Mimi great news about your tests , it is so good to hear when our friends on hear get good results ,

Just been to the Harvesters for tea , it wasn't good ,
Frozen French fries with everything and no colour to them ,
Frozen Sweetcorn it was tasteless and like rubber goodness knows what they had done to it ,
We counted 9 meals around us that people had taken one bite of the corn and left it on the side of the plate , they must be wasting a fortune putting this out ,
Told the waiter and they took £2 off the bill , wont be going back
Im not fat just 6ft too small

Clover - it hasn't been good here either. It was showery while I was out with Eva, and I had the lights on at lunchtime - it was too dark to read without!

Oma - it's disappointing when you get a meal that bad. Perhaps it was Chef's night off! There's a chain restaurant near us which we've been to 3 times. The first time wasn't great, but we though it could be an 'off' day, the second time we were equally unlucky and the third time is was so awful and we complained. They didn't charge us at all, but we're still not going back there.

Oma, what a shame about your meal. We have never been to a Harvester.

I am okay folks, had to leave early today to go to a Guiding gathering and when I got back at 5pm my GGS was visiting and then I had to eat and watch Strickly followed by Michael McIntyre, will catch up tomorrow.

Good to hear you are OK Plant.

Bought some lovely braising steak in Sainsburys yesterday,so that is in the slow cooker, with onions for todays dinner.
We like it with mashed potatoes and cabbage.

There is a pile of ironing with my name on, so must get that done as well.

Good Sunday morning, Nanto and everyone. What a nice, peaceful graphic, Nanto - I could just sit in the sunshine and listen to that water cascading into the pool. Dinner sounds lovely - and we're off to Sainsbury's this morning, so I might be tempted by the braising steak. If I was an ironing fairy I'd wave my magic wand over your pile. I still haven't finished putting away what I ironed yesterday!

Plant - so glad you're ok. It sounds like a busy but lovely day.

It's cold but a bit of sun around this morning, so I hope it's the same for you all. Have a good day.

                Morning ladies.
Plant you certainly had a busy day. Hope you enjoyed it,I’m sure you did.
I like the Michael McIntyre show and Strictly of course.
Daisy I hope you have a good shop. It’s ages since I’ve done a physical supermarket shop apart from bits and bobs.I got in the habit of on-line shopping when I broke my ankle and it’s just been easy(lazy?) to carry on.
                Enjoy your Sunday everyone.

                  Good morning everyone.

The dinner sounds good if the ironing doesn't Nan2
I hope you had a good day Plant.
It's cold and frosty here, with some sun, similar you where you are Daisy.
OH and I are going out to deliver some leaflets later, Then we may go to my mums as OH needs to lay some new underlay beneath her hall carpet. Long story why we have to do this but it is one of the things mum feels is vitally important!

I hope everyone is OK, and those on holiday are enjoying themselves,

Clover - I'd much prefer to do online shopping - and I think I would buy more sensibly, but OH likes his tramp round the aisles (I know, very sad!) but for some reason he needs my help this morning!!! We need a new kettle and while the Nectar points offer is on (thank you Glamm for mentioning it in Bargains!) we might as well get it now. OH doesn't want sole responsibility for such an important purchase - he knows I'll moan like mad if I don't like it!

Nanto I'm not a great red meat eater but we had Braising steak the other night done in the slow cooker it melted in our mouth it was so tender , enjoy yours ,
Clover I have never done a online shop , I would if both of us couldn't get out , but we live so close to Asda, Sainsburys, Aldi, Iceland, it does not warrant it and I do like to wander the aisles I must admit ,
Plus we always see something funny when we shopping
Daisy did you get out early with Eva yesterday ?
Gem I love a good bargain , hope S gets that underlay sorted and keeps your Mum happy

OFF out to meet Friends for morning coffee and chat then go look for new winter gloves for Brian if I can drag him away from the Saw stand I bought him yesterday for his Birthday ,
Its currently standing in my kitchen and I have made all the right sounds as he showed me what it can do

Happy birthday to B for yesterday and what is a saw stand Oma?

Had a lovely day yesterday with about 80 ex-Guiders, most of them never grow up and still camp every year. It was our turn to do the hosting and the committee did it very well. I took a friend who ran a Brownie Pack with me many years ago, she has become very infirm and needs a walker but never stops smiling and would still camp if she could. After crafts and quizzes (I hate them) and lunch we were entertained by a ladies choir. Very drizzly day so driving wasn't much fun. GGS is now crawling, very entertaining, when I popped in next door to see him he gave me a lovely smile.

Dinner sounds lovely Nanto, I forgot to take something out of the freezer for today so I feel an omelette coming on.

                            What a nice day Plant

A stand to put a saw on! DH has got one for his circular saw.

Good morning, wasn’t around yesterday, not a good day for me. I’m still up and down so will keep a low profile sometimes. No particular reason, but to be expected I guess.. DH is doing well, itching to get driving again but I’m being firm.

A nice bright day today, but it looks chilly. Not much planned today but we have a lovely chicken dinner planned and will have a glass of wine too. Enjoy your Sunday everyone 🌞

Lovely and warm here, wrote in my journal that I am not enjoying this particular venue that much but at least the pool is nice and we are having some good time together. Got up this morning to loads of monkeys on the patio! They are wanting breakfast but they are not going to get it, at least not from me, or they will never leave us alone!

Not sure what we will be doing today, where we will be eating, what I am wearing. Things to think about.

I shall do an on line shop for when when we get back. I usually do Sainsbury, I did try Iceland as an experiment once a few weeks back but the delivery was due between 4 and 5 and by the time I had made loads of calls and it had got to 7.15 I told them to cancel the order. They offered a 25% off voucher for my next shop but I am afraid that didn’t tempt me at all.

If you want to go fast go alone, if you want to go far go together
