ) pulled up with a new floor put down. Keep telling my self that it will be lovely when it's done.

Daisy, I hope to get some cards written some time this week so that I can get them to the scouts for local delivery.
We had beef stew done in the slow cooker, great minds obviously think alike!

            Have a good day everyone
Bring me sunshine in your smile.

Two birthdays and our wedding anniversary this month. Not good family planning on our part!

Lovely sunshine after overnight rain here, still a bit on the windy side but very mild.

Not sure what we're doing for the rest of the day nor what we're having for dinner! We had a roast in the week, so it won't be that.

Hope all the house renovations go well and run to time. I'm still enjoying my new kitchen!

Think SiL will enjoy having his pig and eating it!

Mimi, it will be lovely when it is done. Upheaval is never fun but you will be glad in the end. How is the tom cat odour?!

Auntie was mostly good Daisy thank you. I will update on that thread.
I have wrapped the presents for the 2 friends who I am meeting tomorrow night and wrapped all DD3 and SIL's and boxed them. I will post it this week, maybe tomorrow.
Some cards are written but quite a few more to do.
Next door have their Christmas tree up and lights in the window. We are lagging behind
As we have the GC from Thursday until Saturday this week we will leave the decorations until they leave.
We may put the outside ones up though, and buy the tree.

Moan away Nan2, I would with as little sleep as you get

I know I keep saying I am delivering those newsletters but this morning I really am! Then going to mum's this afternoon.

So sorry to hear that Qwerty, I think we could do with some frosty weather to kill off these bugs. Take care of yourself.

                                Morning.

Qwerty so sorry you’ve got the lurgy. Look after yourself then you’ll be fighting fit for Christmas.

Hope the kitchen fittings go well.A real upheaval but great to look forward to now you’ve done all you can to get ready.

I bought my Christmas stamps and got out the cards so must make a start on them. At last I got DD and SIL’s present requests, just waiting now for DGDs I think I mentioned DGS’s request for Union Jack bedding and I’ve got that. Apparently he said if we couldn’t get Union Jack American or then Canadian would do.

Very heavy rain here earlier on but it has eased a bit now.

Hope you all have a stress free day
