I had almost no sleep last night. This is the worst ibs flare I have had in decades. I thought the diarrhoea I had yesterday afternoon was it over with, but then the pain set it in the early hours and didn't let up. I have taken buscopan and used a hot water bottle throughout the night. It is quite a bit easier now so fingers crossed.
Little E day. We are also going to see GD in a dance show. It starts at 6.30 and it's a half hour drive, so E is being picked up early today.

Poor you I bet your not feeling great today, hopefully by the time GDs recital you will feel more human xxxx

We could do with something like that, not everyone has transport to get to the tips that are few and far between.
We taking MIL to Dalton park today she wants to go to Pavers for new shoes, then across the road to the big Morrisons,
Dreading it to be honest but we will grin and bear it.
Had very little sleep so in no mood for her,
Been to Aldi and housework done so have some time before we pick her up.
Well MIL got two pairs of shoes,
We then went to Costas for a drink ,then we went to Morrisons and did her shopping ,
She was actually ok. A few times I wanted to strangle her but on the whole not a bad shopping trip.
Dropped her off made her a cup of coffee and she was going to have a snooze.
Plant I had brie and caramelised onion sandwich for lunch yesterday at a cafe. There was about as much brie as you would buy in wedge. I should have realised when I ate it it was far too much for my digestion to cope with. I have to limit my dairy intake.
Oma, at least MIL wasn't as bad as she could be!
Little E has had rather a lot of CBeebies time today to give grandma a rest! I have said no more after his nap though, we will play until SIL gets here. I can tell I am tired. I completely forgot SIL had left some curry and rice in the fridge for E's lunch and I made him something else!
OH is away with golf today so its just been E and me.

Just trying to catch up. I don't know where this morning went, but it seemed to go very quickly.
Nanto, happy birthday to your Hubby. I hope he's enjoying his special day and has had a few welcome visitors.
Oma, I laughed out loud at your comment that MIL was ok on the shopping trip and you only wanted to strangle her a few times!!!!
Gem, your Auntie G is amazing, no wonder you enjoy meeting up with her. I do hope your flare up is over now. It sounds horrendous, and you must be tired after being in so much pain. It's a busy day for you with little E and your GD's dance show tonight. I hope she enjoys it. Does she get nervous?
Plant, I hope you're feeling better. I'm sure having H and family back home helps. Did she enjoy her holiday?
Lizzie, happy birthday to your niece. Is she celebrating today or waiting for the week-end? That mobile rubbish unit looks very efficient, and it's certainly convenient. What a good idea. Your GDs have very busy lives, but they always look and sound cheerful and happy. xx
There's nothing much happening here today. OH and I shared the cooking at lunch time, so we'll just have a sandwich tonight. We have to take Eva over to DS2's as I have a hospital appointment tomorrow morning. But we're going later as GD1 has karate tonight and her Mum has to stay with her (long story which I'll write about sometime) also GD2 has got her school leaving party this evening. Both events finish at 7 o'clock so picking up GD2 is complicated.
GD2's leaving party sounds fun, with games and I think, laser ball, food, music and goodness knows what else. It's hard to believe tomorrow is her last day at junior school. She has loved being at the school, but the next adventure beckons and her new school is just a few minutes' walk from her current one. They have had several induction days and half days, and all her friends are going to the same school, so it shouldn't be too daunting.

Nanto, yes, I think GD2 is looking forward to her new school. But the holidays are her main preoccupation at the moment. They all arrived home when we were there dropping off Eva. GD2 looked very grown up in shorts and a sleeveless top. The leavers' party had been brilliant fun and she was very excited. It was a pity GD1 couldn't call in to see her Dad today, but it sounds as though it was a sad one for her. It will be good to see her tomorrow though.
Plant, I bet you can hardly believe H will be starting First School in September. They're not babies for long, are they. Is the school close by?
Gem, I hope you sleep well and feel better tomorrow.
Oma, I hope you have a better night as well - you must be tired after today.

Good night everyone.
I'm feeling a lot better and hope to get a decent night's sleep and be back to normal tomorrow 🤞
We really enjoyed the dancing show which I will tell you about tomorrow .

Good morning. Thunderstorms forecast for this morning.
Gem,glad you are feeling better.
GD1 and her family are coming today, not sure what time. They couldn't come yesterday on grandads birthday, they were at a friend's funeral.
Hubby out later for his Friday meet up,but i don't think visitors will be here until later.
Steak, thin fries, mushrooms and peas for dinner.
Sometimes I forget to like posts, but that doesn't mean I don't like them.
Nan2 and Oma, thunderstorms forecast for us too.
Sunny and very warm at the moment.
Gosh Plant, school for little H in September! Little E will follow the year after unless they decide to send him the following year
Your GD2's leaving party did sound fun Daisy. It seems no time since you were picking her up from playgroup!
We loved the dance show last night and I will make a thread about it today.
We have dropped OH's car at the garage. It needs a new part, which luckily they have in , so it will be done today.
GS1 is coming for the day. No GS2 as it's the last day of school and early finish and he's doing something with his mum after school.
Cats to the vets this afternoon. The poor things are overrun with fleas We treat them every month with the recommended stuff, and only gave them the latest a week or so ago. So we want the vets advice.

Gem, when I had the dog someone told me to put fresh garlic in his food, he never had fleas, even after the stay at the dog hotel he never came back with fleas.
