Been like that for years and years Nana , they balloon when its too hot and my joints hurt , Dr said with my Arthritis its the change in air pressure makes them ache and swell

I got wet!
At my mums, it was getting dark and I thought 'I should get going before there is a storm.' Suddenly torrential rain! It thundered a few times too. My car, which I park on the road in front of mums house had windows half open to keep it cool. I dashed out, switched on the engine and closed the windows then dashed back into the house. That was long enough to get my hair and T shirt soaked!
A bit of water for the gardens at least. It is sunny again now.

Poor Qwerty - she's having less luck with her internet than I am at the moment. At least mine's working, even though it's so slow.

Oma - I hope you feel better for putting your feet up. Mine swell a bit in the heat, but not enough to be a big problem, unless I've got silly shoes on!

I've mentioned elsewhere that we have had rain. Two very short, but very heavy showers about 5 minutes apart. But I'd just started to water the pots, so I carried on and got soaked. For all that it's so warm the rain was flippin' cold. Tropical weather doesn't include warm, tropical rain, it seems!

Gem, sorry you got caught in it as well. Was S on the golf course?

Evening all. I haven’t been on here earlier as I have been battling with a migraine and for a while it looked as if it was going to win but I battled on and won eventually. I put it down to the weather.

We have been sat outside this evening looking for the blood moon which OH assured was tonight.
Well the fool had got wrong day...better luck tomorrow. ( I have noticed there is a thread on this topic so I will have a look at it in a mo )

Poor Qwerty she isn’t having the best of times is she . If anyone has been able to speak to her can you let her know we are all thinking of her.

I have to admit it that I am a little envious of the ladies who have had some rain , apart from the one shower (short lived) we had the other week we haven’t had any rain here since the middle of May .

Well we had a flash flood & the water was 1/3 up our driveway! To say our drive is on an upward slope says how much rain we had in 10mins. The drains couldn't cope. First time it's happened since we moved here in 1996.

Sorry to hear Qwerty's internet is down. Been thinking about her today. Also thinking of Libra too. I think it's a while since she's been on here. Oma I'm pleased that you can get a little respite with your swollen feet. Daisy, pleased OH's eyes are on the mend.👍
