It's a nice morning so far.

    Hope Oma is asleep now.
I haven't done bad for the last three nights. Maybe i shouldn't have said that.

Don't know what i am doing today, will just take the day as it comes.

Daisy, that was strange about the ponies.

Nana, hope the hospital appointment goes well.

Good morning everyone. I hope the night birds managed to get some sleep.

Nanto - enjoy your 'free' day.

Nana - good luck for your hernia appointment today.

Oma - the ponies (and other animals) are free to wander all over the New Forest, but they're sociable animals and tend to wander round in loose 'family' groups. Their priorities are food, water and shelter, either from the sun or the bad weather, so if it's hot they congregate under trees etc. They have no fear of traffic and mostly ignore it. This stretch of road is very shady with a stream at the bottom of the hill, and yesterday there were about 30 of them more or less just standing there right across the road. Some were joining the group and some leaving, and the traffic at the front seemed unable to 'persuade' them to move over. Eventually some wandered off into the woods and others carried on down the road and over a single track bridge! I can't ever remember seeing so many in one place before, so it was really odd.

Hairdressers for me this morning, then OH and I have promised to go and sort out some overgrown bushes for DS2 - the job got rained off on Sunday! We must be mad!

        Good morning ladies

A day of nice things for me! Reflexology for me (and get the latest news on the pregnancy) Then DD2 will bring GD here and we will have lunch. GD and I are going to the theatre to see The Secret Garden this afternoon, which we are both looking forward to. I will take GD home afterwards because I want to see GS2 before they all go to Cornwall tomorrow. I will miss his cuddles

GS1 and I had a good day yesterday. He came with me to collect half-shorn cat, then he and I went to the park. He met a little boy his age who had a football. GS has no ball skills but they managed! We had an ice cream, and on the way back GS found and rehid 3 H**** (where I live) Rocks, which he enjoyed. All in all a good day, except he cried when he went home saying he wanted a sleepover!

        Have a good day everyone.

Oma , tell B we can be over there in a flash if he doesn't increase his drinking water . He won't want a lot of disgruntled ladies nagging him will he .

I've got drs appointment later today. Been waiting over 3 weeks for this appointment

Did some online Tesco grocery shopping this morning and ....you might want to look away at this point.... They have got the big tins of Roses , Quality Street etc. in and they are on offer so you know what we , or perhaps just me , will do , we will buy them with the idea of putting them away for Christmas only to eat them and have to buy more. So by the time that festive day arrives that £5 tin of sweets has cost about £30 in total .

Its very muggy here at the moment , it keeps trying to rain but I hope it holds out till the washing is dry .

My thoughts are with Libra today I will pop on here later to see how things are
Bring me sunshine in your smile.

Mimi, hope the appointment goes well.

Oma, hope B is drinking more of what he should be.

So much for a free day.
Hubby decided to make some alterations to the outside of the conservatory.
Therefore, everything had to be cleaned, including the windows.
Did them inside and outside, thank goodness for my Karcher window vac.
                Does look nice now though.

I've bought myself some of those clog like shoes for the garden , can't remember there name now ,
Went to Aldi and they were selling them for £3.99 , I put them on to go dead head the flowers and was surprised how comfy they are ,
I wanted something weather proof I could leave by the back door in the utility rather than go find my shoes every time I go out ,
They are a fetching shade of bright PINK 😁 didn't have my size in Black so Pink it was 😊

Oma - were you a Croc virgin? I luuuuuuvvve my crocs. I buy 2 pairs every year and wear them instead of slippers, plus pottering about in the garden. I had to stop wearing slippers and flipflops after I had plantar fasciitis a few years ago, and crocs have more support under my arches. This years are bright blue and turquoise! You did well to get crocs fro £3.99! My OH doesn't drink enough water (he's had kidney stones twice and still doesn't). I pour him a pint of water every morning and leave it in the kitchen and nag him if he doesn't drink it, refill it and empty it again! It's constant nag, ng]ag, nag. Fortunately he doesn't drink Coke. At least fruit juice is better. I hope it's only something easily sorted out with B's kidneys. xx

Qwerty - one of my sisters-in-law in North Wales reckons the only time she goes out without a jacket, cardigan or jumper is when she's visiting us down here in the sunny south! Strange time for both of us with school looming in September. I won't be having the girls next week as mummy and daddy are taking a rare week off work. Then it's the Bank Hol Monday, so I will only have both of them on the Tuesday. and

Nanto - your window vac sounds like a useful piece of equipment! Does the conservatory look better for your OH's alternations?

Mimi - step back from those tins of chocolates!

Gem - did you and GD enjoy The Secret Garden? How long are they going away for?

Oma, when Crocs first came out I tried a pair & found them so comfy I now own black, pink, light blue & navy blue. To garden in tho I have to wear socks as the soil gets through the holes.

I read an article today where someone said not to put on an open forum when you're on holiday. Apparently the police said you might as well put a sign on your door saying "please come in & take all my things as I'm away on holiday." I didn't think of that.

Oma I'm sorry to hear that your B is having a hiccup. Will he never be 'a good boy?' Not drinking enough indeed.

My appointment went well today. The consultant was a different one, who I saw before & liked. All my abdominal bits are healthy. Hernia not big enough to operate on. Feeling relieved.
