Happy holiday and safe journey Plant. My DD2, SIL and the children are heading to Cornwall today. They stayed overnight near Birmingham last night to break the journey. I wish you all good weather!
I hope you slept well after all that dog food work Daisy!
This afternoon my mum and are are going to an afternoon tea event (Did you know it is Afternoon Tea Week?!) provided by The Wilberforce Trust, under whose care my sister is. Family of residents are invited to this event, so we accepted and are going. I will do my mum's shopping on the way to collect her.
Have a good day everyone.

Morning people yesterday was a very tiring day, we had eldest overnight and all day yesterday , sheβs a lovely well behaved little girl but boy She never shuts up , constant dialogue all the time ,we went swimming and she is an excellent swimmer , I do swim but not keen on the deep end, she would jump in the deep end go to the bottom retrieve a weighted stick thing she has gave me heart failure , we had had the twins the day before and I was knackered last night in bed by 9pm.
Having a slow start day today ,OH wasnβt at his best and gone back on the pills

Out for lunch later with our DILβs parents. We are lucky to get on very well with them, so itβs nice to meet up every so often. Have a good day everyone π

Morning ladies , well a bit of a flap this morning , Brian went for a pee and there was blood in it so rang Hospital and he's had to go through to get checked out , we have Dog and Josh comes home lunch time so he's had to go through himself ,
Rang DD and she's coming home about 11 so she will pick Dog up and be in for Josh
Could be anything and nothing but always best to get it checked , he has no pain and only a small amount but better safe than sorry .
Plant have a lovely Holiday
Gem enjoy your Tea , we visited Wilberforce house too when we were in York
Nanto hope your in laws are well x
Oma, I'm sure it will be nothing, but certainly the right thing to get it checked right away. My SIL had a worrying time with this recently, but all was well.
The Wilberforce House you went to will be the nice one in York. Oma and Qwerty . I am going to a boring 60's office type building a few miles out
Oma my GS1 literally never stops talking. It's lovely and quiet when he has gone home
I hope you knee improves soon Enfys, enjoy lunch out!

Good morning everyone. A late start for me today - I didn't wake up till 8.30.
Oma - I do hope B is ok but as you say, much better to get it checked out straight away. I'm glad the nurses nagged him about drinking water as well. Poor chap - nagged on all fronts. xx
Enfys - poor you. I hope your knee is ok. Console yourself with it being a sports injury, not advancing years and creaking bones. xx Enjoy your lunch.
Qwerty - You sounds exhausted. But you have had a couple of very busy days, and I should think your GD1's swimming skills had you on edge. I'm sorry OH is not feeling so great. I hope it soon passes. xx
Gem - I didn't know it was Afternoon Tea week, but that might be why a friend has posted pics of a yummy plate of cakes on FB! I hope you and your mum enjoy yours.
Nanto - you're off to a good start today! I hope it all continues that way.
Plant - I'm sure you're on your way to Cornwall now. Safe journey and have a lovely time. At least the weather for the week-end should be good.
I've no plans for today. We should have been going to a preview of an Open Studio event tonight, but the host's daughter is ill so it's been cancelled. We'll go and have a look tomorrow. I'll write about it on a separate thread later.

Well done tests taken different bloods and although there is blood in his urine they can't see a reason for it .
He has a kidney scan on the 6th September and they making a appointment for the urologist but said they may never find out why it's happened π Always best to get checked and I think it's gave him a fright and he realises how important the water drinking is π
Good afternoon all . I have just come back from lunch with the girls. Had to force myself to go but I am glad I did . We have all agreed a date and place for our Christmas meal and I have persuaded our one friend to book it when she is there next week . That job is usually down to me and silly as it is at the moment I canβt be bothered with it .
Oma do you think B may have passed a tiny stone. OH has had stones several times and when he had blood in his urine the dr told him it was most probably a tiny piece of a broken down stone. Dr said it is possible to pass something really small without feeling too much discomfort.
Arrived safely, met up with DIL, GS3 and his girl friend, they travelled much earlier. We are settled in the house, I have a lovely room, they have rented this house loads of times but it s the first time I have stayed here. Done our first shop, quick meal tonight, we are all a bit tired. They are planning a trip to St. Ives tomorrow.
Oma that must have been a shock for B , best to get it checked.
Mimi pleased you met up with your friends, are you still in pain?
Qwerty it did seem a rash decision for your OH to come off the prescribed tablets so suddenly, hope he will be okay now he is back on them.
