    Lizzie
I have done that lots of times , thought I had pressed post reply and I hadn't 😁
I hope it's not shingles again but it does sound like it doesn't it.

My new blind arrived it's the same colour as my new kitchen,
B will put it up as he usually does but I'm going to keep it till all the kitchen is done,

I bought it from Blinds to go ,
    it's a no drill one ,
I have had most of my blinds from them , they are well made and arrived very quickly.

The sun is still out , I was going to spray the weeds on the drive thinking I had weed killer in the shed but I don't,
I then remembered I took it to MILs and used it all on her paths 🙄

Oma, for a moment there, i thought you were going to say you had used weed killer on MIL.
I got lots of little jobs done today, as you say, i always find something to do.

We had sunshine this morning, but its raining now. Wind has calmed down though.

Gem, hope you enjoy your visit to Betty's.
      Happy birthday to DD1 tomorrow.

Daisy, glad you weren't too long at the hospital. Nice to have a catch up with DS'2 MIL.

Lizzie, I hope the rash isn't Shingles. 🤞

Nanto, sun then rain seems to be a pattern at the moment. We've had the same here today.

Gem, I hope you were able to relax a bit and enjoy DD1's birthday lunch. Did the Library AGM go ok?

Oma, is B feeling more relaxed now? Did SIL go to see her Mum?

I had a nice chat and catch up with my neighbour this afternoon. I took Eva round with me and she spent the whole time wandering round after my neighbour's husband who she absolutely adores. We had our usual walk in the rain. We'll both be developing webbed feet at this rate!

Daisy AGM went well and very fast! A good friend offered to drive us into town which meant we could meet the others on time and my (very painful atm) hip was saved some walking.

We had a lovely time, thanks everyone, which I have covered in YEO.
I'm sorry you are still having so much rain!

Gem, how kind of your friend driving you into town. I'm sorry your hip's so painful, though. I hope you can manage Wednesday's Aqua class.

Oma, perhaps neither B nor SIL going might give MIL a chance to think about just how much you all do for her.

Good morning, well, it is shingles, I was so ill yesterday, I had to go for the medicine, got back here and the lift wasn't working!! The man was fixing something, I didn't feel like climbing 5 flights of stairs feeling like this so I sat on the bench in the hall! My neighbour came home on her scooter, her DH always has to be there to open the garage door but she had to do it herself, then, the lift came down with her DH in, he had told the man there was no way his wife could climb the stairs so the man let him use the lift! The neighbour wasn't the only one that was pleased!

I went to bed at 5pm and slept 12 hours. I hope I feel better today, my face does look better.

I am pleased that you enjoyed the lunch Gem, nice of friends to take you into town.

Oma, I wonder what your MIL will do now?

Daisy, we haven't had much rain, Sunday morning it was raining then it soon dried up.

Hope you feel better soon Lizzie.

Going into town later, hubby meeting his pal.

For someone that didn't want much, i seem to have quite a list.

                  Weather is a bit drizzly.

                    Good morning everyone.

Oh poor you Lizzie Feel better soon.

It's not drizzling here Nan2 but it's very grey.

Poor B must despair of his mother Oma. I suppose all you can tell yourselves is that she DOES know all that you do for her really, despite saying these awful untrue things.

Library for me but first I will take DD1's birthday present round. I didn't see the point in her having to take it home on the bus yesterday .It will be nice to see her on her birthday anyway.
She's going out this evening and DD2 is babysitting.

                        Morning ladies

It's damp and grey here as usual.

                        Lizzie
We are only letting MIL stew for a day or two see how she feels then having no one go,
Her way of getting out of it is to ring SIL2 and say she's unwell , does it all the time,
She knows we can't ignore her incase she really is unwell, so she has us over a barrel so to speak.

Hopefully you start to feel better each day but reoccurring shingles are not easy to cope with.

                        Gem
Have a nice morning with DD 1 it will be nice to see her on her Birthday,
                        Is S playing golf today?

I was surprised how much GS1 has grown , he's a young man now , I still think of his chubby little arms and legs 😁
                        Such a lovely baby 😁

                        Daisy
You and Eva need yellow souwester 's, all the walking in rain you do
Does your neighbours husband give Eva treats , Storm loves anyone with treats ,😁

                        Not much planned today ,
I want to go over the road to Home bargains and The range ,
I'm looking for a new biscuit tin and a suitable standard lamp to go in the corner behind B's chair ,

Spoke to Clare&Martin last night ,
Poor Finn the chickenpox are up his nose in his mouth, a nasty one near his eye,
They are getting very little sleep as he is hot and uncomfortable at night ,
They are taking turns sleeping in bed with him so the other can go in the spare room and get some rest.

He is understandably clingy at the moment just wants cuddles but then gets too hot,

We have all been there haven't we bless them they are shattered ,
Our Martin is 59 now it's hard work having a sick toddler at any age but worse when your getting older.

                            Good Tuesday morning, everyone.

Lizzie, you must have felt dreadful yesterday and the lift being out of action must have felt like the last straw. I hope your 12 hour sleep has helped you to feel a bit better.

Nanto, it's better to have a long shopping list than to get home and realise you forgot something important. I hope the rain stops.

Gem, DD1 will be very pleased to see you on her actual birthday. I hope everything goes well for DD3 today. I hope the rain holds off for S's golf.

Oma, poor Finn. It's hard for Mum and Dad as well. Chickenpox can be really nasty. I remember our GS2 was so ill the doctor nearly sent him to hospital. His brother sailed through it with hardly a spot. I think we've had more than our share of rain this winter, but worse is all the standing water. Our village lies on low land and the powers that be are trying to restore wet/bogland for environmental reasons, so I think rain water doesn't run off into the rivers so quickly. A lot of it seems to be sitting on our lawn! Still the sun's shining today. I hope you find the perfect biscuit tin and lamp.

No our neighbour doesn't give Eva treats, she just adores him!

No plans for us, except maybe moving furniture round in the living room - it's time for a change. I've got a phone call with the Consultant some time as well.

I have just met the neighbour with the roses, she said they smell lovely ! Then talking to M next door about the lift, the young man had told her if anyone needed the lift if they knocked on the door he would send it down, how on earth were we supposed to know that!!

I do feel a little better thanks, funny head from the medicine but at least the burning pain has gone now.
