if anyone is interested, this is the site of the artist and some of fantastic murals he has done, worldwide!
The murals of Utrecht-based artist Jan Is De Man are inextricably linked to the locations where they are created. The unique shape of a wall or building often inspires his compositions. Sometimes, he literally gives a house a face with his iconic eyes; other times, he incorporates the favorite books of local residents into an impressive painting of a giant bookshelf. His art always emerges in harmony with its surroundings. What began as a rebellious act with spray paint has evolved into a mission to make people smile, spark their imagination, and occasionally convey a timely message.
Gem, I had the same idea, I could see Oma "hoovering" the sausages!!!

Good Sunday morning, everyone.
Nanto, I'd probably chose tuna mayo as well - it's one of my favourites for sandwiches and jacket potatoes. Enjoy your leisurely day.
Gem, It will do s the world of good to get out on the golf course and take her mind of her diagnosis. I'm glad you were able to persuade her to go, and I hope the forecast storms don't start before she's finished her round. It's good to get the paperwork out of the way before your holiday.
Oma, enjoy your usual Sunday get together, and if the sun's shining so much the better. A huge 'well done' to your GS on getting a double A on one of his courses. I'm sure not many of those marks are handed out, so he's a star.
Lizzie, that mural on the flats is amazing. I'm sure lots of people must stop and read the titles. What a talented man he is. How are you feeling today?
Today has started nice and sunny and most of the rain from yesterday has dried up. OH is cleaning the front garden path - it's needed doing for ages, and is looking very grubby. I'm just going to have a shower and then do something useful in the garden. Not sure what yet as there are plenty of jobs to choose from. I've got tomato plants still in pots, so I may plant those out and stake them before they flop over.

Oma, well done to GS.
Gem, hope the golf takes OH's mind off the results.
Lizzie,the mural looks very good.
So far, its been a day of sun and cloud. Would feel a bit warmer if it wasn't for the wind.
I've made some plain mash and carrot and swede mash to restock the freezer.Sometimes I forget to like posts, but that doesn't mean I don't like them.

Daisy
I'm sure you will find plenty to potter with but don't push too hard, remember to take a break π
Yes a bit confusing when I say I vacuumed them ,
I should have said my food vacuum machine and bags π€£π€£
Had a lovely couple of hours with the family ,
We then went to B&M for a few things , well you never just get a few things in thereπ
Then called into Lidl B wanted garlic bread , Yuk, hate the smell but he is having pasta for tea and likes garlic bread with it.
I will sleep in the spare room tonight π
He has had to go to his mother's she's messed up her mobile phone again,
She does this all the time , manages to put it on aeroplane mode or mute and has no idea how to put it right.
We have showed her so many times, even wrote it down step by step but she can't find the note we made now.
Im not fat just 6ft too small

Oma, Well done to GS, he must be bright and talented.
Gemini, I hope S enjoys her golf in spite of her health concerns, holiday getting closer.
Lissie, amazing mural.
Nanto, I like carrot and swede mashed together.
Very mixed day here, sun and wind. I canβt seem to be able to get warm without some heating. I am tempted to go in the sun room but the weather keeps on changing.
Daisy, wrap up warm if you are going in the garden. I have a young man coming on Tuesday to sort out some jobs in the garden, he is a student looking to earn some moneyWhat is life if full of care we have no time to stand and stare

How frustrating for her and B when MIL gets confused about her phone. Perhaps you need to make her several notes about her phone with photos to show what the screen looks like, and pin them around the house.
Plant, it's much the same here, and not very warm. I've only done a little bit of dead heading and easy weeding in the garden. The energy just isn't there today. I hope your young man does a good job in the garden.

Oma, Well Done to your GS1, he did well!
It's none too warm a lot of the time Plant! Whatever the season, just put the heating on or extra layers, don't be cold!
At least you got some fresh air Daisy, even if you couldn't do as much as you would have liked xx
Well I have been busy
I hung out the washing, loaded the dishwasher and had a bath. Then I did a bit of dusting and cleaned the inside living room windows and frames. This involves a step ladder and standing partly on the window sill
I'm not really tall enough for the job! Anyway it looks nice now.
I brought in the washing when dry as it had clouded over a lot, and got some cat food from the outside freezer.
Just then C and P arrived to drop off my birthday card and stayed a for a cuppa and chat. By the time they left if was turned 2 o'clock so I had a late lunch and watched last night's Casualty. OH arrived back while I was watching.
Eventually I did get the Minutes done however

Gem, you did have a busy and productive day, and even got the Minutes done as well. Did S manage to relax playing golf? I do hope so. I feel I need fresh air every day, almost no matter what the weather is doing. I felt a bit better after a rest, so went back outside for a bit more pottering. OH had cleaned the front drive and it looks much better, and also done some weeding, and repotted a canna that was too big for its pot. We stayed out later than planned, so in the end he took Eva out for a walk and I cooked dinner.

Good morning.
Gem, you certainly had a busy day yesterday.
βββNice to get jobs done though.
First job for me is cleaning the dishwasher.
Hoping to get some sliced onions, potatoes and corned beef in the slow cooker, a bit more stock for the freezer.
Can't you tell I've got a bit of room in the outside freezer.
Plant, hope the young man makes a good job of the garden.
Dinner is hubby's weekly treat of chips, egg and peas or beans.Sometimes I forget to like posts, but that doesn't mean I don't like them.
