        Good morning 😊

Thanks Nan2 and Oma! We are taking it in a few minutes. I have had it 8 years now and it was 6 years old when I got it. It has passed all MOTs so far!

Back later for breakfast and catch up when my car is being put through it's paces.

Going to JL this morning to return that coat and bowls this afternoon. GS brought GGS in to see me yesterday, he had the pullover on that I had knitted him and a little top I bought to go under it. Disappointed that it will not fit him for long, should really have knitted the next size but it did look very nice I must say.

                Morning all.

No sun here but no rain either.

I’ve just scrubbed out the bird baths and now a blackbird is paddling in the tipped out foamy water.

I have also arranged a tree surgeon to come and see the trees at the bottom of the garden. They have started to lean on the fence so have obviously moved. The problem is they overhang a public path neighbour’s garden and the school field so I fear it will be a major job to sort them out (and expensive!)Access is also a problem In the “old days” G would have helped sort it out but now he shows no interest. At times like this I feel so on my own.

Hope you all have a lovely day. My ironing is still undone

                  Good morning again

Your ironing methods sounds like mine Clover.
I know it must be so hard to take all these decisions and actions alone now. You are coping well though, and getting things done. I hope it isn't as expensive as you fear to get the trees done. Will you get a couple of quotes?

The sun shone here for a few minutes too Sunshine, but now it is dull!

Little ones grow so quickly don't they Plant? I'm sure he will get plenty of wear out of it while it still fits him.

Thanks for the good wishes for my car!
We told them I need it for this afternoon, so they will do it this morning.
I have my client to go to at 4.30, so need the car for that. Nothing much planned apart from that.
I will tidy my therapy room, as it was used as a Christmas storage room until all went back into the loft. I am having a reflexology treatment on Wednesday and as I have my own therapy room, that is where I have it, of course!

I paid the deposit on next year's Florida villa this morning
                  The Dyson battery arrived too.

Morning all what a hectic but pleasant weekend, twins well behaved the odd fight lol, but all in all pretty good, had a lovely Sunday lunch yesterday! devil of a job keeping it all warm 🤨 kids baked a chocolate cake Saturday but there seemed more round Js mouth than was in the bowl
Today a clean up session just left it all last night
Gem hope the mot went well
Clover although we have been lucky healthwise , we have started writing phone numbers down like the tree surgeon etc it might be an idea for those of us that are less organised to do, we never know what life is going to throw at us
Lots of sun here Sunshine but not the sort that dries your washing but small mercies and all that
Plant it’s lovely when the little ones are wearing the garments they have had made for them 😀
How Is the ankle today Oma ?

Sounds like a good family gathering Qwerty, I am sure they enjoyed the chocolate cake.

Oma, hope the ankle is getting stronger.

Clover, it is a lot on your shoulders now G isn't up to making decisions, at least I have the family next door if I want some advice.

Lovely and sunny here too, just got back from JL, I took the coat back, they only had my size in brown fleck. GD1 got some euros from them for her trip to Barcelona.

It sounds as though a lot of us have had busy week-ends, and the 'working' week sounds much the same.

Plant - how lovely to see your little GGS wearing the outfit. I hope you can get a replacement for your coat.

Oma - I hope you've not been chasing round with the hound on that poorly ankle.

Gem - fingers crossed your car passes.

Sunshine - if we had sun here I must have missed it. But at least it's dry and not too cold.

Qwerty - what a busy week-end, but a lot of fun.

Clover - good luck with the trees. I hope it's not as big a job as you think. I still haven't done my ironing either.

Bluebell, my lovely little car, passed her test again
Well, she failed first time, as one bulb needed redirecting and a bulb next to the number plate replacing. They did those and she passed.
£41 including the bulb, I love our garage!!

The sun has been in and out all day. My neighbour over the road is pruning all his rose bushes. OH is making a start on the landing ceiling

Gem, good news about the car. Always a relief when it passes.
Had quite a bit of sun today, but it's just clouded over.

Clover, hope you get the trees sorted. I must admit,i'm not a tree lover.

Gem - well done to Bluebell! Good to be getting on with the decorating as well.

We missed out on the sunshine today, and it seemed to get colder as the day wore on. I need to get on with pruning apple trees and roses! But not until it's warm enough for me not to freeze on the spot!

Oma, I'm glad your ankle is feeing better, but don't overdo things!

It's been my usual busy Monday. GD2 came home from school excited and happy after the first after-school session of the term. She's chosen to do gymnastics and this morning she was worried about being able to do it. She's close to being double-jointed (discovered during a hospital check up for a painful leg.) and we had all reassured her she would be able to do it. It's lovely to see her so pleased and proud of herself.
