Morning ladies
A bit dull out, hopefully it will get brighter.
I have a few things being delivered today, new TV unit and MILs phone,
B ordered a senior one with big buttons and no fancy bits so hopefully this will suit her.

If they come early enough I want to go to our big Asda in the next town.
I want a white top from there if they have them , our two local ones only have it in black, or white in a size 8.
It wouldn't fit on one arm 🤣

They are only lightweight vest tops in a sort of silky fabric, very cheap and I wear them for bed .
I woke to go to the loo during the night blew my nose and had a massive nose bleed
Took ages to stop by then I was awake, I did eventually fall off to sleep 🙄

Hope everyone is well today and get at least a little bit of sunshine .

Nanto, a cute teddy bearing flowers is a lovely start to the working week. Your freezer will be full to bursting point soon, but it's great to have a choice of stand bys.

Gem, that sounds like a very pleasant day for you. Have you chosen a colour for your summer nails? Hopefully, packing will be a good distraction for your OH and help her to keep her mind on your holiday - not long now.

Oma, I was wondering if your MIL had a "senior" phone. Fingers crossed she's happy with it. I'm sure B will have fun setting up the new TV. Isn't it frustrating when the colour you want is in a totally wrong size!

We've got a bit of sun at the moment, and at least it's dry. So probably more gardening for us today, and washing the bedding so it can go out on the line.

Just taken my car into the garage, hopefully just for a service. Not sure how long I will be without it. Overcast and quite chilly here.

Gem, very exciting getting ready for your holiday. I haven’t painted my nails for years now, perhaps I should start again.

Daisy, busy in the garden again, it must be ready for inspection now after a slow start.

Oma, I hope Mil’s new phone will be the answer. I hope you find the vest tops you want. I wonder why you had a nose bleed after you blew your nose, be careful you don’t start it bleeding again.

I sometimes get nose bleeds if I sneeze to hard or blow it hard
But not usually during the night.

Hope the car doesn't turn out to be expensive and everything is ok.
It's damp and chilly here too.

Well the TV stand came and we had over estimated the size , its huge so going back,
Shame really as it's lovely.
Couldn't get my vest tops I will have to look else where.

Plant, I hope it's not a major service on your car. We're still catching up with jobs in the garden. I've done some deadheading today, a bit of weeding and swept most of the patio. It was too windy to finish it. OH has repotted a couple of plants, and planted one plant out to fill a space in the garden. We're still playing catch up after starting a major revamp two years ago. Last year though we weren't able to do anything at all, but we're making progress this year. Our aim to have it densely planted to try and keep down the weeding we need to do.

Oma, fingers crossed for MIL and her new phone. What a pity about the TV stand. I think it's very hard to picture how something will look in your room when you see it in a large shop. I hope you find the vest tops somewhere else. Is there another Asda nearby, or do they do online?

It sounds as though you and OH got a few jobs done Daisy.

This morning I had coffee with two aqua friends, and posted a Vinted sale on the way home.
My toe nails are now a lovely sparkly blue
DD3 and little E came over for a while. While they were here three boys knocked on the door offering to clean cars. I said yes as mine needs doing and DD said she would have hers done too. We gave them £15 for the two cars which they were very happy with. They hadn't asked for any amount so took the risk of us paying them a couple of quid really!

I didn't get the meal done in the slow cooker.
Hubby NEEDED to go to B&Q.
This afternoon we went out visiting hubby's sister and husband.

Gem, your nails always look lovely when you've had your summer toes done. That's enterprising of those boys offering to clean cars. Hopefully all their customers would pay a reasonable rate but they're taking a risk not giving a price.

Nanto, I'm sure whatever your Hubby needed so urgently from B&Q was important. My OH would be the same.

It's been a busy evening with our friend G calling in before tea and DD and GS1 after .
A break from the 10 pm aqua booking tonight as I won't be here next week.

Daisy hubby just needed a new certain screwdriver. The one he had broke.

I'm going into town with hubby this morning. As usual he'll meet his pal, then we'll meet up for coffee before coming home.

I want to get a couple of pairs of trousers from Bon Marche.

Those are the only plans for today.

Baby potatoes, beans and bacon for dinner.

Sunny but very breezy morning here.

Nan2 I miss our Bon Marche branch. I often buy online but it was good having the option of a store, and not having to pay postage if we returned something.

We are going out for lunch to a riverside place we are fond of. The have a lovely conservatory so you have the views without the wind of being outside!
We may go for a little walk too. Then home for some packing! I started early but need to look seriously at it now.
It's a good day to get the bedding on the line too.
DD2 is calling in at some point.

I like Bon marche trousers , I'm a bit obsessed I have 15 pair of black trousers.
No one needs that many but every time I go In I buy another pair just incase.
B will say" just incase what they run out of material ?"😁

I woke with a sore throat , I'm hoping it is just a day thing,
Been to Iceland and Lidl feel a bit achy everywhere so I'm not doing much today.
B going over MILs with her new phone ,
I will be surprised if she likes it though.

Nanto, I hope the new screwdriver become your Hubby's favourite. I suppose it's a bit like having a favourite kitchen knife, or wooden spoon. I hope Bon Marche have the trousers you want.

Gem, the place you're going to for lunch sounds lovely, and being able to enjoy the view in comfort is even better. Have a lovely time.

Oma, It sounds as though you should be taking things easy today if you're feeling achy and have a sore throat. You never know, MIL might surprise you and like her new phone.

No exciting plans for us today. OH is currently out in the garden sorting out the rockery by the pond. He's cementing some of the rocks in place to try and stop rain washing the soil down on to the patio. I'll put some washing on and may run the hoover round. I'll see!

I have had a young student doing some work in the garden for me this morning. He was a very tall, strong young man at present at university wanting to earn some money. He is coming back on Thursday to finish off.
