Good morning. Welcome to Gran Chat.

Tried to find a chatty graphic that it hadn't used before. This is the best I could find.
I'm doing this on my phone though, not the computer.

I was hoping to get the grass cut sometime today, but it's raining just now. Will see if the weather improves.

Daisy, enjoy your shopping day. I'm sure Eva will choose the perfect bed.

Dinner is chicken and bacon slice, mashed potatoes and swede, mixed veg and gravy.
Sometimes I forget to like posts, but that doesn't mean I don't like them.

        Good morning everyone.

It's raining here too Nan2. That's a nice meal for this weather.

I had nice meal and catch up with my friend last night. It was a warm evening and some people were sitting at the tables outside.
Aqua morning then coffee. Picking up my friend, then she goes on holiday with her DDs on Friday. Her car should be ready when she gets back.
Massage for me this afternoon. Its a later time than I like, so I hope I don't get caught up too much in traffic on the way home. I have to make right turn out onto a busy road to leave there.

        Have a good day ladies.

          Morning ladies,
It's so wet and dark here very miserable,

          Gem
I hope the journey home isn't too stressful or that massage to relax your muscles will have gone to waste😁

          Nanto
I wish I looked like that sitting on the computer ,
          I look more like a troll 🧌 😁

Popping down DDs this morning she has a rare day off so going down for coffee and to take some plates I have had for such a long time that we don't use but she said she would,
It would be a shame to throw them out but I have so many it's ridiculous.

Nanto, your friend on the computer looks very chatty! I hope the weather improves for you to cut the grass. Ours needs doing as well, but it's too wet at the moment. It was yesterday we went shopping. We didn't find a bed for Eva, or boots for me, but we had a nice lunch out and I got some new make-up and a diary for next year.

I can't believe how full of Christmas cards the card shops are. There was hardly any choice of other cards. I thought I was in good time for December birthdays, but I was wrong. I didn't find anything suitable for DS2 and DIL2's 20 wedding anniversary this month, but at least I've got time to get one online.

Gem, it was warm yesterday, but it went quite cold here in the evening. Enjoy your massage (if that's the right word, as I know it's very thorough). I do hope the traffic isn't too bad. Turning right onto a busy road is the thing I hate the most and some people just won't give you a bit of space to get out. Take care.

Oma, I hope you've had a good chat with your DD, and heard all about their holiday if you hadn't already done so.

I was very tired yesterday after shopping, and didn't feel up to dog training today, so I'm doing some online retail therapy and pottering round. I saw a nice wall hanging when we were on holiday and I want to make something similar, so I might start on that this afternoon. I really ought to be doing some housework, but it will wait!

DD and Sil are on their way back from holiday, apparently DD hasn’t been well since the wedding they went to. Board Games this afternoon.

Daisy, you have to listen to your body don’t you, no point in overdoing things. Something crafty sounds a good idea.

Oma Have you and B got the dog hairs cleaned up? He is worth it.

Gemini, I could do with a nice massage, joints and muscles ache all over. I hope all goes to plan for your friend’s car. How is S?

Rain has stopped, but its dull and miserable. Perfect weather for staying in.
I've cleaned the fridge, ready for shopping coming tomorrow. Cleaned the dishwasher while it was empty.
Also cleaned some windows, but my window vac has stopped working.
Hubby having a look at it now. If it can't be fixed, i'll order a new one this afternoon.

Daisy, what a shame you didn't get any boots. Poor Eva as well with no new bed.

Nanto, I thought about cleaning windows today, but changed my mind. Those window vacs are a game changer, aren't they. I hope yours is repairable.

Plant, poor DD not feeling well after the wedding. I hope she's ok now, and is ok flying back home. Enjoy your board games. Perhaps a gentle massage would do your joints good. With the cold weather coming I think we have to do whatever it takes to keep ourselves well. Is H still enjoying school? I hope she's made some good friends.

All hairs gone although we still find the odd one, we have him again on Friday so there will be more😁
No one would believe I would let a big hairy dog in my house and not mind ,
My brother used to be baffled , he would say he couldn't believe it 😁
Poor DD I hope it's nothing she ate at the wedding,
You need to keep your joints warm, is the games hall heated?

                      Daisy
Shame you didn't find what you were looking for , it's always the same but then something will turn up once you have found an alternative, sods law.
I've had the same with cardigans, I ordered one from Roman original last night , if I like it when it comes I will order another in a different colour.
Take it easy today let your body recover from yesterday xx

                      Nanto
I have two karcher's, I bought a smaller one a while ago but I still prefer my original one ,
I keep them both charged , they are a game changer with windows aren't they.

Had a nice long chat with DD ,
Storm raided my handbag for the treats tub I keep in there as soon as I sat down😁
He then brought his new toys that DD had brought back to show me ,
She was busy drying him when we went in as they had just came back from a very wet walk.

It's still wet out but brighter than it was ,
B did intend clearing the leaves out of the alley way and the drive but it's so wet at the moment ,
They can wait another couple of days.

Latest report for the window vac,it is back to full health.
Apparently it was the connectors, so i don't know what had happened to them.
Yes, they are a game changer when it comes to cleaning windows.

Nanto, pleased the window vac is fit and well again.

Oma, I hope the cardigan is what you're looking for. You never totally get rid of dog hairs - at least I never seem to. I got used to having non-shedding dogs with Rusty and Clyde, but Eva more than makes up for it. She's not keen on being groomed, so I try to do a little and often, but never really get the job finished. I bet Storm was pleased to see you and your handbag.

Gem, I hope your massage went well and you had a good journey back home.

Plant, how did you get on with the games this afternoon? Are DD and SIL back home now?

I had a lazy morning, just doing a bit of my wall hanging. It was nice and sunny this afternoon so I cut the lawn and trimmed the edges, with a rest in between. There's rain forecast for the next few days so I wanted to get it done.

OH was out all day, came home for a shower and went out again this evening. He'd eaten at lunch time, so I defrosted myself a portion of chicken casserole, added a few veggies and a jacket potato. There was some gravy left on my plate and somehow Eva managed to lick it while I was juggling things round in the dishwasher. There couldn't have been as much as a dessert spoonful but 10 minutes later she was sick. We know she's allergic to chicken, but that's the first time in over 10 years I've accidentally let her have anything chicken related. Thank goodness she was sick and was ok, but I felt very guilty!

Oh WG that is so good!

Poor Eva Daisy, but thank goodness she's ok.

I keep considering a Karcher Nan2 but haven't bought one so far.

Plant I hope your DD is soon better.

The traffic wasn't nearly as bad as I feared and I had no delays on the way home. I think half it been a bit later I could have.

DD and SIL3 are under the weather and little E had a temperature a couple of nights ago. We feel we can't have him tomorrow due to the risk to OH. I feel very sad that I can't help DD and SIL3, and more so that I won't see him, especially as we will be away next week.
I know it's for the best, but I hate not seeing him and I know he won't understand why it's Thursday and he can't come here
