    Good morning everyone.

Oma, your MIL needs a sergeant major rather than school teacher to keep her in order!

Daisy, I hope you all have good day out.

Did you have a good night out Nan2?

Little E and GS2 had a good afternoon and we eventually got little E to bed
Daddy is picking him up before my 11am aqua class. OH has her monthly bone infusion this morning or I would leave him with her.

We had a good time last night. There was about 50 of us there.

This afternoon we are at a funeral, for the Dad of one our Brother in laws.
He was a nice chap, only lived a couple of streets away from us,and used to come for a cuppa and a chat.

      No other plans for today.

Gem, hope all goes well for OH today.

Daisy, hope you all enjoy the exhibition.

Feels a bit warmer today, but still damp.

        Morning ladies

        Gem
I hope S isn't there long and she's ok afterwards,
        Enjoy your Aqua,
How is DD today? I hope she had a good night's sleep.

        Daisy
What a lovely day out with your girls,
Of course cake must be involved too😁
Hope Js car passes hts MOT

        Nanto
It sounds like you all had a thoroughly good night out ,
Shame it's a sad occasion today though.

I have washed all my doors and skirtings this morning,

I'm finding it hard to bend over now I get dizzy and I can't get on my knees to do the skirting ,
        So I improvised,

I have one of those flash dusters so I dipped it in cleaning solution squeezed it out,
and as it has a extendable handle I was able to clean them with no bending and even the tops of the doors without getting the step ladders out,
When needs must as they say😁

I need to go to get water and toothpaste this morning,
Apart from that nothing else needs doing ,
B has a few jobs to get on with,

Oma, I can’t remember where your Mil is now. It’s a bit like that song. In, out, shake it all about. Sorry I must not be unkind. I have a very good cleaner once a fortnight. She couldn’t come last week, should have come early this week. Messaged, could she come today, now I have a message to ask could she come tomorrow. I suppose the school holiday has put her out, we shall see.

Gemini, I hope your DD is having a good day. S also, I hope all goes well for her.

Plant she is at home at the moment 😁

The school holidays are awkward when your working and have children

At the moment Martin & Clare are having to juggle work as Finn has chickenpox so can't go to pre school ,

Normally Clare's Mam would have him but typically she is on holiday for two weeks.

I hope your cleaner can come tomorrow,
Maybe she has help with childcare on a weekend.

Finally got around to sorting the drawers out in my wardrobe,
            I have been ruthless,
Underwear, socks old PJs all in the bin,
I also put a couple of old blouses I usually keep for when I decorate in .
I then started on Bs Underwear drawer,
He definitely needs new socks and pants now 😁

Then I came downstairs and decided as it's nice and sunny to wash the front door and step down,
I was going to do the back as well but by then my shoulder was complaining
            so I have stopped.

B has just received a parking ticket for when he broke down, beside the bus stop at the hospital.
He phoned but you have to put it in writing or email,
He has emailed them and pointed out that if they look at the cameras at the time they would see the RAC in attendance.

Today was a good day as far as funerals go. I don't mean that disrespectfully.
It was a blessing he died, he wasn't living, just existing.

Oma, hope B gets the parking ticket cancelled.

Gem, hope OH is ok and hope DD is getting some rest.

Just trying to catch up with everyone.

Nanto, sometimes a party just goes really well. I'm glad you enjoyed it, although it must have been a contrast with the funeral today.

Gem, I hope S is ok after her treatment today. Does she need to take it easy for a day or so afterwards? How did the biscuit making go, and are there any left?

Oma, the Flash mop is a good idea for awkward places that are too high or too low, but I hope you haven't overdone it and made your shoulder painful again. I hope B sorts out the parking ticket. You can't choose where your car breaks down. You've certainly had a good sort out. I hope B is ok for socks and undies tomorrow!

Poor little Finn having chickenpox. I hope he's not too poorly with it. It certainly makes it harder for Mum and Dad juggling work.

Plant, I do hope your cleaner turns up tomorrow. You need someone you can depend on, but everyone has crises in their lives at times.

We have had a good day out with our GDs. The journey to Blandford was stop/start and very slow, so we went for lunch first. It was lovey to sit and relax with the girls, and extra entertainment was provided by GD2, who chose spag bol - and it was a huge portion! She came away with a doggy bag!

The museum was fascinating and brilliant, (GD1) very interesting (me), ok in places (GD2), and "we should have gone to the tank museum" (OH - a family joke because we took our GSs there when they were quite young and OH was the only one who found it even remotely interesting). The whole venture is run by volunteers and GD1 got talking to the lady who was there, and found out she knows GD's form tutor/textiles teacher, and her OH teaches at the same school. It's a small world sometimes. GD may be able to do some work experience there, which she'd love.

OH looking at the 60s mini dresses said did you really wear skirts that short?

The journey home was much better. We dropped the GDs off and collected Eva, who had also had a lovely day with Cooper. I think I need an early night tonight.

                    Good morning,

Daisy, you would enjoy the day out with the GD's, I would have enjoyed the museum!! Very interesting!

I will have to Google a spam bol!

Oma, I was only talking to someone at the fitness yesterday about chickenpox! I have a "rash" on my face, I said it wasn't shingles, he asked how shingles appeared so I told him.

I went to the doctor after that, she cancelled a few things out and came up with a bacterial rash, this is the second time in a few weeks I have had this. She has given me some cream and it is helping, to be quite honest it is like a burn!!

DS2 sent me a link yesterday for the new music he has on Spotify etc, it is not my type of music, but, I will listen to it all later on.

I went for coffee and lunch yesterday with the lady I do the sewing for, I get on really well with her, we sat there almost 2 hours so both enjoyed it. It is her DH with parkinsonism. He has a rest around lunch time so she enjoyed the company, I think she did anyway!

It was warmer yesterday, still cold but the bitter wind has dropped. They forecast better weather for next week.

I was talking to a neighbour from the first floor yesterday, they have mice in their house! People feed birds on their balcony and it does attract the mice, my neighbour does the same thing, we are on the 5th floor and still get the mice at times.

Gem, you will be taking every day as it comes at the moment.

I may have a drive to the garden centre, I do need to clean the car inside, especially the windows, I will wait until it is warmer to do that.

                      Good morning.
This is a good time for me to write as you never know how the day is going to turn out!

Lizzie, I hope the cream clears the rash.

Honestly Oma, a parking ticket for having broken down, with RCA there - ridiculous.
Poor Finn, I hope he's not too poorly.

I'm glad you had a lovely day Daisy.

Plant, hopefully your cleaner will turn up.

I never sleep well at the moment, and last night I didn't because DD3 is here and I worried she would need me.
OH seems fine after yesterday's bone infusion. As she had the bad reaction the first time but none the second we are hoping and presuming it was just a first dose thing.

DD' s best friend and OH are driving from Bristol to see her again today. I think the three of them are hoping to get out a bit this afternoon. We plan to all have fish and chips here tonight.

We must do some shopping, fruit and a few things.
We were to have GS2 tonight as his family are traveling south to the 18th of a close family friend. As we now have DD3, plans have changed to him staying at Grandpa's.

Hope you all enjoy your fish and chips.

We are going into town later, meeting up with DS2.

Days change in a minute or two don't they depending on what is needed that day or moment,
I hope S is ok today , fingers crossed no side effects,
                          Does DD like pineapple?
We were told it was good for B , it helps with soreness in the mouth and the metallic taste you get when on chemo
Plus it helps the digestives system and it's full of vit C and anti inflammatory,
But I would check first incase it reacts with any meds.

                          Enjoy your fish&chips tonight,

                          Daisy
What a lovely day you had,
What a coincidence the volunteer knew her form tutor,
                          It's a small world.
I had to laugh at the tank museum,
I'm like that with B if we go I make the right noises and smile but I would rather be somewhere else 😁

                          Lizzie
Pleased you could get something for your rash
I rang MILs Dr yesterday to get something for her lips and nose,
The oxygen is drying them out and her lips are so sore.

                          Nanto
Enjoy your meet up with DS , will you all go for lunch together?

B stripped the bed for me this morning ,
First lot washed and in the tumble second lot in the wash,
We then went to M&S early,
I will only go first thing on a weekend as by lunch time it's a nightmare getting in the car park let alone getting a space .
I bought new underwear and we treated ourselves to a Chinese takeaway box for tonight.

The man who is fitting the kitchen is coming at 11 to have a look what needs doing just checking that the man who measured up has it all right.

                            Good Saturday afternoon, everyone.

I'll pop back later, as I'm just about to take Eva out. I dropped in here this morning, but the doorbell went. I thought it was our Sainsbury's delivery, but instead it was a wood turning friend of OH's who just called by to see how we both are, and he was concerned because OH hasn't been to the WT club for nearly a year. He's a lovely man and always cheerful. We had a good chat and a cuppa. About 5 minutes after he left, the doorbell rang again. Sainsbury's - it must be. No! it was our lovely neighbour. They've just had 3 of their GCs for a whole week so it was time for a catch up and a coffee. Then the doorbell rang a third time - Sainsbury's, nearly an hour late. A closed road had left him with a long detour, so he was running very late, poor chap.

                            I'll catch up later. xx

Oma, DS didn't join us for dinner, his wife is the manageress in a cafe,so he was going to have dinner with her.

I bought a new purse in town. Mine was a cream one and i was forever cleaning it,so i've bought a black one.

Nanto, I hope you enjoy using your new purse. I find it takes ages to put things in the best slots, and for the purse to wear in. Mine is red and two shades of blue, so I can see it at the bottom of dark handbags.

Gem, if you have a baby monitor, would your DD be happy to use it so she can call you easily in the night if needed. You need as much sleep as you can get (I know that's easier said than done) and it might help you to relax knowing that you will hear her if needed. Thank goodness OH was ok after the bone infusion. You did say the reaction might just be that first time, and I think you were right. You must both be very relieved. DD3's friend and her husband sound very special and I hope they were all able to go out.

Lizzie, I think very few of us have the same musical tastes as our children or grandchildren, but it was kind of your DS to send you the playlist. I hope the cream helps. You would have loved the fashion museum. There were all sort of interesting exhibits from Medieval to mid-late 1900s. There were also examples of skills such as lace-making, with very very fine thread, like gossamer, glove making and button making which was very much a Dorset skill which women did at home, until machine made buttons were invented. One thing I liked was that most of the clothes exhibits were complete with accessories - jewellery, handbags, shoes etc.

Oma, I hope the visit from the kitchen man went well and all the measurements are ok. I always try to find something of at least vague interest when we visit a place of OH's choice, but I'm afraid the tank museum was an exception. We've been to Beaulieu Motor Museum numerous times - usually because visitors want to go, but that's not so bad, and there are other attractions there as well. I'm sure you needed undies after throwing so much out the other day. Did you enjoy the Chinese takeaway box? It's awful if you have to drive round looking for a parking space. I'd rather go earlier as well.

Plant, did y our cleaner turn up today? Is H looking forward to going back to school after half term on Monday?

Wee Granny, how did your doggy sitting go on Thursday? I know he's a very big lad, but I'm sure he's gentle, and perhaps a bitt soppy - loving his cuddles.

After our busy morning, I didn't do much this afternoon. I took Eva out just as it started to rain. She decided she really wanted to go down the muddy path (so called for obvious reasons!) and it really lived up to its name. We both got home looking as though we'd been mud-wrestling! I'd been putting off going that way for ages, but she looked so pleading today, I couldn't say no any more. OH and I cooked dinner between us. We had pork chops which he cooks much better than I do, and I made a plum and ginger sauce with rice. His cooking skills have come on in leaps and bounds, bless him.
