Good morning all. Another hot and sunny day here.
Great news Libra, what a relief for you all. I hope she continues to make good progress and is home soon x
weve been enjoying the lovely weather, not doing a lot but pottering in the garden, enjoying our meals outside etc. I’ve noticed a lot more birds this summer, they are flying about all day long. It’s lovely to watch them.
DH has his scan today. Fingers crossed all is OK."Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened." - Dr Seuss

Morning ladies.
Weather has changed here Yesterday was a lot cooler and breezy and today it’s just grey at the moment.
Enfys ,hope all goes well with scan.As Oma says it’s the waiting for results that is the awful part. We have two weeks to wait till we get the result of G’s skin biopsy.
Libra such good news about your DD.So pleased for you all.
Must pop out later to post GD a good luck card for her GCSEs starting next week. She’s already done her drama performance and some art but the written exams start in earnest next week.
Have a good day everyone.

Good morning everyone,
The forecast is for a lot cooler and more unsettled weather. The sun is out here at the moment however
It rained here yesterday late afternoon. Luckily I had brought DD's washing in as it was all dry, and OH brought ours in when she noticed it clouding over,
Enfys, fingers crossed, I hope all goes well with the scan. I'm sure all will be well, but as Oma says, we can't help having some worry until we are told there is nothing to worry about!
Get that shopping done while it's cooler Oma, good plan!
Just my nail appointment at 3.15. There is an ironing backlog here, so I must do some today. I won't be doing a lot if it is hot though!
OH will be near Middlesborough for a golf competition, followed by a meal, so I will cook something easy for myself tonight.

Good morning everyone. It's another lovely sunny day here (so far) but not quite so hot.
Libra - I hope T's move to Newton Abbot went well. It's great to hear good news after so much worry. xxx
Oma - don't get too used to 'me' time - it never lasts!
Mimi - you are obviously not meant to do any washing, drying or ironing, and I think you should accept that - and get someone else to do it for you!! I remember the drum bearings 'going' on one washing machine and it made so much noise you couldn't make a phone call, upstairs with all the door closed - it was so noisy!
Plant - I hope your new car arrives soon - you have a very busy life and it must be hard having to get lifts everywhere. xx
Gem - what colour handbag did you get for S?
I'm having a slow start after the last few very busy days. Just on my second cuppa - and a chat on here.Dog training went really well last night - Eva did everything I asked of her, and did the best she's ever done at walking off lead round other dogs. The lady who usually makes the tea wasn't there so I offered, and Eva sat quietly on her mat while I was in the kitchen. I never thought she would be able to do that. Mind you she was pretty k******ed after a day with Cooper!
I'm going to take today as it comes. I might pop down to the garden centre and get plants for the three big pots - I'm fed up with seeing them empty!
Have a good day, ladies.

We have sun atm, not sure what the forecast is. My laptop has stopped receiving the internet, SIL tried to fix it but no luck, so I am restricted to my IPad, keep reaching for the mouse.
Enfys, hope the scan is clear, anxious time again. Will be thinking of you.
Clover, worrying time for you waiting for the result of G's biopsy.

Enfys - I'm so sorry I missed seeing your post. I do hope OH's scan goes well today. Everything crossed for you.
Yes, we've got lots of birds around at the moment - a lot of young bluetits and greenfinches, and blackbird daddies collecting food by the beakful. We seem to have more bats in the evening as well."Joy is what happens to us when we allow ourselves to recognise how good things really are. "

I will have more time this afternoon to chat tired and a tad fed up at the moment 😥

On my laptop & for some reason I can't change the font style & size. Enfys I hope that your OH's scan went well. Libra I'm so pleased for you & your family. OH is on his second day golfing so I've had a quiet day. Gem, I think we're turning into the proverbial 'golf widows'. Our poor pooch misses him & stays loyally by the front door waiting for him to come home. He goes off his food too. Poor little thing gets anxious.
Cooler today so it suits me better. You're right Nan2 that some of us prefer it cooler."Good friends help you to find important things when you have lost them....your smile, your hope, and your courage."

Hubs is off to Newton Abbot to visit T tomorrow,I have packed 2 bags of jelly babies for her, there her favourites. Dogs and I will have an easy day after walkies duty, rain overnight here I believe,so hope it's dry in time for our walk. Enfys hope hubby's scan went okay.
