If you can’t sleep, ponder on this....somehow at least 5 pairs of black cotton knickers and 3 pairs of black no VPL knickers have disappeared from my undies drawer!!!
I only ever tumble dry them, so not a knicker nicker from the line, only OH’s drawers in his drawers. I am at a complete loss as to where they could be. Any suggestions gratefully received.
      Good night All.

Quite a nice morning,so just sorted some towels and t-towels for washing.

            Good morning all.

            Missing Knicker Shock!!

GS1 is on his way here. We are meeting my friends and their GS this morning.
My OH is on her way to play golf, near Birmingham. A long day. 3 hours drive, golf tournament followed by light meal, and 3 hours drive back. I was all for them staying the night, but OH's golf partner didn't want to. Neither did OH really, but I think I could have persuaded her if the other person was up for it.

            Have a good day everyone.

              Morning all.

Gem that is a long day for your OH.Is she doing the driving? I’m glad your head has cleared,Iwonder where that came from.

Enfys I hope OH isn’t too tired after yesterday.Hanging around in a hospital seems to drain anybody’s energy.

Qwerty,a busy day in store for you.Hope it all goes to plan.

Usual sort of day for me. Work this morning then who knows. I’ve just loaded the washing machine hoping to hang the washing out but it’s drizzling here at the moment.

Clover, OH offered to drive but the other lady said she would. She knows the area apparently. It is a pity they can't share the driving, but neither would be insured for the other to drive their car.
                Don't work too hard!

Feeling drained this morning, raging headache, stiff neck.....although I did sleep ok.

The men came back back to finish the hedge yesterday, the bees nest has been dealt with but one of them was still moaning that there were bees around! As I said, it’s a blinking garden with flowers and it’s summer...what do you expect? Needless to say, we won’t be using them again, they must be in the wrong job if they can’t cope with Garden wildlife! That was just about the last straw yesterday, I felt really rough last night, although I don’t say much to P as he is always so good about whatever happens, just gets on with it.

Sun is out and it feels very warm, off to supermarket in a minute but I will need a fleece, it’s always freezing cold in there......something else for me to grumble about!!! Just call me moaning Minnie today 🤬

Moan away Enfys! I have a headache too, but not as bad as yesterday. I took painkillers so hopefully they will kick in soon.
I hope you feel better soon too Enfys.
I have prepared the picnic for GS and me, and made soup for lunch tomorrow when friends come.
                    Talk to you all later.

                      Good night All.
Grauntie - have you checked the fridge for your (and Oma's) lost items? If they're there could you please check to see if a t-shirt I bought this year is with them, please. It's blue, with short sleeves.

Enfys - poor you. No wonder you feel so rotten. The waiting, worry and then the whingeing from the gardeners are enough to make anyone feel poorly. I hope you feel better as the day goes on. I actually didn't finish my shopping last week because it was so cold in the supermarket! You know it's bad when the staff are wearing fleeces, gilets and fur lined boots in August!!

Gem - a long day for your OH. Can she relax while someone else is driving? I hope her golf doesn't suffer from the early start.

Clover - I hope you get your washing dried.

Nanto - you've reminded me I've got a pile of towels, and dog towels, to wash!

It's a lovely warm start to the day here. I didn't wake up till 9 am, and am still on my second cup of tea. OH is still half asleep, but he says his eye feels scratchy. This has happened the other times as well, and it will gradually improve but just now I think it's very uncomfortable for him.

So no plans for us today. I might do some weeding in the front garden, but will probably end up doing some more painting. I'm making the most of having a bit of free time.

                        Good morning all .

GN, Oma Daisy I have discovered that there are naughty imps that roam around at night moving things , well they do in this household because why was the a tube of toothpaste sitting in the medicine/ tablet box ? I certainly didn't put it in there !

Its a very muggy day here , really uncomfortable to be honest . I was surprised as to how green the grass was in Cardiff compared to the grass here , we still haven't had that much rain , just the odd shower, I know I am going to regret that statement any time soon as a bank holiday is looming and we all know what that means....rain
I'm having my a hair trimmed this afternoon and then I must pop to Tesco to get some a few cards , save having go to town,

Enfys how is OH this morning , Hope he is feeling a lot better today.

                        Hope everyone is well

Sorry to hear about the problems with your OH's hospital appointment, hope they sort it soon.

Hope the migraine sufferers are feeling better.

Qwerty, pleased you found a buyer for your car, that didn't take long.

                            Morning ladies ( just )
Gem I find after a migraine I have a heavy achy head the next day , its takes a while to clear , maybe the fresh air with GS and picnic will help ,I hope so , S will be shattered when she gets home tonight xx

Enfys its most likely all tension you have wound yourself up over P I know how that feels and you feel awful moaning when you think what they are going through , but sometimes it gets too much and your body lets you know about it ,
Relax today do your shopping at your leisure don't race around then go get a coffee and watch the world go by

Plant how was your meal last night ? are you out again today ?

Daisy his poor eyes must be so sore ,

Clover damp hear too ive had to put my washing in the Tumble , watch tomorrow when we have no washing the sun will shine

Nanto its odd what goes missing in our house ,
GM we should set up a detective agency to track down these missing items

Been to our local shopping centre picked one of our elderly neighbours up and gave him a lift , a sprightly old gent but he's waiting for a heart bypass and gets out of breath easy so took him up with us ,
Then we bumped into two other couples who are our neighbours so stood chatting to them and one lot were going to find our elderly neighbour and take him back home with them so that was good for him ,
From there we called in Aldi for salad stuff , came out with a trolley full of shopping as you do

Might pop to B&M after lunch see how we feel but first I must go to B&Q for Emulsion .

Im not fat just 6ft too small

Everyone's busy again. Glad you sold your car Qwerty....at a profit too. Well done. Take it steady this week. Feet up when you can. Oma, how did B get on at the dentist? I go to the dental hospital next Tues.

Enfys I do feel for you. You must be exhausted ...not just the patient who needs caring for. Try to take it steady. I hope OH gets sorted soon. Daisy, does your husband have eye drops? They helped me when I had eye trouble.

Re missing knickers...have you checked the washing machine or airing cupboard if you have one? Normally with missing clothes I put them in the wash basket & shove it out of the way under a chair. I then forget it's there.

Off to make some scones to take to my brother's tomoro. Sibling get together.
