Mimi - I'm sorry I missed your post yesterday about your trip down memory lane. I'm sure your niece will treasure the photos you gave her.
GM - I love the idea of the pea shooter war! Something to try when we next have a house full of children!
Plant - what a pity it's misty down in Cornwall. I hope it picks up for you today. The fish pie sounds yummy, and I'm sure the girlfriend won't starve whatever is on offer.
Nana - curious as always, I Googled Wensleydale, and it's an area, one of the Yorkshire Dales. There seems to be a village called Wensley, so no wonder you couldn't find Wensleydale as such! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wensleydale
Nanto - I do hope the weather's kinder to you today so you can get that garden ship shape!
Gem - I hope your mum is ok today. Did you find anything exciting in Aldis?
Wee Granny - how about a GRU party to celebrate your Lottery win?
Oma - I hope B doesn't have a painful time at the dental hospital. Enjoy your day with GS1 and mutt.
Clover - that's the best reason to be AWOL! What a lovely chance though for all the family to be together. xx
We had an early start today for OH's appointment at the eye hospital. There was very little traffic so we got there early, and were on our way home by 9.30. He's 'listening' to the tv at the moment, resting his eyes, and snoring, bless him.
I think I'll get an early lunch and then go and do some more painting while I've got a bit of time.
Have a good day everyone.

Clover what lovely photos and nice to see that lovely smile of G's he really is a lovely man
Getting family together is a rare treat isn't it and to have the photos as a memory is lovely , wish I could get my lot together but they always doing other things that clash , our children lead busy lives don't they ,
Our day is not going to plan. DH had his chemo appointment this morning so off we trot for our 10.30 time slot. Waited for 25 mins and everyone else had gone in but not us, So I checked at the desk and they’d given us the wrong time, should have been 11, oh well, no problem. However, halfway through the procedure they discovered that the PIC line was blocked, lots of nurses trying various ways to unblock it but eventually Doctor sends himto X-ray for a line assessment. By this time it’s nearly two o’clock, poor Dexter had been on his own since 10 and the men were com8ng to finish the hedge at 3. So I’m home, and hopefully it will all be sorted and I can go and pick him up later. What a day!

Enfys what a palavar😕 I hope that your OH gets sorted. I hope you hear from him soon to pick him up & all's well that ends well.x
Thanks for the info' Daisy. We actually went through Wensley. Trouble with the lovely villages is that you can never find a parking space. Didn't see any signs for Wensleydale cheese either. Why is it that I can't say it without pulling my mouth down either side to sound like Wallace...or is it Grommit?😂

Oh heck Enfys a palaver indeed , I know Oma through her many posts has had this problem with B hopefully it’s a one off, but it always happens when you have made other arrangements fingers crossed he could finish his treatment
I am laying low for today just a washing load out and a bit of pottering, 3 dys childminding tomorrow I know nothing new there but it’s unlikely I shall get on here for the rest of the week
Clover commented on your album thread lovely to see family together
Hope all the menfolk had surccessful appointments seems to be a lot today
Have a good week all 🤪
nfys it always happens when you have no time doesn't it ,
We have had the hold your arm in the air and cough method , the saline blast , , Suction etc etc and sometimes nothing works but a renewal ,
Hope this isn't the case with hubby as that's a stay I Hospital overnight sometimes , luckily its a easy procedure though and quite common
Well, he waited until 4.30 to be told they couldntmdo anything about it today. So we have to wait for an appointment to go in and get it sorted. Feeling shattered.

Oh dear Enfys
I hope you are rested for your 3 days of childcare Qwerty!
I had a migraine earlier, rare for me to get the ones with a bad headache, I usually just get the flashing lights. But this was bad, and light hurting my eyes. It has just about gone now. Thank goodness. Driving home from mum's was no fun though

Oh Gem that's awful , glad it hasn't lasted long , rest up and rest your eyes too xxx
Enfys its so annoying isn't it , you wait around so long then they tell you that ,
Keep a eye out for temp or shivering as it could get infected while you wait xx
Well my week just got busier, I have sold my car and he’s picking up tomorrow about one , coming on the train from Shropshire, and I got £200 more than I bought it for although it has been done up beautifully . The. Fireplace man rang to say can he come tomorrow to put the fireplace in late morning he’s just got an afternoon to spare , and eldest g/d coming for tea at 4.30 😯
Enfys - poor P, and also poor you. I hope they can get the line sorted quickly, because you will worry until it's done. Thank goodness Oma is on hand for advice/reassurance and everything. No wonder you're shattered. I was tired when we got back from OH's appointment at Southampton this morning, and there was no hanging around or waiting to see what they were going to do next. OH has been dozing for most of the day, and is still tired.
Qwerty - Why do we both get busy weeks that get even busier! Well done on selling your car. I hope the fireplace man doesn't make a mess - a house full of dust is something you could do without this week.
Gem - I'm glad your migraine's better. It's been quite warm and heavy here, so if it's been the same for you that's perhaps what triggered it.
Nanto - you've made me feel guilty getting your gardening done. I think I'll have to do some weeding and tidying up at the front tomorrow.
