Good morning, it wasn't a playlist Daisy, DS2 has a music studio at home and it is his own music he places on Spotify etc.

Nanto, it isn't very often I have a purse with me nowadays. I do still have one though, plus a small one so slip in my pocket.

I went to the garden centre yesterday morning, well the food part of it really, I was early and got what I needed, I called in at DS2 with some cheese, DIL had been with GD1 on Friday, she said it was so busy, no parking places to be found, they drove round and in the end she parked where she shouldn't have! They only went in the food part, she said you could hardly walk round it was so busy, they got what they wanted, the plan was to walk round the centre and have a drink, that has been put on hold.

I called at the growers on the way home for roses, the neighbour I visit had a birthday in January and I said I would get her the roses as she loves them, I got a bunch for myself but met another neighbour in the lift, she asked where I got such beautiful roses so I told her, when I got home I decided to go down and give her the bunch, I can go anytime for them, she was so pleased, she wanted to pay for them, I told her if she had asked me to get her a bunch she could have paid but these were a gift!

Then I went to DS1 for a meal last night, a busy day for me! It is GD's 17th birthday on Tuesday, DIL will be in Cologne for her work so they did the meal last night, all Italian snacks etc, DIL always puts so much work in what she cooks and luckily she is teaching the same to the girls. GD1's BF was there, we all enjoyed the evening.

GD1 and BF are busy planning their holiday, Greece this time.

My rash or whatever it was is healing again so the cream helps, I do hope that it doesn't return this time.

Gem, do Sil's parents live far away for them to travel for a few days?

Good morning, its the start of another new week.

No plans for today, we've had a busy three days, so it might be more relaxing today.

Lizzie, I'm glad the cream seems to be working.
It was lovely of you to give your other neighbour the roses.

Oma, hope all went well with the kitchen man.
Sometimes I forget to like posts, but that doesn't mean I don't like them.

        Morning Nanto, ladies.

        Nanto
Everything was fine , pencilled us in to start the week of the 6th April,
Gives time for the flooring to be done ,
He said it would take two days as he works alone.

        Gem
How is DD today ,did you all sleep?
How is SILs cold is it any better,
Fingers crossed for Tuesday going ahead.

        Lizzie
I bet your neighbour was thrilled with the roses , were they scented?
So many flowers are bread for more blooms than perfume these days.
Pleased to hear the cream is working,

        Daisy
You often find you get days when the door never stops or the phone don't you,
Nice of Js friend to call to see he was ok though wasn't it.

I bet Eva loved all the mud
So many smells , like doggy emails 😁

J will be on master chef soon , he is getting a dab hand isn't he😁

We really enjoyed the Chinese box last night , loads in the only thing in I don't like is beef in black been sauce ,
Don't like beef and the sauce is too salty for my taste.
But B loves it so he got all that to himself and I had extra noodles that I love .

I have done two loads of washing, now the shower curtains are on to wash,
B took them down for me ,
I hate shower curtains but as it's a wet room I can't have screens so have to put up with them
They are very long from ceiling to floor , have to stand on step ladders to unhook them so B does that.

I don't know what is wrong with my left ankle but I woke with it being very stiff,
It's not swollen or painful just feels uncomfortable and difficulty to bend ,
Another mystery to add to the list 😁

          Good morning everyone.

Nice to have an easy day after busy ones Nan2.

That was a busy day for you yesterday Lizzie! A nice one too

I hope the mystery ankle stiffness goes Oma!

Daisy I am very impressed with your OH's culinary skills now! Pork chops for us tonight I think, unless DD3 is staying.

DD went out with her friends yesterday, pacing herself. She had a nice time and it did her good.
We all had fish and chips for tea and a jolly time. We hadn't seen A's OH for ages so it was good to catch up with him.
A and J are coming over soon to go with DD to the nature reserve then a cafe for lunch.
DD needs to be at home tonight as the nurse will go in the morning to do bloods for Tuesday and check PICC line. She's still wary of catching anything from SIL, so not sure when she's going back, whether he's collecting her or us taking her!
Lovely day here, golf for OH.

            Good Sunday morning, everyone.

Lizzie, I'd totally forgotten about your DS and his music. Much more interesting than a play list. It was very kind of you to give the roses to your neighbour. I bet it made her day, it was such a lovely gesture. Thank goodness the rash seems to be getting better. Did it itch? It's hard to believe your GD is going to be 17 already. Your DIL is a good cook.

Oma, how exciting getting everything booked up for your kitchen make over. We have to have a shower curtain over our bath. Not ideal but if we had a screen it would make it very difficult to get into the bath. But we nearly always use the shower in our ensuite. We're lucky to have a choice, I know! I wonder what's happened to your ankle. Perhaps you slept on it awkwardly. The Chinese box sounds good - I don't often go into M&S food hall, but that's something I'd choose.

The friend who called yesterday is lovely. He's a retired airline pilot and has great stories to tell, and when he and J get together it's a riot! Yes, J is not quite at Master Chef standard yet - but I've got hopes!! I don't think he will ever love cooking, but he's been brilliant this last 12 months keeping us fed when I wasn't up to cooking.

How is Storm getting on? I hope he's ok.

No plans for today, but GS1 wants to go and view a car in Bournemouth and would like OH to go with him.

Daisy, the rash didn't itch, more of a burn, that is what it looked like as well. Luckily the cream is working.

Yes, almost 17!!! DIL is teaching both the girls how to cook, luckily, I have just had tomato soup that GD1 had made, very nice it was as well.

Oma, DH and a good neighbour built my shower about 30 years ago, it was my "plan", it worked out well and I still love it! There is a wall to separate the shower with shelves at different heights to place shampoo etc in. Much easier to keep clean than a curtain.

Daisy, I bet the retired pilot does have tales to tell.

Oma, I think the roses are slightly scented. Not too much though as they are the only flower I can have in my house!

It is very wet and windy. We have a huge willow tree down in the park, there must be a creaking branch as first the fire brigade came then the men from the council, it must be safe enough as they have left it as it is. There is a very busy footpath under the tree so it does need to be safe.

Just rang DD she said Storm doing well but desperate to get out ,
He is off his painkillers and antibiotics and doesn't need his cone at night now,
They are back to the Vets on Friday for x-ray to check the bone is healing ,
Hopefully he will be allowed short walks then.

GS is recording at our local church this afternoon,
He went down to Uni yesterday to collect all the equipment and will take it back tomorrow,
It's part of his course and the acoustics in the church are just what he needs .

The parish vicar has been such a help , telling him what part of the church is best for sound ,
And what time is best between services.

                Lizzie
I hope the tree is safe and no one gets injured,
They may have been inspecting it as a precaution.

Gem, hope DD had a good day with her friends.

Its been wall to wall sunshine here today. We were able to sit in our suntrap for a cuppa.

Had an easier day today, after the past three busy ones.
I did some cleaning up and got the ironing done.

Thanks Nan2, she did but was exhausted after and had to have a sleep.
We took her home before tea and spent a bit of time with little E and SIL too.

Good to hear Storm doing well Oma.

Gem, our earlier posts crossed. I'm so glad DD enjoyed her day with her friends. Nice for you to spend some time with little E and SIL. Your relaxed fish and chip evening sounds like a tonic for all of you. I hope S enjoyed the golf today.

Oma, poor Storm. He must wonder why he's not getting his daily walkies. I hope the bone is healing properly. Did GS's recording go well at the church? I can imagine the acoustics would be interesting.

Nanto, wall to wall sunshine sounds wonderful, especially if you've got a bit of time to sit and enjoy it.

Lizzie, I'm glad the cream is working well. It's a good job there are flowers with little or no scent so you can enjoy them indoors. I wonder if some trees are becoming unstable because of rain water being held round the roots. I hope the willow survives.

Our day ended up busier than expected. GS1 had seen a car he liked and wanted OH to go with him. It was only about 20 miles along the coast from here, so GS and his Mum's friend came down and picked OH up. The car was exactly what GS wanted, and he's been saving hard for ages to be able to pay cash for it. He'll have to come back down to collect it later in the week. We had fish and chips when they got back. It was lovely to see him, and his Mum's friend, who we've known for many years. While they were out I made bread, then flapjacks, then portioned up 4 kg of dog food, then took Eva for her walk.

An early start tomorrow for a blood test.

Hope all goes well for her tomorrow.

Daisy, you were certainly busy yesterday while OH was out.

No plans for us so far today.

Always good to have someone who knows about cars with you ,
Hope your not long at the hospital this morning.

I am sure you will find something to do today you always do 😁

I have to wait in for the new roller blind for my kitchen this morning they said between 9-2
                            Hopefully it's early.

                            B is livid today ,
He never gets angry, but yesterday afternoon my nephew and his partner went to see MIL

She said to him don't have children, I have 5 and not one of them does anything for me 😱

B said he has had enough of her,
He wanted to go over this morning and have it out with her but as he feels so angry I said no wait till you calm down.
SIL my nephew's mother is going up though so lord knows what will happen there.

I really don't know what to do to make her happy , it feels like a lost cause.

                              Good Monday morning, everyone.

Nanto, a butterfly is always a good start to a day. Hopefully we'll soon be seeing them in our gardens. I hope you don't get rain with that strong wind.

Gem, happy birthday for tomorrow for your DD1. Enjoy your lunch at Betty's, and let us know what you have.

Oma, I hope your new blind has arrived. Do they install it as well? No wonder B is livid. He needs to say something to his mother, I know, but it might be better if both he and his sister (and you) see her together, then she can't throw accusations around so easily. Maybe she just needs things spelling out to her once and for all. I don't think there's anything you can do to make her happy - happiness comes from within you, but I hope B can at least get things off his chest.

We were in and out of the hospital very quickly, even before my appointment time, but we saw DS2's mother-in-law there, so we all went for a coffee and a chat. It was good to catch up with her. Usually we just pass on the doorstep between delivering/collecting GDs and/ or dog.

The sun's shining, and it's not quite as cold, but the garden is still too wet to do anything. I'm going to have a cuppa with our next door neighbour after lunch. We haven't seen each other for a chat for 3 or 4 weeks.

Hallo everyone, I have been to do coffee at the office, there was no wifi! That doesn't work very well in an office. Apparently they were busy with cables in the street on Friday and must have damaged something, a young man came to have a look, he needed a new box of some sort so I hope it is repaired now as they have a meeting this afternoon for the new tax rules.

I have just sent a photo to the doctor, the rash is getting worse so most probably shingles, yet again.

Oma, I don't know how any or you cope with your MIL!!

Daisy, your GS will be so proud of his own car!

Gem, I am pleased that DS3 managed to enjoy the time with her friends, I hope you all enjoy the lunch at Betty's today.xx

Again I forgot to post this!
