A routine day for me I hope.My domestic goddess job this morning,Tesco delivery this afternoon and Pilates this evening.

Well I have had a busy morning so far ,
I cleared all the leaves out of the garden with the dog trying to bite the sweeping brush as I went making me take twice the time to get them up ,

I then got the ladders out and cleaned the guttering on the Utility roof ,a messy job , and decided to get the hose up there and flush it along and down the drain pipe to ensure it was clean ,
Not only was it not a good idea as I got splashed with all the gunge but then the hose came off the tap and the hose shot around spraying water all over, the dog got soaked chasing it .

I then had to dry the dog and get washed and changed again , we did look a sight , never mind its done now .

Good morning all, how is everyone . I can see I have a lot of gossip to catch up with since I have been away.

We had lovely weather while we were away, on Sunday we went to the Railway museum and we sat outside in the lovely sunshine ( we were actually in short sleeve tops, not bad for October ) . SIL wanted to do the ghost walk but when she was how much it was she wasn't too keen. We joked that she was more afraid of the cost than any ghost.

I am now on my 5th load of washing. How can I have so much washing for 2 people , we were only away 4 days !

Nana to did your MIL hurt herself when she dropped the vase ?

Welcome back Mimi. No, MIL didn't hurt herself when she dropped the vase.I told her not to touch anything until i got there.

Magaged to get loads of jobs done,while hubby is out.
Even cleaned out the biscuit jars, quite a few crumbs for the birds.

Oma I can just picture the scene,one soaking dog and one grubby,damp lady.
I wouldn't say I enjoy my job but I don't mind going either. The ladies are very tidy with no clutter which makes it a lot easier than some of the cleaning jobs I used to do.
Nanto,it's amazing what you can get done when you have the house to yourself- I wonder why that is?
Gem,well done on your note taking.A very responsible job but worthwhile.

I am snowed under with Bramley cooking apples, I will start the chutney and mincemeat soon but there are so many coming down now, I am taking some to a guiding meeting this evening.
