Good morning all . Its a very dull, murky morning here.. I went out to post a letter and its not really that pleasant out. Doesn't feel as if there is any air out there. Need a good thunderstorm to clear the air I suppose.

Enfys waiting is the hard part isn't it. Sending you lots of hugs.

Enjoy your London trip Qwerty , bear in mind when I say trip I mean as in journey , not the falling over sort so go careful

Oh dear Oma , your poor SIL. Good news about GS though, he is doing really well isn't he.

Bring me sunshine in your smile.

Lazy day for me, just been out to lunch with GD, the rest of the family went to London to empty GD2's flat now she has finished Uni. Quite emotional for her, she still hasn't recovered from the virus, still sweating. They picked up GS2 who lives quite close to GD, he is off to Brighton and then theIsle of Wight with girl friend. I don't want to change togarden so just going to sit with my audio book.

Your house must shake on a Saturday morning Oma, why do you do it all on a Sat. Your poor SIL it must hurt and a very excited GS.

Enfys I hope you don't have to wate too long for the result.

Enfys - I hope you get the results soon, and it's good news. Sending you hugs. xxx

Oma - I worry about your family, I really do! Hope SIL is ok, DD's car gets fixed and GS1's excitement doesn't bubble over before he gets to Portugal. xx

Plant - It's a big change in your GD2's life. What is she going to do - move back home? Has she got a job/knows what she would like to do?

Mimi - it was dull here first thing, but then it brightened up and the sun is shining.

Daisy I dread what next they get up too , poor SIL when GS1 hit him with the Guitar case he was in tears had to sit down till his eyes cleared so he could drive , it must have been so painful ,

OIma - have you got a very large roll of bubblewrap handy? If so, please wrap your poor family up in it.

                They certainly need bubble wrap.

Daisy, GD2, who incidentally is still quite poorly, hasn't got a job, she has one or two social commitments during the summer so can't really commit herself, she would like to get into broadcasting but there is a lot of competition for those jobs even with a Masters degree. Her plans atm are that she wants to go to Yorkshire the week after next to join her boyfriend and his family on a holiday in Devon, then she has a friends wedding in Morocco, In Sept. she is going on holiday with the family. Her boyfriend has a job and is starting in Sept.and needs to find a flat-share in London and eventually she will join him there. Dil works in broadcasting and has said when GD is ready she will see if she can help or advise. Going up to London this morning has left her totally whacked and she has been asleep on the sofa since. I think she should be seeing a doctor again, she is still running temperatures. If she were mine I would be taking her to a drop in clinic, she has finished the antibiotic she was prescribed. It appears to be a sinus infection now although she still has infected tonsils.

Hope the sun shines for Qwerty, we are forecast 28 on Monday, not sure about the rest of the week.

Poor GD Plant. It sounds as though she has really got run down so keeps succumbing to things. She may need different antibiotics, but I'm sure she needs total rest too.
No bargains in Homebase, but we did get more weedkiller for Mum's garden. The weeds look even more healthy since OH did them with weedkiller 2 weeks ago!
OH is getting excited about her golf holiday to Portugal and has started to pre-pack. She can't get her suitcase out yet though as we have GD and GS2 staying tomorrow night which means both spare rooms are in use.

Sunny afternoon here so we sat in the garden for a while when we got in.

Plant - poor GD2 does sound poorly. There's a nasty bug doing the rounds here - it seems like a cough with a bit of a cold, but totally wipes you out. My DS2 has been off work 3 weeks with it and still isn't better. He hasn't been to the doctors because he's heard of so many other people having it and the doc says it's a virus, rest, drink plenty of fluids and take paracetamol. His sinuses are painful, too. I think it's probably something your GD can't rush - she needs to rest and take things slowly. xx

Gem - how come weeds survive all attacks, and the slightest variation in conditions sends our beautiful plants into meltdown!

                      Almost daylight here.

Both of us got up at 1am and had a cuppa.
Went back to bed,but i tossed and turned for 2 hours.
I ended up getting back up and had coffee.
Ironing done, dinner prepared.Time for another cuppa.

Plant and Daisy, hope GD and DS2 are feeling better soon.

                        Good morning, Nanto and everyone.

We had a fairly short but very intense thunder storm last night - we'd just gone to bed and the bedroom was lit up with constant lightning for bout an hour. Eva wasn't very happy, but took the opportunity to snuggle up in bed with us. I felt a bit mean thinking about all the dog hairs on our clean bedding!

OH set the alarm for 4.45 this morning to go off to his car boot sale - well, he got me to set it - he doesn't know how. I managed to get back to sleep until 8 o'clock, but I hate being woken by the alarm and still feel tired. We didn't go to the dog show yesterday - total communication failure within the family. DS2 and Co were a bit disappointed when Cooper didn't win the Most Handsome Dog category, but were delighted when he won Best Pedigree in the show!

Off now to put a loaf in the bread machine - I forgot it last night! - and start the day properly. Yay, the sun's come out again. It's going to be one of those days, I think!

                        Enjoy your day, everyone.

                          Good morning.
Overcast here threatening rain.Sky has that “look” about it.

Nanto, not much of a night for you .Hope you don’t suffer too much for it today.

Daisy I hate a shattering alarm.I usually wake up to radio but if I have to get up earlier I have to set a “proper” alarm which wakes you with such a start.
I’m sure Cooper was proud to be the best pedigree in Show. Did he get a rosette.?

I hope those with poorly or injured family members see them improving really soon.

                          Enjoy your Sunday everyone.

We too had a thunderstorm, and I was exhausted after sleeping at DS on Friday whilst awaiting the baby as little O was waking almost every hour. He had a temperature and I think realised something was going on. We finally gave in and got up about 4:30! Still last night’s sleep even though interrupted by the storm made up for it!
We have everyone coming to meet baby L today. O is being taken on a special day out with his other nanny and Grandad so he won’t get jealous of the baby’s attention.

                              Good morning everyone.

Nan2, those wakeful nights are awful. Maybe it's better in a way if you are both awake, and can get up for a cuppa together!
I hope OH sells a lot at the car boot sale Daisy. There is a big one in field about half a mile a way on Sundays throughout summer. We didn't get to it at all last year. We will aim to go for a look one week, but not today, as we are not up yet
Clover, we watched some of the Biggest Weekend concert from Swansea yesterday, and it looked rainy. I hope better weather resumes soon.
That will be a lovely day Avo, baby meeting day Good idea for big brother to be taken out for a treat while everyone coos over baby!

No plans here apart from grandchildren overnight. They are at a party (1 year old twins, babies of one of DD's best friends) then will come here after. It is the work leaving meal for DD3, who works for DD2 and SIL, tonight, so that is why we are having the children.

                              Have a good Sunday everyone.

I slept through the storm, just was aware of one lightning strike. No plans today, perhaps a bit of gardening, hope GD2 is feeling better, she has a ball to go to at Uni this week, I hope she feels up to it. GGS and his parents were here yesterday, he is such a character, very entertaining. Kitten is still climbing the trees in the garden, the birds taunt him, we are just ignoring him now he usually finds a way down. DD and Sil are going to Madrid for four days tomorrow, so some kitten minding for me I presume, without a car I am usually around. Have a good day everyone, whatever you are doing.

Good news about the result in Ireland to legalise abortion.
