Enfys - it's not too cold in the sunshine. It will do you both good to get out a bit, but you're right you'll have to keep an eagle eye on P - light pottering only, Mr E, or all us grannies will be nagging you.

You sometimes see people picking up horse poo in the Forest - they don't realise it's full of weed seeds because the Forest ponies graze on anything.

Waved to everyone as i cycled past.

GM, i've got excited over some things in the past, but not horse poo.
Enfys, gentle pottering might do P the world of good. Just make sure he doesn't overdo it.

Dinner is prepared. Sausage/bacon/boiled baby potatoes/sprouts(only 3 each) and cauliflower cheese.

Hope you all have a good day.

Good morning all. Its definitely colder out there this morning.

Oma that's good news about B

We do talk about all sorts on here don't we. Now its horse poo ! Daisy is right, it can be too fresh to put down at the moment and it can burn some tender plants if it touches. Yesterday we put the last of the well rotted farmhouse manure on our garden . The best about this sort is there is no smell

Have a good day every one

                Morning

                Oma A good scan result,excellent.

                Dry but dull here.

I’ve just set a new record for visits to the doctor. For the last couple of days I’ve felt as if I either had a small nick or tiny splinter in my finger. It hurt when I put pressure on it but didn’t really think much about it. Anyway it gradually got redder, hot and swollen. This morning I had to collect a prescription so asked the pharmacist for advice. She wasn’t sure what to advise but said it might be worth seeing a doctor. At our surgery we are lucky that three mornings a week it is open surgery so if you want you can sit it out to see someone. I went into the next door surgery and asked to see the doctor with the shortest list. I’d just settled down to read when I was called in,.The doctor looked about as old as my GD I was pretty sure it was an infection but she was considering a chilblain or even gout. I think she was new to GP work so didn’t want to miss anything.I tried to steer her down the road of antibiotics as I had self-diagnosed. Anyway I did get a prescription for antibiotics. ( I can’t remember when I last had any, years ago ) Back to pharmacy then home.
I’d left the house at 9.05 and was back in by 9.30.after two pharmacy visits and one GP visit.

Just had coffee now I must “get on “.
                Have a good day ladies.

Clover, your poor finger, but isn't it great when something works like clockwork. Years ago I don't remember having appointments to see the GP. You just turned up and went in in turn. Then if he got called out on an emergency you would all get up and go home and come back the next day.

Many years ago our then GP left a waiting room full of patients to come and deliver DS at the local maternity unit! Luckily I didn't keep him too long away from his patients, but he and the midwife had an argument when DS was born about putting him on Mummy's tummy or wrapping him up and taking him somewhere! I didn't care what they did, but I seem to remember they compromised and did both!

Clover, wish we had a surgery like that! Even with appointments you can be sitting waiting for ages. Sounds like a thorn or something in your finger Clover. Hope it gets better soon.

Oma...good news about B! Hopefully he'll decide he's had enough of hospital and be home soon.

OH gone for his monthly blood tests, so I'm supposedly getting on with the dreaded h********!!!

Bit brighter here today and at least it's not raining...yet!

Have a good day ladies whatever you're up to!

Ouch, that sound sore Clover. Years ago I had a whitlow on my finger and the doctor lanced it, boy did it hurt! Hope it clears up soon.

Had a nice morning in the garden, P was my gofer, and it was lovely being out in the sunshine, I managed to clear the path to the bottom of the garden so now I can get to the washing line easier and started to clear one of the beds of weeds etc. I had a little robin with me all the time, he’s so friendly and gets so close to you. We both feel better for getting outside even for such a short time and I’ll go back out this afternoon when I have Dexter here.

Clover, wish we had a surgery like yours.
Gone are the days when you just went and waited to be seen.
If you want to see a doctor at our surgery you need an appointment,
which can take o fortnight, unless you are lucky and get an emergency appointment.

                          Hi again everyone.

I'm so happy about B Oma

                          OUCH Clover!

It will have done P good to get out and about, Enfys.

I went to my meeting, came home and typed up (roughly) the minutes, then mum phoned for the Daily Moan and to give me the shopping list for tomorrow! Time for my lunch now.

Sounds like an enjoyable time you and P had in the garden Enfys, I am hoping to get a bit more done myself but not today, just back from WI and soon I am going out in search of some shoes for the wedding.

Hope your finger gets better soon Clover.

Good news Oma, B will soon be nestled up at home. It's been a fine and sunny day here. I went out at 9am to collect Bessie from the mechanic, cleaned around the edges and then got stuck into altering some throws for our sofas. Clover hope your poorly finger heals up soon. About to have a quiet 10 minutes with a cuppa and turn the heating up, it's turned quite chilly now. 🌄
