    Good Wednesday morning, everyone.

Nanto, we hand deliver our local cards. Usually OH takes Eva with him and she seems to realise it's an occasional treat to go into other people's gardens!

Oma, what are you two like! Please take care with your back. I hope B doesn't develop a full-blown cold. Does he take any supplements to boost his immune system? I hope MIL feels a bit happier when she's had her hair done.

Gem, I'll be thinking of you both this afternoon, and hoping the CT scan results are good. I guess it's quite early days in OH's course of treatment, but you can't help being worried. Sending hugs to you both. The baroque music sounds lovely, and I'm glad it was well-supported. I agree about the wind - it does tire you out, although the main problem I find is the wind blowing my hair all over my face! I think foxes are creatures of habit, but it's always a bit of a surprise to see them, even here where it's very rural. I bet your fox was on its way to check out the dustbins at the hotel. I hope it found a tasty supper.

OH is fine today. He just finds it hard when needles are being used!

It's very sunny this morning, but quite a cold wind. I went and fished dead leaves out of the pond, and as fast as I fished them out more were blowing in.

Gem, hope all goes well, fingers crossed for good results.

We hand delivered some cards this morning.
Hubby just gone to his brothers at the bottom of the estate.
I refuse to go, he's all me me me.
If he has been somewhere or done something, you get it all fron the thread to the needle.
if we say we have done something or been somewhere, all we get is mm.

All good with the scan results. Thank you everyone. We have been worried.
OH is in having her injections and tests they do before giving her the next months drugs.

Talk to you again later xx

Gem, that is such good news. You must both be very relieved and pleased. Big hugs. xx

Nanto, some people are like that - they only every look at the world through their own eyes. I'd have stayed at home in the warmth as well.

Oma, how is your back, and how is B? I hope you've been taking it easy today.

We've got an unplanned hospital visit tomorrow. OH has been having a bit of trouble with his eye (the one he's been having treatment on) and last night I was quite concerned, so he rang the hospital this morning and has an appointment in Eye Emergency tomorrow morning. We could be in for a long wait, as it is the A&E service for eyes and if something more urgent comes in you just have to wait. I've put my Kindle on charge, just in case. I took Eva over to DS2's because we could be there for ages and my neighbour is out most of the day as well.

Daisy,I'm sorry to hear about OH's eye and hope it can easily be sorted out tomorrow. I know eye departments are liable to long waits due to emergency patients taking priority. I hope it isn't too long.

As I said earlier, the scan results for OH were good. Nothing new showing up and some improvement. That is the last appointment of this year.
Also, unknown to me DD1 was at the breast clinic this morning with a lump which thankfully proved to be a cyst. I had two or three similar experiences at her age. This is her second .Such a relief when it's ok, but very worrying before.

good morning, Gem, I am pleased that the scan results for S were good. Gem, your DD1 would be worried, I am pleased it was a cyst.

Daisy, your poor DH, I do hope that you haven't a long wait at the clinic.

My aqua friend is in the hospital, she has survived cancer of the lungs, twice, half of one of her lungs was removed so she has trouble breathing sometimes, what she thought was her breathing this time was her heart! She went to the doctors post at the hospital and was rushed by ambulance to another hospital and is now on the heart ward!! I do hope that she is improving, she has been through so much.

DS1 and DIL are in Sweden for his work, first a few days in Gothenburg, yesterday 5 hours on the train through Sweden to Stockholm, whilst he is away on business DIL works in the hotel, they will be home tomorrow evening. The girls are coping well on their own, so they tell me!

                Good morning.

Lizzie, hope your friend is ok.

Daisy, hope you don't have too long to wait. Hope all goes well.

Gem, glad S had good results. Pleased it is only a cyst for your DD.

Oma, hope B is feeling better soon.

No plans for us, we'll take the day as it comes.

Good morning Nan2, Lizzie and everyone.

Lizzie, I hope your friend is OK.

Daisy and Oma, I hope things are ok too.

Little E day today and an exciting one! It is his nursery Christmas show, which I will drop him off for at 2, show at 2 .30. I am looking forward to it. I was hoping it would rain and golf be cancelled so OH could come. Of course it is a fine day

                    Morning Nanto, ladies.

                    Nanto
We know someone like hubby's brother,
Everything you say they have done it, got it, paid twice as much , been there.

We roll our eyes now and try to avoid them,
Thing is though if they were not like that they would be good company.

                    Gem
Sooo pleased S's scan showed an improvement, I hope she's feeling ok today?
My DD had three of those cysts on her breast, each one scary, they said she might get another , with her it's hormonal as she is going through the menopause.
Doesn't stop us worrying for them though does it.

                    Daisy
Poor J I hope they can sort his eye and your not there too long , those places are always packed.

                    Lizzie
Your poor friend , she has had a lot hasn't she ,
Fingers crossed they can get her on the road to recovery.

B has had a bad night , never off the toilet and his throat is all infected ,
I shone a torch in his mouth this morning to have a look and it's awful.
If he feels up to it he will go to our pharmacy to get them to check and see if they can give him anything.

My 75 yr old sister in law ( brothers wife) was barred from her local pub last night , oh the shame 🤣
She wasn't drunk just singing and dancing and they said she was too loud and boisterous,

The older clientele complained, most were younger than her,
She is very lively but not a bad bone in her body she just likes fun,
                    Growing old disgracefully 🤣

                        Hello everyone.

We've just got back from the hospital, and I've made OH a cup of tea before I go and fetch Eva home. He's had two scans, seen two doctors and a consultant, and is waiting to hear results of second scan. This has left his eyes feeling bruised and everything looking odd colours. I think he'll sleep while I'm out. The hospital will be in touch, but the first scan they did showed better results than the one he had in November. The second scan was much deeper, so we'll have to wait and see.

                        I'll pop back later.

Oma, so sorry to hear B is feeling he is developing a cold. I love to hear children singing, were they collecting money? I wonder how long your Mil stops being rude to family?

Nanto, I hope you manage to keep warm and dry doing your shopping. Are you feeding the family at Christmas.

Daisy, I have mornings like that, I seem to go from one job to another and not finishing anything.

Gemini, We have had several days of changeable weather, I suppose we should expect it this time of year, it was dark and wet very early today.

My Ex Guiders Christmas get-together this afternoon. We made table decorations, exchanged cards, had a Christmas lucky dip and lots of chat of course.

Not sure i f the above posted yesterday.

                              Thurs 11th,
I have done very little today apart from sorting out my Waitrose shopping list. I had intended to go out but I had a bad night and didn’t feel up to it. GD1 sorted out my on line shopping as I had got in a bit of a mess. Not my day today.

Daisy I hope all the test results are not too worrying. What are they checking for?

Oma, I loved the description of your brothers wife being banned for dancing and singing, miserable lot.

Lizzie, the Dirty Dancing made me laugh. They must be very good dancers.

Gem, your DD was right - you would have worried about her. Thank goodness it's what it is.

Nanto, how did your day go? I hope you enjoyed having nothing in particular to do.

Oma, poor B. He must be very fed up. Did he get any help from the pharmacy? I think growing old disgracefully is what we should all hope for. If we can't have fun at our ages it's a sad prospect.

I went and collected Eva and had a quick chat with DS2, but didn't stop as I found the whole day quite tiring, what with the early start, traipsing round the hospital and a lot of driving. I was glad to get home. I'm going to do something easy for dinner - but have no idea what, yet! Eva and Cooper both gave me a good welcome. I've got to finish the Sainsburys order for tomorrow, but otherwise, I think I'll just have an early night.
