Am in Cambridge for a couple of days before heading down to Aldeburgh on the Suffolk Coast, my happy place!
Been to see the solicitor today and then hospital tomorrow afternoon for an MRI scan for a long standing problem. Hopefully it won't take too long and that there's no developments.
I'd forgotten how manic Cambridge can be with all the tourists! I did remember some of the back street shortcuts so avoided most of the busy areas!
Weather forecast not great for the next few days, but I've got my wet weather gear with me!

Sounds as if MiL is enjoying the social side of hospital Oma. Maybe she'll go out a bit more when she's finally home.

Glad Eva wasn't affected by you both being at training Daisy! Hope you're feeling better too.

Plant, that was a bit naughty of your neighbour not to tell you what he'd done with the cables. Glad it's all sorted now though.

Hope everyone else and partners are doing OK.

    Take care xx
Believe you can and you're halfway there.

Good morning ladies, drizzling this morning.

We enjoyed our meal out yesterday, we have eaten there before. We had told sis in law we were going, but they have had a busy week. They weren't sure if they would be able to make it or not , but they did. They came back to ours for a cuppa after.

Gem,glad you had a nice meal with auntie.

      WeeGranny, enjoy your break.

Daisy, it was good for you to have help at dog training.

I'm hoping to get my wardrobe sorted this morning, if I get time.

Dinner is salad with chicken goujons.

        Good morning ladies.

WG I hope you have fine weather for your jaunt to the coast.

Drizzle and grey here too Nan2.

Little E is coming for the morning. His daddy will pick him up after an early lunch. They will then drop us at the hospital for OH's appointment and we will catch the bus back.
Our cat sitter is dropping in briefly this morning too, so a busy morning.

Good morning Ladies, apologies for my absence but the last 8 eeks or so have been super busy with balancing family and work time, I have spent more time recently in other peoples homes caring for them than my own home, but all worth it as so very passionate about my work .
Some news to share my DDD is now 20 weeks into her pregnancy, she is doing so well, looking after little bubba amazingly, we went for the 20th week scan yesterday and all is fab, we celebrate with a gender reveal party on saturday for my DDD, I know the big secret but will make the time to announce the gender over the weekend
My DL and DDS have baby #2 due in 3 half weeks time it seems like a whirlwind time for them, gone so fast, they are having a little boy calling him Archie 😃

As some of you ladies know my DDM Glammananna was a great participate here and she would talk about her Darling John, and how she was hos Queen Bee, so last week after lunching with my DDS#4, I went and took the plunge and had a tattoo done in their memory, The meaning of the image that i will post is. Mum was the Queen Bee, Dad had a distinctive Mosquito Tattoo on his hand and I was Mums petal when younger .

I do hope you are all well, and I will take some time on my rest periods to have a little catch up with all your news.

Have a lovely day everyone x

                      Good Thursday morning, everyone.

Gem, you and your OH are very much in my thoughts today. I know how stressful it is, and I'm hoping for the very best outcome. xxx

Oma, what delightful news to cheer up a wet day. I like Myles as a name, and I hope your great niece hopefully went into labour naturally.

WeeGranny, it's always better if the sun shines on your happy place, but it's still a happy place even in the rain. I used to feel like that when we had a static caravan in Anglesey. The weather never put us off. I'm sure Cambridge must be very busy with tourists, but well done on avoiding the worst of the crowds. I do hope the MRI scan gives you good news. Have you had one before? I was surprised that I could choose any music I wanted when I had one. I chose Tibetan pipe music which was very relaxing.

Nanto, oh dear, no outing to the pub today! Still if we went out every day we'd stop appreciating it I suppose. Did you get your wardrobe sorted?

Nannie D-Ange, our posts crossed. I know what a busy lady you are, so it's lovely of you to take the time to catch up with us all. Caring for others is such an important job, and you clearly love doing it. I bet your clients have big smiles on their faces when they see you. I've never been brave enough to have a tattoo, but I love the symbolism of yours. Your Queen Bee will always be in our hearts and your Mum and Dad hold such special memories for you. How exciting that your DD is half way through her pregnancy. With Archie due in less than 4 weeks I can see lots of family celebrations for you.

I'm quite tired after yesterday, but have no urgent jobs to do before we take Eva to DS2's this evening. It's another early hospital appointment for me tomorrow, but at least it gets it over and done with.

I got my wardrobe sorted. Only about 4 items to go to the charity shop.

We've had some heavy showers today and its quite cool.

Daisy, make sure you take it easy.

Ladies, I've had a very lazy day - nothing more demanding than cooking some rice to have with the chicken casserole!

Oma, there will be no excuse about Myles' birthday. It's already a special day for you.

Nanto, well done on sorting out your wardrobe. It's a job I keep putting off!

We've had lots of rain, but it's stopped now. I'm just going to feed Eva and then we'll take her over to DS2's for her sleepover.
