What a lot I've got to catch up on!

It hasn't actually rained here after all - but Plant will certainly need that new jacket on the IOW Ferry on Thursday if it doesn't get any better. Brrrrr ....

Nanto - I'm so glad you're feeling better - the tablets must be doing something beneficial.

Oma - poor you, that sounds very painful, but at least you will slow down a bit and get some rest. Do take care of yourself. xx

Plant - I bet you will be more than delighted to see your new car by July.

Clover - I'm glad you've had a pleasant day - you often get rain when the rest of the country doesn't, so it has to be your turn for dry weather sometime.

Mimi - your life just keeps on getting more exciting! Worming and flea-treatment for the cat - WOW

Gem - I think I'm going to have to buy tomato plants this year. I planted a few seeds last week, but they are so late now, and it's still too cold for them to 'do'.

Our caravan looks lovely and shiny - it's a different colour alltogether, and looks about 10 years younger (it's 15 years old!) This week I didn't risk putting both dogs in the car after last week's drama. I took Eva over to DS2's house, then went to pick GD2 up from playgroup, then went to the shop for Cooper. Phew, got them all home safely! I got home and the lawn was reasonably dry so I cut that, so we were late having dinner, and now I'm shattered!

    Night night everyone.

We had a lovely morning with auntie, and I got a couple of things for the GC from the charity shop. We went to the garden centre and OH got her tomato plants and we bought a willow screen to go in front of the greenhouse to protect GS2 when he is running about in the garden.
Mum phoned mid afternoon with various excuses/reasons why we couldn't clean her house on Wednesday and her not go to DD2's. I'm afraid I was rather short with her, then when I was trying to talk her round, which was working well, she suddenly began to snap at me and take offence at every single thing I said. There is no talking to her when she's like that so I put the phone down. I gave us both time to calm down and finished writing up the minutes, then I drove over there. All is OK now and the cleaning day plan is back on!!

            Good morning everyone.
            The sun is out today

Nan2, a lovely graphic, and topical for me, as this weekend is our village Scarecrow Festival. We do not have an entry this year, but my library Friends group does. I will post a picture at some point.
Thanks Plant. I love my mum, but she has never been easy.

GS1 to collect from school today. Before that I have few online tasks to do. Not planning much else as tomorrow OH and I will be cleaning my mum's house all day!!

Have a good day everyone, and I hope poorly ones feel better, and things ease for those with worries xxx

Morning! Can't believe I'm on computer at this time of the morning....usually still tucked up in bed! GP appointment at 7.45 a.m. is the reason.Still, the sun is shining and I've had a walk in the fresh air so all in all a good start to the day!

Reading with my little group this afternoon and a pile of washing to get sorted through and in machine before then.

Hope everyone has a good day whatever you're up to!

Gem, I don’t know about deep breaths, I think you need an oxygen tank!
People are so inventive re the Scarecrow festival. We aren’t heading north until the end of May this year so we will miss it. Looking forward to some pics.
After a foul day weather wise yesterday we had a beautiful sunset here, and today is sunny but chilly. I need to start in the garden but it will be muddy to say the least. Good job I’ve got a good book on the go, I can ignore anything with a good book to read.
                Have a good day gels.

Gemini, good luck with the house cleaning tomorrow, make sure you put everything back where your mother can find it or you will be in trouble. Hope she is enjoying the snooker.

WG, morning dew for the face, hadn't heard of that, think it is a bit late now for me.

No chasing down the road for you this time Daisy, well done.

G'day everyone. Just a quick 'hello' in between dashing round stopping Cooper eating everything that moves (and some things that don't!). He's tired and acts like a toddler going through the worst of the terrible twos, but not many toddlers weigh in at over 25 kg and have four legs to propel them out of your reach! Eva is having nothing to do with him today. So just off to feed the toddler, then GD2 and me. We're out at the theatre tonight, so I may not catch up!

Have a good, sunny day everyone.

Hubby had 30 minute chat with T said it was a good "normal" chat , she got confused over a few things. Said she would see us for Ns birthday friday, still thinks I live in Totnes and his parents are down this weekend, all wrong but never mind. Results of biopsy inconclusive but nothing to cause any worries thank goodness. Still no rehab, SIL thinks it will be after Bank holiday now. Not mentioning work nearly as much. Little steps but we will all feel happier when she finally gets to rehab, as that is another step towards home. 😊
