    Nanto
    The bench is lovely.

    Lizzie
I bet GD is pleased with her trousers,

We have been to see MIL she was quite lucid today,
    Chatty and laughing .
Spoke to the Dr they are refering her to the Alzheimer's team for an assessment,
I asked for her water to be tested again he said yes they would get that done today if possible,
They came to take her for a CT scan just as we were leaving and are getting an appointment arranged to see the eurology about her incontinence issue.
He seemed a lot more on the ball than some .

Nanto, that damson colour is lovely - a very good choice. Is there any further news about your nephew?

Lizzie, I'm sure your GD is thrilled with her new trousers. She's so lucky to have a clever gran who can make clothes to fit with her being so tall. Fingers crossed the intercom is now properly fixed. Coffee's one of those things that have to be right, isn't it. I've got a lovely friend who makes the most awful coffee and I've learned to always ask for tea instead.

Oma, it's good to hear MIL is more relaxed and chatty today. The doctor is being proactive, which makes everything easier.

Plant, I'm not sure why you have to go through Forums to get to chat, but it's not because you might not post every day. That shouldn't make any difference. Are you using a laptop or a tablet?

I am still having a lazy day, but the weather has improved and we've now got a bit of sun.

Daisy, the consultant put him on steroids, and they seem to be helping.
He's hoping he can come back to our local hospital to continue his treatment.

Lizzie, you are so talented with your sewing.

Nanto, I'm pleased to hear the steroids are helping your nephew. Eyesight is so precious, and you can't help worrying. Wish him all the best.

Nan2 I hope your nephew's treatment is moved to his local hospital.

Lizzie those fish are enormous aren't they?!

Daisy, I hope you feel better for the restful day. You just have to try to go with the flow during these treatment periods.

We had a very nice day, the weather was perfect.
We have to pass DD3's house on our way home so as she had forgotten to give OH her birthday card yesterday we called in, picked it up and stayed for a cuppa.
We knew DD and GS2 were coming after school, but before they arrived OH's godson and his mum arrived. So another sociable day!

Still croaky but feeling a lot better than I did yesterday.
            Night everyone

              Good morning, sun is shining.

Gem,glad you are feeling a bit better.

Daisy, hope you feel better today.
Very kind of your neighbour to take J for his appointment tomorrow.

              Oma, how is MIL doing.

Seeing as we didn't go out shopping on Saturday, I'm going into town with hubby. He'll meet his pal for a couple of hours and then we'll meet up to come home.

I want to go to the butchers and iceland.

DS2 and DIL go to Lanzarote today.

Took a homemade cottage pie out of the freezer yesterday so that's dinner sorted.

Good morning Nan2 and everyone else calling in today.

                Lovely Tuesday greeting Nan2
We are booked to go to Lanzarote in October.

Golf day for OH. Library for me this morning. This afternoon I am collecting little E from nursery early and taking him to their house and looking after him until DD3 gets in from work. It's to make DD's life a bit easier with SIL away all week. Little E is very excited about the idea!

Good morning ladies! Well after an afternoon of thunder, rain and hail the like of which I’ve never seen I was pleased to wake up to sunshine. The noise on my velux windows was deafening and I was convinced one of them would break! It was like a river running down the road! Seemingly it was very localised as the storm missed the next village!
No art today as our teacher is having a hernia operation so I think I might hit( well try to) some balls at the driving range. Need to get some things from hobbycraft which is in the same area so I’ll go there too. Then an afternoon cleaning up the mess left by the storm.
Have a good day whatever you’re up to ladies. Hope all poorly people are feeling better today. Xx

                      Good Tuesday morning, everyone.

Nanto, enjoy your little shopping trip. I hope dS2 and DIL have a lovely holiday in Lanzarote.

Gem, you are having a busy time with visitors - but it's lovely to see people, isn't it. I can just imagine how excited GS3 will be, and it's good of you to help out while SIL is away. I'm pleased to hear you're feeling a bit better.

Oma, poor B - toothache is horrible. You certainly had a good sleep last night. Do you feel better for it?

WeeGranny, I saw localised storms on the weather forecast, but it sounds as though you got one of the best. I can imagine how loud the rain must have been on your Velux windows in your bedroom. We've got them in our dining room and kitchen and that's loud enough during a heavy downpour. Good luck on the driving range!

I feel a bit less tired than yesterday, but can't motivate myself to do much. It's DIL2's birthday today, and we'd like to go and see her this evening to take her card and presents, but at the moment I don't feel up to it. We'll see how the day goes.

I do feel more normal than usual after a good sleep.
B rang dentist and got in straight away,
It was an exposed root so she cleaned it and put a packing in , he has to go back for a root canal filling but not till July unless the packing comes out in the meantime.

You need to just rest while you can and listen to your body.

I can imagine the sound of the hail and rain on the Velux window it must have sounded like drums 😁
Hopefully the weather is a bit better today on the driving range,

WG, That storm didn’t cause us much of a problem but GSā€s garden at the back of you took a bashing and Cosy Corner was flooded.

Oma, wow that was a good sleep. I hope B doesn’t have any problem with the tooth until dentist can fill it.

Daisy, what a shame but if you don’t feel up to making a visit to family I am sure you will be sensible and go another day.

Gemini, busy lady with friends and family, you will meet yourself coming back (as the saying goes). Enjoy the time with GS3.

Nanto, enjoy your day out that you missed on Sat.

I have a Trefoil meeting this afternoon with my G Guiding friends. DD and Sil back from France. They have brought me some chocolate and some wine.

Wow, i haven't had time to come here since 8.30 this morning.

Had a coffee in town with hubby, then we went our seperate ways.
Met up later to come home.
We have had visitors all afternoon. Everyone seems to congregate at our house.
Anyway, i enjoyed my trip into town. Went to the butchers and stocked up on meat.
Had a browse around then went to iceland.
There was a bit of a commotion in iceland. A chap had packed his bags at the till then scarpered without paying.
The girl on the till said he had about £50 worth of items.
Don't know if security caught up with him or not,but they are not allowed to search anyone.

Oma, glad B got his tooth sorted.

Nanto, Plant is right. You make your visitors feel welcome and wanted. It's a lovely way to be. Shoplifting seems to be getting worse, and it sounds as though the shops can't do much to stop it. OI hope they did catch the thief today.

Plant, it sounds as though you missed the worst part of the storm that kept WeeGranny awake last night. How was your Trefoil Meeting? Enjoy your wine and chocolate.

Gem, did GS3 enjoy his afternoon? I bet he was excited. It must have been a lovely day out on the golf course for S if you had weather like ours.

Oma, thank goodness B didn't have to wait ages to see the dentist. I hope the packing lasts until the dentist does the root canal filling. That sounds painful and expensive. Fingers crossed you have another good night's sleep tonight.

It's been a beautiful day here, but I spent about 10 minutes in the garden just filling the bird feeders and tucking some honeysuckle into the supports and had to go and lie down. It was just too warm for me, but usually I love this weather. We didn't go to see DIL2 tonight. I still didn't feel great and GD2 got home from school with a headache and feeling sick. They are doing SATS this week and she's really taken it to heart, even though everyone is telling her not to worry about them.
