Bright just now,but rain is in the forecast.

    Mimi, we've lived in this house 49 years,and i could.t imagine moving.
Our neighbour had a knee replacement, about 5 weeks ago,and he is walking ok now.

Oma,good that you didn't get all the extra food in.

Quite pleasant here today, warm but not too hot. Steam cleaned the bathroom and kitchen floors, sorted out some drawers now sitting with a coffee. Off to our cardiac rehab class later, our last week so we will be getting our certificate. We will then be able to join the Heart Club gym, DH is pleased as the oncologist said that exercise during chemo can be helpful as long as he feels like it. We just had a long chat and he says no way is he giving in to it, I will have to watch he doesn’t over do it but am o,eased he is so positive. Have a good day everyone.......leave that hot hissy thing alone, Daisy 😉

Under threats from Mimi - I've put the hot hissy thingy down, for now. My shoulder is aching and I need my Chatbox fix!!!

Oma - what a pity your guests have had to cancel, but at least you hadn't shopped for them.

Gem - I hope GS2 and mummy and daddy enjoy their week-end. Is S back today?

Plant - glad you are able to have your injection today - if I remember rightly you had to have a blood test to make sure you could have it?

Libra - you do accumulate stuff, but it's so good to have a thorough clear out!

Mimi - you can stop shouting now! I'm back, but the bad news is there are still 2 baskets of ironing shouting at me as well! OH is getting lunch so I'm having a break! It sounds as though your SIL is doing well - two weeks isn't long! I hope you admired the scar! Yep, common sense says stay put, but what's that got to do with making choices. If you want to move, do it.

Enfys - you've been a busy bee steaming around! I'm so glad your OH is so positive - it makes such a difference. If he can keep exercising during treatment I'm sure he will feel better for it.

OH got a phone call from the local Eye hospital yesterday offering him an appointment on Monday afternoon about the bleed in his eye. We don't know whether to be pleased it's so quick or worried because it's too quick!

More misfortune for the Lewis family. Poor little T fell running and broke her wrist. At the hospital waiting to be plastered. 😩

Oh no Libra, hope she is OK .

Daisy I think most eye departments aim to act quickly so just tell OH to look on it positively

Oh no Libra. Hope she is ok.

I'm waiting for GD to get here from school.
No doubt she will come in saying she is starving.

Your OH is a positive man Enfys, it will be be for the good
Why do people feel the need to show operation scars Mimi??!!
Poor little T, Libra. My DD3 did the same when she was in her teens. She was running with her best friend, holding hands when they tripped and her friend fell onto her! She got to choose a purple cast, hopefully choosing her colour will help distract T a bit.
I think eye departments don't waste any time Daisy.
I'm glad to put that ironing away ! I did 2 lots this week, that will me done for ages as S will take over
I think she is due back around 5pm.

I had a nice morning with GS2, but he was flagging a bit with no afternoon nap, by the time DD collected him at 1.45. The man came for the strimmer. He was very nice, with a lovely smile and ponytail so I liked him straight away (I was only exchanging an old strimmer for a tenner, it shouldn't really matter if I liked him )

A dull day here, and none too warm. No rain though so I got washing dried.

Hello from me , a busy day as always picked the car up from garage all fixed unlike my bank balance, OH and I scrubbed kitchen I cleaned all cupboards although they weren’t bad to be honest OH washed all the tiles down as they had stopped shining , and washed whatever didn’t move, food shopping got done .
OH went round to my friend over the road that lost her OH earlier this year, she’s having roller blinds put up next week so he went to take her curtains down and curtain pole and moved some furniture that’s his good deed for the day!
Enfys your OH is amazing his outlook on things are to be admired , Omas OH is the same smashing fellows
Libra when you think nothing else can go wrong it does OUCH, poor girl it will be painful and takes some getting over I’ve been told , keep calm my dear
Gem glad the selling went ok we will have you working the markets soon enough ! We have problems with the twins they are not aloud to sleep, M will fall asleep stood up sometimes , it’s very difficult isn’t it
Daisy that is a quick appointment I don’t think they like to keep people waiting with eye problems I’m sure he will be fine
Oma. a bit disappointing about your friends cancelling but you have to think of B too you don’t want him catching anything, at least you didn’t have anything prepared
Plant I have a friend that has an injection for her bones too hope all went well
You don’t hear me say this often but I am cheesed off with cleaning believe it or not !!!!!!!

Enfys, very positive husband you have there.

Libra just read on FB that your GD has broken her forearm, poor wee sole.

I don't know about you but I sometimes think im going over the same things and there is nothing wrong with them in the first place

I agree Oma I think age is telling on me, it is an obsession not so much OCD it’s what I’ve always done and I’m glad to hear you get fed up too thought it was me getting lazy

Oma and Qwerty - I've always said you're welcome here any time for a cleaning fest! Always plenty to test your skills in this house.

Plant - cheers - nothing like sitting down after a busy day with a drink.

I'm down from 3 baskets of ironing to 1/2 of one, but had to leave off as my shoulder was aching. At least old age gives you opportunities for excuses!!

Libra - poor little T. I hope it doesn't cause her too much discomfort or pain.

Gem - well done on selling the strimmer. It's one of those things once you've done it you wonder why you were reluctant. OH will be pleased when she gets back. Ooops, I didn't realise it was that time - she may be back already.

I'm just waiting for OH to finish writing a letter so we can take Eva out for a run.

Spoken to SIL she has broken both bones in her forearm, not her wrist.Surgery tomorrow to realign the bones.Poor T looks totally doped up on the oramorph. Qwerty and Oma to me housework is just something that has to be done, can't honestly say it gives me a source of joy.
