Today we are going out for lunch with our friends C and P. We had a seaside day together just before Christmas, another catch up is due now.
I think DD3 and I are having a video call later. I have post from her house to show her!

We're off to see GS2 soon - it's his actual birthday tomorrow, but Monday's not a good day for birthday-ing is it! Looking forward to seeing the family - not seen them since Christmas.

Nanto - I'm leaving behind a basket full of ironing - but I could drop it off to keep yours company if you like!

A walk is next on the day’s agenda for us then I’m not sure what. I know there are lots of things I should be doing but can’t seem to summon up the energy.

Nothing planned for me today, I didn't get up until 10.30, went into a deep dreamy sleep after 7.00. Lovely and sunny. Had a nice lunch out with the family yesterday. Sil's mother is getting very frail at 91 but has just bought a new bed and is going with another son and his wife today to TKMax to find a new handbag!

I have the dryer going so ironing later for me too , been for fresh bread but apart from that a quiet day .

Managed to get some cleaning done, had to borrow Dyson from family next door, mine is playing up, will get in touch with Dyson tomorrow. My upright cleaner makes my back ache. Got a busy week this week so at least it's done. Just the bathrooms to do later in the week. GD1 will be very down this week, new boyfriend is off on holiday for a week.

Very mild here today. We had a lazy morning after a very pleasant evening at our friends las night, She cooked a lovely meal, we played cards and generally just had a laugh, did us both the world of good. Then this morning GD and DD came over for coffee, more chat and she (GD) took a fancy to the socks I am knitting so I said she can have them when they are finished. Off to the charity shop in the morning with a boot load of stuff.

Plant our Dyson stick has been playing up. Dyson are sending a new battery.

We had a lovely lunch in a country pub with our friends,then back to theirs for coffee afterwards.

Before Christmas my Dyson was not holding its charge and they were sending a engineer out but he had a family bereavement so instead of having to wait for another engineer they sent a new Dyson out to me , mine was out of warranty so they didn't have to do that , They give good customer service ,
Good friends and laughter make everything feel less of a problem , good to hear both Gem & Enfys have had nice times with friends

Plant - you're such a busy lady, you deserve a lie in from time to time.

Clover - it seems nearly everyone I talk to at the moment feels low or down in the dumps and not like doing anything. I think the time of year has a lot to do with it as well as everything else tht's going on in your life. xx

We've had a lovely day with GS2 and family. His mum had done a very nice lunch and then GS2 opened his presents before we had cake etc. We had a good chat with all the other grandparents as well, so lots of laughter and a few glasses of wine, apart from OH who was driving.

We have had our Dyson stick almost 2 years and it has been fine until 3 or 4 weeks ago.

My car goes in for it's MOT in the morning, so I probably won't check in here until we have dropped it off.
