Lizzie, lovely for the skaters, not so good for walkers.

Plant, its good that GD has got a little job.

Daisy, hope Cooper isn't getting too excited.

Oma, glad Storm is enjoying his treats.

All went well for both of us this morning.

        Hello again.
Time to log in properly now.

I hope all is well with the reviews Nan2.

Oma, I hate those awful cramps which wake you with a shock. OH was very cold yesterday! She was glad to be out there though. No I'm not sleeping well at the moment.

Plant it can be difficult without a car can't it?

i'm glad you have sun Daisy, we all need it!

        Good heavens Lizzie

A very early start for us, out by 7.30. Details on YEO
Quickly home and straight out to aqua class for me followed by much needed coffee time with my friend who was there, then home, quick shower and off to the hospital for OH's monthly treatment at 1.00. No time for lunch (and I had missed breakfast apart from a banana! ) So OH made us a pack up which we ate in the hospital multi story car park before the appointment!
Then to DD1's to pick up our BP monitor which they borrowed. No plans to go out again...... but we can never be sure.

Nanto, I'm pleased your and OH's annual review went well. It's always a bit of a worry, as you may feel perfectly well, but if something crops up it throws you. How are you feeling as far as the cream is concerned? Fingers crossed, you're not in any pain now.

Oma, I hope you don't get more cramp tonight. Poor Storm, he must be feeling poorly is Buzz is being kind to him. Animals do seem to sense when one of them isn't well. I had to smile at Storm squatting like that. Sometimes Eva tries to cock her leg, but hasn't quite got the hang of it. Cooper seems to realise that Eva isn't up for playing much at the moment. But they did have a session of "I want the bone you've got". As soon as one dog puts it down the other takes it. Luckily neither of them get annoyed or possessive. OH has got heating in his shed and it's quite well insulated. I think he enjoyed the morning, but was tired when he came in for lunch.

Plant, how kind of your DD to defrost your freezer. Being able to put the contents in her own freezer must help. My upright freezer is self-defrosting, but the chest freezer isn't. I'm pleased for your GD that she's got a job with hours that suit her, but I hope she can find a solution to the travel problem. Is it the school H attends?

Lizzie, those roads look lethal, but great for the skaters. I think I'd be staying at home.

Gem, what a busy day you've had, but I'm so glad you are getting to your Aqua classes and relaxing over a coffee with your friends afterwards. I hope OH's treatment went smoothly and she doesn't get any adverse reactions.

It seems to have been a busy day for me and I ended up feeling very tired. It was nice having Cooper round though. He's such a lovely affectionate dog, and very funny. If he asks for something (usually food related) and you say no, he just looks at you with sad, pleading eyes and droopy ears. So you say no again, and he starts blowing his cheeks out as if to say "it's hard work trying to communicate with this human". He's even been known to stamp a paw in protest. You have to be really strict with him, though, because if you give in he'll remember and be more persistent the next time. Some time ago (as in years ago) OH dropped half a banana, which Cooper downed in one gulp (he loves bananas). If he sees OH with a banana now, he still pesters for a piece of it. . Tomorrow, we'll have to get back on track with Eva's physio and a short walk, but I'm heading for an early night tonight.

          Sleep well everyone.

            Good morning everyone.

Nan2, good news about the reviews.

Cooper sounds fun Daisy! I hope you got a good sleep.

Little E day. I collect him from nursery as early as possible which is just after 12 if they put him in for early lunch. He is welcome to stay the night, but I think they are maybe wanting a bit of more normal routine for him. I will be looking after him again tomorrow afternoon when DD has another appointment.

              Good morning.

Just cleaned the fridge, ready for Sainsburys delivery between 9 and 10.

Daisy, i don't start using the cream again until after the weekend.
Then, i'm only using it one day a week, and it will be washed off after 6 to 8 hours.

Plant, a nice clean defrosted freezer for you.
I'm glad both of ours are frost free.

Trying to picture Cooper with the banana.

                Morning Nanto, Ladies.

                Nanto
Your graphic made me laugh ,
It. Reminded me of when DD opened her fridge and Buzz the naughty cat was in there eating a packet of ham,
She has no idea how long he was in there, she only opened it because Storm was sniffing and looking at her.

I hope the cream is ok this time not so harsh .

                Gem
I HOPE DD can come home again after her appointment,
I can understand wanting routine for E to continue as long as possible,
But it must be a great relief to know he is equally as comfortable and happy with you as he is at home,
Takes that worry off their shoulders.

                Daisy
Cooper. Isn't daft is he , he now's grandad will give him Banana if he puts the puppy dog eyes on 😁
                Does Eva like banana?

It's good he and Eva can play my turn for the bone , some dogs are defensive aren't they.

                Lizzie
That must have been a sight to see all them skaters on the road ,

I'm going to Aldi then over to take MIL over to Morrisons,
She better not act up today like she has done with his sisters the past few days.

                  Good Thursday morning, everyone.

We've had a lot of rain again overnight, but it's dry at the moment, so OH is doing a few odd jobs outside, including tidying up the log store before it all topples over.

No plans for me today, and I feel like taking it easy. I'll go and do Eva's physio in a minute and get lunch ready. I'll drop in again later.

GD starting her job at a local school today, she will just be working lunch times. Transport is a bit of a problem, she is using her mother’s car today. I am staying home today, booked an optician's appt. I think I will be on the way to a cataract op. No plans today, perhaps another go on the jigsaw puzzle.

Daisy, pretty wet looking here today. Does Eva enjoy her physio session?

Oma, good luck with the shopping, I know you will not stand any nonsense from Mil. Your latest addition to your kitchen sounds good. Perhaps I should change my garage freezer and get one that doesn’t ice up.

Gemini, I can understand your DD and family like to have the little one if they can, it must bring a bit of normality to their lives.
What is life if full of care we have no time to stand and stare

Well we didn't take MIL shopping today it's bitter cold and the rain is lashing down,
                      So we will try tomorrow,

Although B still had to go over she rang in a panic she was stuck upstairs as the stair lift wasn't working ,

So off he went , got there and she had managed to hit the off button 🙄
He tried talking her through it but she was getting so confused it was better he went and sorted it ,
He has put tape over the off button so she can't do that again.

Another panic over till next time .

                      Plant
I hope GDs first day goes well , will she have the use of DDs car each day?
                      Enjoy your Jigsaw puzzle.

                      Daisy
Your lucky to have dry weather , is it as cold down your end of the country ?

GS just been fed him hot beef sandwich with wedges , he's now gone to get his brakes tested full and happy 😁

He's been to get glasses again he's finding he's getting headaches being on the computer at Uni a lot ,
Said his eyes were getting tired with the strain and when he was in a lecture last week he was at the back and couldn't see the white board or the power point.

It's very cold here, and quite windy.

Daisy, I'm sure an easy day is what you need.

No point taking MIL out in that sort of weather Oma.

I hope your GDs first day went well Plant.

Little E had a lovely nursery morning and fun afternoon with us. Mummy and daddy were so long at the hospital that it was more sensible to come to us for a while and take him home before tea.
They had only had cheese and crackers at the hospital so cheese on toast and a cuppa at ours was a welcome late lunch for DD and SIL.
I treasure every moment with my DD, so it was lovely to spend some time with her especially away from the hospital.

Plant, I do hope your GD's first day went well. First days are always hard, and I bet it was tiring for her today. At least she had the use of her mum's car. Is she working every day? Yes, Eva enjoys her physio sessions - what's not to like, fun games and treats (as she sees it), with a nice long cuddle afterwards, while I use a cold pack on her knee.

Oma, It wasn't too cold this morning, and stayed dry until about 3 o'clock - just as I was about to say the magic "walkies" word. It rained too hard even for me and Eva to go out, and hasn't stopped. It's due to rain all night, so I expect we'll get floods again tomorrow. I hope GS's eyes are ok, but I do think constant use of screens doesn't help. The hot beef sandwich sounds tasty. Let's hope MIL has got the stair lift controls sorted now.

Gem, keeping little E happy, occupied and relaxed must lift a weight off DD and SIL's shoulders, and you know you're doing something really useful to help them. I'm so glad you had some time with DD this afternoon in the comfort of your own home. It must have been so good for both of you.

Nanto, I do hope the reduced use of the cream is ok and you don't have those awful side effects again. xx

I've been really tired today - some days are like that - so I've only done a load of washing and made a sandwich for lunch. I will have an early night tonight, so should be ok by tomorrow.

OH did well this morning. He didn't get to do the log pile, but did a load of other jobs that have been piling up, including getting the trailer loaded for a trip to the tip, and clearing up a lot of leaves off the path down the side of the house. He was tired afterwards, but it's the first time he's done anything active since he had the flu. Hopefully he's finally on the mend.

Oma, the story of Buzz in the fridge made me giggle.

Plant, hope GD enjoys her job at the school.

We have had more than our share of rain today. All we can do is grin and bear it.

No cooking for me today, hubby wanted to go to KFC.

                              Good morning ladies.

Daisy, you and OH need to try to take it easy. I know it's hard when jobs are mounting up xx

Nan2, I was thinking of us having a KFC at some point soon.

Little E will be with us for while today. DD3 will be at the hospital having a line fitted for the upcoming treatments. It shouldn't take long, but who knows. I am going to my 11 am aqua class as OH is happy to look after E until I get back, which shouldn't be long. GS2 from school this afternoon. DD2 has arranged things so I never have to go for him at present. However a bit of normality for him and me will be good.

Rain forecast all day here today.

Gem it doesn't take long for the line , it's the faff on before hand , then the flush through ,
The main thing is looking out for infection in the site,
But she will be told all that I'm sure.
DD2 sorting so you don't have the school run is a good help ,
Do the boys know what's going on with DD1?

B loves KFC I never eat them

I'm just going shopping for MIL she doesn't want to go in this rain and it's freezing cold

Just as well I have a sore throat still and don't feel like having her antics today.
