Clover I am concerned about the holiday, it is a long flight and I would hate to have a bleed in the air. We will see.

Make sure that that when your husband goes to the optician that they give him the puff test and the field of vision test. My husband has lost 90% of his peripheral sight through glaucoma so we have lived with it for a long time (18 years) Chances are that the eye pressures are slightly raised but not enough to do any damage right now. It is when they get abnormally high that irreparable damage happens.

Glad things went well for your OH Clover.
Zizi, I'm sorry about the nosebleed. It is probably still delicate in there and the sneeze has set it off again. I hope it stops soon.

I went to see my mum and although I didn't tell her I was worrying (of course) I felt a lot better for just chatting to her

Zizi - I hope your nose is ok - you really need your holiday and some time to switch off.

CLover - that is good news about G's eyes - I'm very relieved for both of you.

Gem - I'm glad you're feeling a bit better for having a chat with your mum.

Oma - has the smell of that black smoke cleared - it can hang around for ages.

On my way to collect GD2 from playgroup I went to the garden centre to get some John Innes No 3 for some large pots we are replanting. I drove right past the garden centre although I know exactly where it it, and then on my way from the garden centre to playgroup I drove right past the lane leading to playgroup. I don't know what on earth I was thinking of! Then coming home tonight there are temporary 3-way lights in our village and when our turn came I was following another car, who stopped, pulled forwards, backwards same again and eventually reversed into his drive, leaving me trapped in the very narrow bit of road and traffic from the opposite direction coming towards me because by then their lights had changed! Grrr! I think I'll walk tomorrow!

                  Good morning everyone.

Cold here, but not frosty like it was yesterday morning.

Nan2, I'm making shepherds pie this morning. It's for tomorrow, then GD and GS2 can have some as well. Or we may end up eating it tonight, and just save their portions for tomorrow. It is my favourite meal, so I will find it hard to wait
Enjoy the coffee and retail therapy Enfys.
I hope you find some nice clothes today Oma
Daisy, I hope you have uneventful journeys today. We have had a few sets of temporary traffic lights around here recently. My dread is getting stuck as you did!

Tuesday, so GS1 day. Collecting him from school, then back to his house.
On the way I need to call into Debenhams to collect the kettle I bought in the sale, and get petrol, as I was on the red yesterday!

                  Have a good day

Well came back empty handed , the trousers I wanted were out of stock in my size so I will order online to collect and all the tops I looked at are not the nicest of colours,
I will trawl online later see what I can find ,
I did come back with some document pockets and some batteries though

Hello from me little Miss Daisy.

Very overcast here, haven't poked my nose out yet so don't know if it cold. Hope to get to a garden centre today to register my gardening club card as apparently I have over £20 due to me but my card isn't registered so can't send them to me, apparently I can't register it online, how stupid is that. I also need to go to chemist to collect my tablets that have been waiting for me for a week.

Hope you find the clothes you want Oma.

I can almost taste those shepherds pies.

Have you all seen the pictures Jane has posted on FB, she has been to London to meet an MP and Ester Rantzen.
