Afternoon my friends and it’s a bit blowy but warmer than last night I was flipping cold had to put a cardi on , I do hope the weather is ok for Plant and for me soon otherwise I will cry and cry 😢
OH having a better couple of days , next week will be a looonng week we have g/ c 3 days tue,wed,thur and away fri but not too early as we can’t gain access till 4 pm
No food in the house so went shopping this morning spent £96 😱 snacks, fruit, cheeses, meals, toilet rolls well there is 5 of us in the house I swear they each go thorough a roll each, oh bread yes we needed bread , water , and wine of course
Thanks for asking about OH he’s doing ok can’t speak for next week though

Turned out warm today.
If it's like this tomorrow,will probably tidy the garden.

Oma,hubby wanted a climbing rose,but they didn't have the variety we wanted.
I did get a few bits there though,and went into the butchery side. Just got some cooked meats.
Shopped in the asda near to garden centre, so all stocked up again.

Enfys,i'm sure you will see the DC again.
Gem,enjoy the theatre. Lovely to hear about family getting an upgrade.
First time we went on a cruise,was to the Caribbean,and we were upgraded to a suite.
Friends of ours went with us,and they weren't at all happy about us getting upgraded.

Sun finally come through and it's a lovely evening! Been for walk round the village with dog and he's waiting to be fed.

Thought I'd clear the ironing this morning only to find that the little pile in the basket turned out to be only part of a larger pile sitting on the bed in other room! Never mind, got it all done and the bed stripped and re-made. Nice fresh sheets tonight. If I won the lottery, I'd have clean, freshly ironed sheets every day!

Tonight we have all 4GCs for a sleep over. Hectic doesn’t do the situation justice! Obviously they all want to sleep together which is fine, but then it’s who sleeps next to who. 🙄.All is quiet for now and I have just feasted on beans on toast. (Its quick and I was starving).

WG - we've got clean sheets for tonight - just got to make the bed up though. If I won the lottery I'd send you all clean sheets every day, and someone to make the beds up for you.

Gem - I hope you have a lovely time tonight. How lucky for DD & Co to get an upgrade - I bet GD is rejoicing.

Qwerty - I feel exhausted just reading about next week. I hope you find a bit of time to relax, and also get your packing done for your holiday.

Plant - I'm glad the weather's being kind to you. Last time we went to St Ives we parked in a car park just outside the town and walked in. I love browsing in all the art galleries and shops there.

Grauntie - did you get any sleep at all? Funnily enough when I have all 4 together, they tend to entertain themselves, despite the age spread, but overnight is a different thing!

Gem - have a lovely walk with your alpacas. Are you likely to come back with some alpaca wool to knit/sew something?

OH has gone down to the allotment to dig up some potatoes and a few other odd jobs, but I didn't even wake up! Most unusual for me.

I will have to wave that hot hissy thing round a bit this morning, then this afternoon I want to start another painting. No idea what yet, but I can dream about creating a masterpiece while I'm doing the "i" job! Some hope!!!

I have survived....just! They all slept until 6, but I never sleep properly when on guard. Now they want to make sock dogs and I have a lunch for all to prepare. Somehow we will manage it. J is very good, she is 11.

Just been in the shower and I shaved where needed ,as I was smothering myself with cream I thought why do I bother im still getting wrinkly no amount of cream is stopping those bad boys
Just makes me feel better I suppose
Ah well one barrel of industrial strength moisturiser ordered , need it by the barrel load these days

All this talk of ironing, I am pleased to say I don't even know where the iron is in this house and don't intend to. Misty today, hope it lifts later, not sure if we have any plans, family are just waking up. Daisy, my DIL went into every art gallery, she is looking for a painting to put in her snug. As she lives in a household with 3 males, they converted the old kitchen into a sitting room/work room for her.
