Today has got cooler and cooler with the wind. It was still sunny though. We sat outside with a drink just before tea time and I put a cardigan on, because it was hard to tell if the sun was burning or not. OH dead headed the rambling/climbing rose (I don't know which it is) as it was too high for me - he was struggling to reach even at the top of the ladder. I cut the lawn and trimmed the edges, but didn't feel like doing anything else. The tomatoes will have to wait till tomorrow, and it was too windy to sweep the patio so that can wait too.

Some friends rang this morning and asked if we fancied a quick coffee - which we did! It was lovely to see them, and we enjoyed putting the world to rights.

OH is just making our tea, so I'd better go!

      Hello everyone.

We arrived early afternoon, came over to the airport hotel and had a couple of hours sleep.
We set our alarm and had showers and are in the hotel bar now about to eat.
I think we will have no trouble going back to sleep once we have settled out meals down

Gem, welcome back. I hope you both sleep well after your long journey. Safe trip home tomorrow. xxx

Oma, we just had a sandwich, J had cooked salmon, new potatoes and vegetables for dinner/lunch, so we weren't that hungry. At the moment, I'd rather have a cooked meal in the middle of the day, rather than at night if possible.

I'e just walked Eva and am now more than ready for bed. Night, night everyone. xxx
