Daisy, nothing wrong with a slow relaxing start to the day.
Its a long long time since we had duck,so its the first time i've done it in the air fryer.
It was very nice,i've put some on this weeks Asda order.

Oma, i could eat the pancakes and bacon, but without the maple syrup.

Hallelujah, the bench has been sprayed this morning.

Gem, soldiering on is what we women do.

    Lizzie, happy mothers day.

DD and Sil back tomorrow, not til late. GD1, her OH and H have gone to GS1 house to play with her cousins. We are having a take-away this evening to thank them for looking after me.I am thinking of ordering a Rollator to get me walking again, see what DD says.

Oma, I would have had the pancakes too, I often have scotch pancakes for breakfast. Thinking of B liking burnt ends, I understood that burnt meat is carsnagenic. Good news about Mil.

Productive day for you and OH in spite of missing your Sat out.

Gemini, sorry to hear you are suffering with either a cold or hay fever. We are having a lot of wind, I suppose that blows the pollen around.

Daisy, Good that you had a slower morning, you can’t fight tiredness. Take care and I hope you will be able to get away in your caravan.

Nanto, I like duck, I must put some on my order.

Looks like MIL has another infection, she's hallucinating making strange phone calls to his sister and talking nonsense,
She said B had stormed into the ward this morning banged into her legs then left without speaking ,
She got his sister to go down said she was sitting outside in the cold waiting to go home and the nurses had refused to call a taxi for her ,
        No such thing
Seems to have taken a step backwards.
She told his other sister this afternoon the old lady in the bed opposite who is 93 was having sex with her husband ,
His sister said poor old things can barely walk never mind have sex 😁

Oh dear Oma, hopefully they will get your MIL sorted out .

Glad to hear your nephew is improving Nan2.

I think the walking aid is probably a good idea Plant. It doesn't mean you have to use it all the time but it will be there when you need it

Another busy day for guests J came for lunch. Just before she left our good friends G and A unexpectedly arrived, so we spent some more time with them in the garden!

              Good morning. Nice bright morning.

One job today is sweeping and hoovering the artificial grass on the patio.

Gem, busy day for you yesterday with visitors.

Chips , egg and peas or beans for dinner.

                Morning Nanto/ ladies

                Nanto
It's very overcast and grey here but supposedly will get brighter after lunch,
                A. Different day to yesterday , I'm glad I got a big load of washing out it dried beautifully.
B hoovered out artificial grass the other day,
SIL is ordering me new and will put that down when it comes so we didn't do much to it just a tidy up.
Hope your nephew is on the up , have they said what caused it , did he have headaches with it?

                Gem
Lots of lovely visitors yesterday I bet that kettle was never off or did you indulge in a glass of something 😁
Hope S has a lovely birthday today xx

                Plant
My elderly neighbour has just bought a rollator, she's finding in very useful,
She went out with it on Friday and she put her shopping bag on the seat , she said having it to hold onto and being able to sit on it when she got a bit tired made her feel more confident.

                Daisy how are you today?
Has J got anymore eye appointments coming up?
You will feel like you live at the hospital 😁

                Lizzie
I haven't heard of a pancake cruise that sound really interesting,
I'm going to Google it 😁

B has a chest x-ray at 10 at our local primary care then a bone density scan at the hospital at 3 ,
We will then go around to the wards to visit MIL see how the land lies there

The heavens have opened its belting down here.

                  Good morning everyone.

Oma, I hope you find MIL improved today. A day of appointments for B!
The kettle was on a lot! We did put a bottle of white wine in the fridge, but in fact we all drunk either tea or cold soft drinks. Had I known G and A were coming I would have made a jug of Pimm's though!

It is a dull overcast morning BBC weather assures us this is temporary and we are in for another sunny day .
It is OH's birthday and we are going to Burnby Hall gardens, her choice. It's a lovely place with lily ponds, very greedy large fish and a good cafe. The tulip festival is just ending there.
I think DD and GS2 plan to call in after school with OH's present.
Not sure if birthday girl would like a takeaway tonight, or we could pop into M&S on our way home and pick up something nice.

Gemini, I keep being taken off chat, I have to go to Forums and re-load it, perhaps it is because I have occasionally not posted on it. . That sounds like a lovely day out for S’s birthday.

Oma, I hope your Mil is better today. Had she got a temperature? I hope B’s check ups are okay.

Daisy, I hope you are feeling stronger today.

Nanto, have a nice day. I hope your nephew continues to feel better.

                          Good Monday morning, everyone.

Nanto, what a pretty graphic to start the day. Thank you. What colour is the bench? I'm sure you said, but I can't remember.

Oma, has your MIL got a UTI? That could cause her erratic behaviour. I hope they can help her. A busy day for B, but good that the doctors keep a careful eye on him.

I'm feeling very tired and lethargic today. There's no particular reason, and I slept well, just zero energy. Yes, OH has an eye appointment on Wednesday, and our kind neighbour is taking him. If I feel like I do now I couldn't drive us home, and the eye department is busy, crowded and neither of us want me to risk picking up some infection there. On Thursday Eva has a vet's appointment to have her anal gland washed out under sedation, and on Friday, it's back to the hospital for my treatment! A busy week of the sort you don't really want.

Gem, I'm glad the sun has come out for S's birthday. Enjoy the outing to Burnby Hall gardens - it sounds a lovely place. Yes, definitely do something nice for this evening as well. As you said in the Birthday thread, we must celebrate every milestone and enjoy living in the moment. The sun is playing its part for her!

Plant, the walker sounds a good idea, there to use when you feel it would help, and give you confidence. It will be good to have the family back home.

Lizzie, a pancake cruise sounds fun. Has your intercom been fixed yet?

As I said, today feels like a bit of a write off for me. I've learned you just have to go with the flow, but this Friday is the end of the second cycle of treatment. OH is being great and cheers me up when I need it! Yesterday our en suite shower broke - I think it's the pump. We've got a shower over the bath in the main bathroom, but it's nowhere near as nice as ours. OH has just spoken to the company, and given our shower is about 11 years old, we've gone for a whole new shower with a 5 year guarantee, rather than a repair. Ouch, but hopefully worth it!

It's dull and overcast and rained a bit this morning. Not enough to be good for the garden though!

Yes she's had a UTI for a few weeks but I think like last year she needs a different antibiotic,
I'm going to ask to speak to a Dr when we go in , we don't want her getting like she did last year .

That shower won't be cheap but when your used to that type a over bath one doesn't cut the mustard does it 😁
Take it easy today go with what your body is telling you.

Daisy, sorry you're feeling too good.

The bench has been painted in Summer Damson.

Oma,I don't know what symptoms nephew had, but I intend to ask him.
                              Hope B's appointments go well.

Not had any rain here, sun has been shining since first thing.
Dried the washing in no time.

GD1 phoned to ask if I was home, I was going to aqua, but, a bit too warm on the bike so she came, whilst she did s few errands for me I got her trousers finished! She has gone home in them and is really pleased, I had got the blazer cut out, I got the together with pins, she tried it on so now I can make a start on that.

                                I love the bench Nanto.

Daisy, take it easy if you are not feeling well. It does seem a busy week for you both though.

Gem, I have been to Burnby hall gardens, I have photo's of the girls feeding the massive fishes! It will be nice to walk round now with all the lovely flowers blooming.

Plant, I hope you get a walker, where I go for my medical training they show the patients how to walk with them.

Daisy, the boy was working on the intercom and when GD1 came back from the shops it was working so I hope that it still is.

I went to the village with GD1 on her way home and treated her to an ice cream and myself to a very good cappuccino , I had one in the hospital last week and it was almost cold and very weak, this one was very good, I did tell the young man that!
