    Good Tuesday morning, everyone.

Nanto, that little duck is perfectly dressed for today's weather! What are you favourite pizza toppings?

Gem, perhaps it something about people who like to use power washers wanting to do a perfect job, but those little black spots will come back, as will the moss etc. . It's great to see little ones getting confident in the water. He'll be swimming before you know it. I'll be thinking about S and hoping the scan goes well. It's good you can take her and wait. You can feel quite shaky after any sort of procedure, and waiting around for so long would be awful.

Plant, how lovely waiting for a new addition to your family. I hope GD2 is keeping well. What a problem with the new alarm. As you say, not everyone has someone who can help to get it properly installed. I hope your landline is soon fixed and it's all working properly.

Oma, your poor Great-niece. She must be fed up. My GS2 was 2 weeks late, and I was induced, so lots of sympathy for her. I hope she doesn't have to be induced. Did you sleep better last night?

Any plans we had for the garden have been put on hold, but actually, I'm pleased for once to see the rain. It's topping up the water butts and the garden definitely needs a good downpour.

BT said Thursday. Not my lucky time, Cleaner decided to stop on the day she was coming to me. GD has seen to my bed and now I have to find a new cleaner. Is there going to be a number three? I am not a mobile user so now I have a headache trying to let family and friends know my mobile number. BT say Thurs. I now have a smart new Alarm but no phone.

I am going to get some lunch and try to get rid of this headache, be back later.

I think I might have found a new cleaner, she is coming to see me tomorrow, fingers crossed everyone. I am having a fine old time trying to use my mobile whilst I haven’t got my landline, Sil says BT are not coming until Thursday! I am going to sit in my chair with a cup of tea and a biscuit and watch some television now.

Shame the rain stopped play in your house Daisy, pics when it is finished please.

Oma, Mil still in hospital I presume. New television on the way, I am useless getting used to new gadgets now. I don’t like to keep worrying Sil.

Gemini, I hope all goes well for S at the hospital.

Daisy, we both like Hawaiian pizza. Hubby also likes the four cheese one.

Gem, hope OH's scan goes well.

Its been an easy day for me. Spent the morning browsing and buying in town.
Done a bit of tidying up,and cleaned the dishwasher.

I took a couple of skirts to town to be shortened.
Could have done them myself, but couldn't be bothered.
They won't be done until another 2 weeks, she said they were packed out with work.
Fortunately, i don't need them in a hurry.
I think a lot of people are having things repaired oraltered, rather than buying new.

Oma, hope your Great niece doesn't have to wait much longer.

As you say Daisy the rain is needed for our gardens.

Plant, fingers crossed for the new cleaner.

It was an easy morning at the library. I went to Tesco before going home.

I am now in the car park of the other Tesco ( across town) where the mobile scanners live. So much better coming here than the hospital, even though slightly further away. Not only easy and free parking, it's not a hospital and that can only be a positive in my book!

Plant, I was reading the other day that adapting personal alarms to operate on the digital network is a worry for a lot of people. The old land lines worked in a power cut, but of course digital "land lines" don't. I hope the new cleaner was someone you liked and who will do a good job for you. My OH hates using his mobile, but just lately he's had to use it more and he's gradually getting used to it. He's even on WhatApp and can send photos!! It's really just learning one thing at a time at our age I suppose, so learning on a need-to-know basis.
Nanto, Hawaiian pizza is my OH's absolute favourite as well, and I like to too. Let us know when it's on the menu! I suppose at one time a lot of people did their own alterations and repairs, and even made clothes from scratch, but not so much now, so the professionals are much busier. At least you're not in a hurry for the skirts.

Gem, having mobile facilities like that is wonderful and definitely worth the extra distance. I know what you mean about hospitals. Even our lovely local hospital is still a hospital! I know you won't have any results, but I hope S is ok. It's so stressful, I know. Sending you both hugs.

The rain stopped here mid-afternoon and although it wasn't hot, it was quite pleasant. We did a few odd jobs around the garden - OH repotted a couple of Cannas that were pot bound and I swept the patio. We've put a couple of logs in the pond to give creatures a hand to get out of the water, and OH moved round some of the rocks on the rockery so they blended in better. Dinner was all ready in the slow cooker, so a nice easy night for the current Chef. After dinner we took Eva for a walk, and she's now lying on the landing fast asleep!

                Morning ladies.
As you see by the time no sleep for me

                Gem
So much easier and I think less stressful when you can go to the mobile units ,
Fingers crossed for S , hopefully it's nothing to worry about but best to get started on any treatment fast if that's what she needs, give both of you hugs from us xx

                Plant
I hope your new cleaner is suitable and you like her ,
Difficult when you have to get someone you don't know isn't it.

                Nanto
It takes me ages just to thread my sewing machine now,
Wobbly hands and poor vision doesn't help.
So sometimes you have to resort to a seamstress don't you.
                B likes a good pizza, I don't mind a slice but couldn't eat a lot.
He likes anything with pineapple so Hawaiian would sound good to him.

                Daisy
The pond sounds like it's coming on a treat,
Did you enjoy the walk with Eva?

                  Good morning.
Hope you managed a bit of sleep Oma. I've been there many times.

                  Gem,hope OH's scan went well.

Plant, hope you get sorted soon with a new cleaner.

Not much to do for me today. I daresay I'll find something.

We are going for a pub meal today. A different pub to where we usually go. They have sent a voucher for 30% off, so we are going to take advantage of it.

                    Good morning everyone.

Daisy,I'm glad you felt up to light gardening and a walk with Eva.

Oma, I hope you get a nap today.

Nan2, I hope the pub meal is good. 30% discount is worth going for!

Pub lunch for us today as well. We are going out with my auntie to a pub about 15 minutes drive from her. Friends have highly recommended it.
Aqua for me this morning. No coffee afterwards as I will come straight home and get ready to go over to my auntie's.

                      Good Wednesday morning, everyone.

Oma, I'm sorry you had another poor night's sleep. Are you going to have a little nap to help you through the day? Any news about your great-niece's baby or your MIL?

Nanto, that is a good discount - I hope it's a nice pub, but at least it means no cooking for you today.

Gem, I know you always enjoy seeing your auntie, and going to a pub that's been so well recommended will be lovely. Will you sit outside if it's nice enough?

Plant, I hope you're feeling a bit less stiff than the other day. Is it your games afternoon?

It's quite pleasant here today, the sun's shining, but it's not too hot. OH and I are both going to take Eva to dog training today. I don't want to go on my own in case I don't feel like driving back. OH hasn't watched Eva in training for several years, so it will be interesting to see if she is distracted by having him there. He's just gone to the garden centre to get some compost so we can carry on with the repotting. Dinner is in the slow cooker, so no extra cooking for us when we get home.

                      Have a good day! xxx

                        Been to Asda and Sainsbury's,
Going in to see MIL this afternoon and she wanted some things.
She wanted knickers from M&S as well but there was a bump on the roundabout to get into it and we were not hanging around for it to clear.
I feel drained but won't get a nap today so just plod on .

                        Gem
I hope Auntie enjoys lunch out , I'm sure she will at least she appreciates anything you do for her 🙂

                        Nanto
                        30% off isn't to be sniffed at , hope it's a nice meal .

                        Daisy
No news yet , he is happy and cosy in there .
I bet Eva is giddy having daddy there as well , she might want to show off😁
It's intermittent rain and sun here but it's warm .

New cleaner starting next week. Telephone engineer fixed the telephone problem, our neighbour had cut the cable to our property, he had narrowly missed the power cable. So all’s right with the world. Oh and window cleaners have been and he cleaned the inside of my kitchen window for me which I dare not attempt.

All good news then Plant ,
Nice of him to do the inside,
My mother had a window cleaner who did the insides of all her windows.
You don't seem to get that service these days ,

                            Went to see MIL ,
Hadn't been there 30 minutes and they came to take her to play bingo and socialise so we got away early 😁

It's raining hard at the moment ,
I did want to get out in the garden.
We have a eucalyptus tree and it's not getting enough light so DD is having it to go in her garden that gets lots of sun .
I did want to get it lifted and in the pot we already have prepared for it.
It will have to wait another day or so.
To be honest I'm too tired today anyway.

Plant, so glad to hear about your new cleaner and your telephone problems being fixed!

I bet you are too tired Oma xx

Daisy, good idea for your OH to go with you to dog training for now .

We had a lovely lunch and time with Auntie G. We drove her home and stayed for for a cuppa and more chat .
We sat inside for lunch as there was a rain shower just before we arrived, and it was breezy. Auntie is 96, we don't want her getting a chill

Plant, I'm glad to see you've got a new cleaner, and also that the phone is fixed. No wonder it wasn't working with the cable cut! I hope it doesn't rain now you've had your windows cleaned.

Oma, it's been a long day for you, feeling so tired. Sleep well tonight. I love eucalyptus trees. We had a lovely one in our garden, and we asked the tree man to trim it when he was doing some other work. He took far too much off and it died!

Nanto, did the pub live up to its reputation? I hope you enjoyed it.

Gem, your Auntie is amazing. I know you enjoy seeing her, and it was much better to sit inside if it was too chilly for her out.

Dog training went very well. Eva behaved as though she'd never been away, and OH took over handling her when I got too tired.
